Story
Meet Toby — the sweetest little ball of fur you could ever hope to meet! Toby is the perfect size for snuggling up on the couch or curling into your arms, and he absolutely shines when it comes to gentle affection. Toby is a bit shy at first, but he’s growing his confidence more and more every single day. With a little patience and reassurance, he warms up beautifully once he knows he’s safe—and when he does, you’ll see just how loving and sweet he truly is. He already knows how to sit, is potty trained, and is crate trained, making him an easy and well-mannered companion. At his foster home, he’s also bravely working on conquering the stairs and making great progress! This sweet little guy may need a calm, understanding home that will give him the time he needs to come out of his shell, but the reward is more than worth it. Toby has so much love to give and will make a wonderful, loyal companion for someone willing to let him move at his own pace. Toby is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $600 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Toby is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. He is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Meet Buddy! This high-energy guy is ready to work! He would love to live out the border-collie dream; lots of fields to run and things to herd. Buddy prefers to stay busy, and playing fetch and tug-of-war also help fill his days. He does not mind other animals, but thinks everything needs to be herded (which some other friends might not tolerate). He has lived well with older kids, but can be a bit sensitive when meeting new people. If you want to help shape this handsome boy into the working partner you need, come meet Buddy today!

Story
We adopted Tucker in June he is an awesome dog!! Pros: He loves kids and retrieving the ball and hiking. He's sweet not a mean bone in his body. He hangs out in the back yard with kids all day and loves the attention. They dress him up and take him on walks. He doesnt wander off our 6 acres and doesn't seem to really demand a lot of excerize He is the perfect dog! Cons: He is attacking my my live stock and our little dogs. I've tried everything. He is super territorial and when I arrive home he wants to be the first one to say hi and if my cow or the little dogs are in his eye shot he will attack them. Its like a jealousy thing is all I can think and it seems to only be around moving vehicles!?!? We are really afraid he is going to accidentally going to hurt one of them. This breaks our hearts but he needs a only dog home where he is the star of the show.

Story
Goose is a 4 year old rescue. He has always been the center of my wife and I’s life but now that we have a newborn in the picture we realize that we are not able to provide the exercise and attention his breed mix requires. We think it would be more fair to offer him to a home that is looking for a constant companion and exercise buddy. He is intelligent, athletic, and obedient, but can become anxious without exercise and has separation anxiety from being a rescue. If you are looking for a best friend and hiking buddy, Goose is the perfect dog. Like most dogs with his breed mix, Goose can be prone to some negative behaviors if he can’t regularly stretch his legs. He recently had ACL surgery September 2025 and has fully recovered, but is something to keep in mind. We are saddened by needing to part ways with Goose, but we know he will make someone out there very happy.
