Story
Looking for a loyal companion? Meet Mama Angel! She might be your new best friend! This beautiful, bouncy, black beauty weighs 50 pounds and is approximately 2 years old. She is being fostered in Houston, Texas (we transport across the USA) with dogs 7-120 pounds, male and female, and is a favorite of the dog pack. She isn’t a HUGE player, but she does LOVE to run and chase with her 12 pound foster sister. They are so cute to watch, zooming around the house and bouncing from couch to couch. It is like watching a game of hide and seek that you can’t help laughing at. Even though Mama Angel is dog friendly, she would love to be the queen of the house, so we are adopting her out as an only dog. She wants to keep her toys and people to herself! Do not adopt her if you prefer to sit on the couch to drink your coffee alone or watch TV. Every morning when her foster mom comes downstairs she greets her like she has been gone for weeks. She bounces around, wags her tail and wiggles her bottom then races her to the couch to claim her spot next to foster mom while she enjoys her cup of coffee. Evenings after dinner are no different- or anytime Angel thinks her humans are headed to the couch. She loves to sniff your face and stare into your eyes. Angel doesn’t mind going in her crate. We just tell her to “get in bed”, toss in a treat and she will go right in. Once in the crate she is quiet until she hears you come home. Then she makes sure you know she is ready to see you! Potty trained? Yes! She hasn’t had any accidents in her foster’s house where she goes out on a regular schedule. Car rides… Yes! Her foster family had to work on building her confidence so she can go to new places. She is still a little nervous in loud busy environments and will stick close to her people but she has gotten so much better so fast. She needs a family who will continue to help her know she is safe outside the home. She is great on a leash when she is comfortable and in a quiet place like the park. Cat friendly? She does not live with cats, but she has met cats and did not seem interested. If you have a feline in your life we can have her spend more time with a cat to see how she does. If you are looking for a furry angelic love bug to add to your life, apply below and a foster coordinator will reach out to you. Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/662bdecbfded62e22b0dad21 Please email Jodi@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $750 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Rip is a little over a year old and is a very sweet boy. We adopted him when he was 9 weeks old. Due to an illness in our family, Rip is not getting the attention or time that he needs and has become a bit destructive. He is very smart and learns quickly, but he doesn’t do well when he is left to his own devices. I have 2 small children and he is absolutely amazing with them. He was around other dogs as up until February (our family moved), and he showed no signs of aggression towards them. He loved playing with his friends. Cats are an unknown, but he really doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.

Story
Meet Kage, the ultimate good boy who's just so darn cute! This gentleman is a pro at house living, fully potty trained, and a master at walking on a leash and harness. He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and loving those backyard playdates with his pals. Kage is a stunning mix of Lab and Border Collie, the perfect blend of intelligence and family-friendliness. He's just the right size, like a mini Lab or a slightly larger Border Collie. When you find two fantastic things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, you celebrate! Kage is that winning combo, and now you can celebrate by making him a cherished member of your family. His temperament is pure gold - sweet as honey with everyone he meets. Now, here's the scoop: Kage is a special needs pup, and he's looking for someone who can be with him about 90 percent of the time. Storms, rain, and loud noises send him into severe panic attacks, and he's been known to chew through walls when anxiety strikes. Crates aren't his jam because of past storm-related trauma. He's also dealing with seizures, so he's on medication for that. Kage would thrive in a local adoption, and he's best as a single dog with no cats or small animals around. He's a wonderful companion for older kids, and he loves nothing more than cuddles and long walks. He's got the whole house training thing down too. His foster mom adores him and has prepared him for his forever family as best she can. Now, the ball is in your court. Remember, when you adopt Kage, you're not just bringing home a good boy; you're giving him the loving, understanding home he deserves. Don't shop, adopt, because Kage's life depends on it! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Eloise, an endearing female Border Collie mix with a heart full of love. Born around September 2, 2023, this sweet girl currently weighs 17.2 pounds and is ready to find her forever home. Eloise's journey began in a challenging way when she was found abandoned in a field at just 6 weeks old by a compassionate feral cat feeder. Luckily, she was brought to a rescue where she quickly captured the hearts of everyone she met. Her gentle nature and affectionate personality made her a favorite among volunteers and staff alike. Previously, Eloise was adopted into a loving home, but unfortunately, her presence didn't quite mesh well with their older cat. With a heavy heart, her family made the difficult decision to return her to the rescue, knowing that she deserved a harmonious environment where she could thrive. Eloise is described as very sweet, albeit a bit shy initially. Once she feels comfortable, her warmth and charm shine through, making her a delightful companion. She's already mastered potty training and now effortlessly uses a doggy door. Could your home be the perfect match for Eloise's gentle spirit? If you're ready to open your heart and home to this loving pup, you can apply for Eloise at www.adoggie4you.org. Her adoption fee is $300, which includes all her vaccinations, spaying, and a microchip. Don't miss out on the opportunity to make Eloise a cherished member of your family—she's eagerly waiting to meet you This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. Story
My name is Loki. I am intelligent, energetic and looking for someone with a fenced yard. I enjoy playing in the sprinkler, stealing socks and learning new things. I enjoy the wading pool. I know how to sit at the door if I need to potty. I also know sit, laydown, drop it, kennel, up, down, and shake. I am a puppy. I will require further training and reinforced nap times. If I don't continue to learn about naps and kennels, then I will have no off button later in life. I am joyful and ready to explore with a new family.
