Meet Edward, an eight week old Border Collie/Shepherd mix that was part of a litter of eleven found on the side of the road. We aren't saying they were dumped... But we would sure like to know how this group of pups found themselves in such a predicament. The entire litter is very friendly and seem to really enjoy human companionship. Edward is currently a little over ten pounds and was a very sweet boy during his photoshoot, wanting all the love rather than treats or to look at the camera! Please remember that Edward is a puppy and puppy behavior comes with the package. They need basic training and potty training along with being provided chew toys to encourage proper chewing habits. All puppies require socializing from a young age to help them become the best, most well-rounded dog they can be.This pet is available for adoption on 5/10/2024 at 4:34 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854.If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Sunday, that's right we are open all days of the week! A Picture says 1000 words...right? He is on the timid side but is already warming up to the staff.
