Meet Lux, a six-year-old Border Collie mix weighing 83 pounds.Lux is a handsome Border Collie mix with a gentle soul, unique mismatched eyes, and a heart full of love to share.This sweet boy came to us needing a little extra care. Lux is currently overweight, and helping him safely lose weight will be an important part of giving him a healthier, happier life. A more comfortable weight will help him enjoy walks, playtime, and all the adventures that come with being a dog.Lux also has a beautiful long coat that will need regular brushing and grooming to keep it healthy and prevent painful matting from returning. His future family should be prepared to keep up with his coat care so he can stay comfortable and looking his best.Despite the changes he`s been through, Lux is a very sweet and gentle dog. He can be a little unsure at first and has a submissive personality, but once he starts feeling comfortable, his affectionate side comes out. He loves to snuggle, will gently nudge you with his nose for attention, and enjoys being close to his people.Border Collies are known for being intelligent, loyal, and active dogs who thrive when they have both mental and physical enrichment.
