Story
My story is both heart-warming and heartbreaking, but I'm glad I found my way back to the rescue organization that can help me find the forever home I deserve. I can be a gentle and loyal companion who simply craves the love and attention that every dog deserves. Despite the neglect I experienced in my previous home,I have adjusted well since being returned to the rescue. My shyness and caution around men is understandable, but with the right patience and care, I'm confident I will blossom into a wonderful family member. Here are a few key points about you that stand out: I am a loyal and humble companion who appreciates the simple things in life, like gentle pats and a calm voice. I may be a bit shy at first, but will warm up to people and become the heart of the home. I would do best in a quiet, loving environment, and would make a great match for older children or a veteran looking for a furry friend. Despite the neglect in my past, I have adjusted well since being returned to the rescue.  I truly believe that with the right forever family who is willing to give me the time, patience, and love I deserve, I will flourish. I have so much to offer, and I hope to find that special someone who can provide me with the forever home I've been searching for.  Please fill out an application for me at www.fureverdogdenver.com, if you have any questions or would like to meet me, please call 720 588-6809. ##2096191##

All Aboard!!! Animal Rescue Passenger Splenda Waiting for a Forever Home! ADOPTION FEE: $450 Meet Splenda: This adorable girl is so sweet. She will require some extra patience as it is obvious she was not cared for very well in her previous life. She has made her way to Colorado for a better life and all the love. She has been fostered with dogs of all sizes and has done well! From Their Previous Shelter: Playgroup and snuggles - https://youtube.com/shorts/ClQ6Qab7f54?feature=share Playgroup - https://youtube.com/shorts/T3e_ge-apkU?feature=share Getting pets - https://youtube.com/shorts/gAfjWmS1xD0?feature=share Playgroup - https://youtube.com/shorts/9G40Yjc3Jdk?feature=share Zooming around with big and small dogs - https://youtube.com/shorts/lV5agbPcz5I?feature=share With big and small dogs - https://youtube.com/shorts/lii9pzaWTag?feature=share Sweet like her name, Splenda is a gentle and dainty 1-year-old Cattle Dog mix who’s just 31 pounds of pure love. She arrived as an unclaimed stray, and it’s clear she didn’t have much affection in her past — but she’s now learning what it truly means to be cared for and cherished in her foster home. She even sleeps quietly through the night and greets with gentle kisses now. Splenda is a true dog’s dog who feels most confident and happy around other pups, big or small. She’s incredibly gentle, submissive, and sweet, and would thrive in a home with another friendly dog (or two!) to show her the ropes and share her days. She absolutely loves the company of other dogs and blossoms with canine companionship. This lovely girl is potty trained, crate trained, and sleeps quietly through the night. She knows how to use a dog door and enjoys a good mix of exploring, lounging in the sunshine, and following her people around to see what they’re up to. Every day she gains more confidence and learns that love is safe and good. With her soft tail wags, sweet smile, and tender heart, Splenda is ready for a calm, loving forever home where patience and kindness will help her continue to bloom. She deserves cozy dog beds, gentle hands, and the warmth of true belonging — for the rest of her life. 🌸🐾 Interested in this furry companion? This playful, water-loving goofball is as sweet as she is spirited — the perfect blend of adventure buddy, best friend, and loyal companion.
