Story
Peabody's journey began when he was discovered as a stray, wandering the streets alone. After spending five days in "doggie jail," he found his way to the rescue  in search of a loving forever home. This charming pup is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations, ready to embark on the next chapter of his life. Described as a good boy with a heart full of love and energy, Peabody thrives in the company of an active family who can provide him with plenty of attention and playtime. He's adept at navigating the ins and outs of home life, being house, crate, and doggie door trained. While he hasn't been tested with cats, he's known to get along well with female dogs. However, Peabody does have a tendency to engage in fence fights with other dogs in his vicinity, which may require some training and supervision to manage. Despite this challenge, his affectionate nature shines through, making him a delightful companion for the right family. Since October of 2022, Peabody has been patiently waiting for his perfect match at the rescue, eager to find a forever home where he can shower his new family with love and joy. ##1563395##

Story
My story is both heart-warming and heartbreaking, but I'm glad I found my way back to the rescue organization that can help me find the forever home I deserve. I can be a gentle and loyal companion who simply craves the love and attention that every dog deserves. Despite the neglect I experienced in my previous home,I have adjusted well since being returned to the rescue. My shyness and caution around men is understandable, but with the right patience and care, I'm confident I will blossom into a wonderful family member. Here are a few key points about you that stand out: I am a loyal and humble companion who appreciates the simple things in life, like gentle pats and a calm voice. I may be a bit shy at first, but will warm up to people and become the heart of the home. I would do best in a quiet, loving environment, and would make a great match for older children or a veteran looking for a furry friend. Despite the neglect in my past, I have adjusted well since being returned to the rescue.  I truly believe that with the right forever family who is willing to give me the time, patience, and love I deserve, I will flourish. I have so much to offer, and I hope to find that special someone who can provide me with the forever home I've been searching for.  Please fill out an application for me at www.fureverdogdenver.com, if you have any questions or would like to meet me, please call 720 588-6809. ##2096191##

Story
Mary arrived at our rescue partner as a stray with her puppy, Harold! Momma is now ready for adoption herself! New note from her foster: " Meet Mary! Mary is a lover and a hunter, fond of cuddling as well as playing tug-of-war and fetch. Over the past few months, she has worked on becoming accustomed to other dogs and, while she is picky about her dog friends, she has made a couple and has made good progress at tolerating nearby pups. She is highly intelligent, loyal, and trusting towards her caretaker. She is fully crate and bathroom trained and will let the caretaker know when it is time to go. She enjoys both roaming the house and backyard without reacting to dogs beyond the windows or fence. In the past few months, she has encountered cats, children, and cleaning equipment with great interest! While she finds desires to play with cats, they simply seem to run. She is very accepting and calm around even toddlers, whom she greatly enjoys receiving pats from. She even finds little interest in cleaning equipment from lawn mowers to vacuums to brooms. Mary is eager to train, learn new tricks, and explore new places while on walks. She is excitedly awaiting the day she can embark on her next adventure with a new owner! Older note from her foster: "Mary has been doing great! She loves to go on walks and stays right by your side. She's a big snuggle bug and has to be right next to you wherever you are. She is a little weary of men but warms up pretty quick. She's so perfect! Meet Scooby and Sully! These adorable babies are ready to find their forever homes! From Scooby's Foster: " Scooby aka Scoobs is such a sweet boy! Story
Meet Hashbrown and Espresso! Hashbrown is the cattle dog and Espresso is the little terrier who likes to use Hashbrown as a bed! This adorable bonded pair came into our rescue partner separately as strays on the same day, but with how quickly they bonded in their foster home it's totally possible they were buddies who just got separated prior to being brought in! We would love for these two sweet babies to be adopted together. Hashbrown is easy going, loves pools and splash pads, and gets along with everyone she meets! She has done well with large and small dogs and LOVES getting attention. She has done great with her potty training and even learned the doggy door! Please note that sweet Hashbrown is currently experiencing a medical condition that prevents her jaw from opening more than a couple of centimeters. She can take small treats and eats a lot of wet food at the moment. She is going to be evaluated by a specialist and receive medical care prior to being adopted.
