Story
This little girl is very energetic. She enjoys playing fetch. She did not get a good start in life which showed us she was not well-socialized, so she can take a bit to warm up to new people and situations. We had her in foster to help her calm down and that did wonders. She requires a fully fenced yard. She shows a little too much interest in small critters and cats. She will need to be leashed at all times (outside), for the first few months until a strong bond is made with her new family. She has been around older children and does well. She is not fully potty trained, but is getting closer. She is a young adult and very nice size, we feel she can be a Catahoula Hound/Blue Heeler/Kelpie/Husky mix maybe? Her Foster Mom had this to say about her;I never did let her off the leash but I would use one of those retractable ones so she would think she was loose and when she would think about chasing the bunnies, I would just say, "Myla no" and she would put her focus back on me l. She was fine with the pigs but when she thought it was going to get me she put herself between me and the pig like she was ready to protect me if something happened, I just said, "Myla no" and she was fine. As far as other dogs we didn't get that far. My mom's dog would come to our sliding glass door and she would just start shaking not acting aggressive just scared. I did let her go up to the puppies next to her kennel at the shelter and she sniffed them then lost interest and walked away. I don't think she would be hard to get used to another dog as long as it was calm and was done slowly like on a walk or something. In the house she listened really well. Idk about cats but I think anything that runs would be a game to her. She's obsessed with playing fetch as long as you have two balls she doesn't like to put the first one down till she sees you ready to throw the next ball. She likes to cuddle and likes kids we had ten kids at the house that were my son's age and under (9 years and less) and she was having a blast. She comes sits stays and shakes - So she does have some good recall. This is their experience.

Story
Cowgirl is a smaller Australian Cattle Dog. She is used to being inside and outside. She enjoys walks along the river, car rides and getting all the treats. She could stand to lose some weight. She is smart, obedient, friendly and playful. She has not been around a cat, so we don't know how that would go. She does know sit, shake and lay down.
