Story
Meet Toby — the sweetest little ball of fur you could ever hope to meet! Toby is the perfect size for snuggling up on the couch or curling into your arms, and he absolutely shines when it comes to gentle affection.
Toby is a bit shy at first, but he’s growing his confidence more and more every single day. With a little patience and reassurance, he warms up beautifully once he knows he’s safe—and when he does, you’ll see just how loving and sweet he truly is. He already knows how to sit, is potty trained, and is crate trained, making him an easy and well-mannered companion. At his foster home, he’s also bravely working on conquering the stairs and making great progress!
This sweet little guy may need a calm, understanding home that will give him the time he needs to come out of his shell, but the reward is more than worth it. Toby has so much love to give and will make a wonderful, loyal companion for someone willing to let him move at his own pace.
Toby is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $600 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Toby is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. He is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
