Yip yip! Appa is soaring in to say hello, and become your new best friend! This handsome man is one of a kind, full of personality guaranteed to keep you entertained! Appa has an amazing start on his manners, and is quick to learn! He has a great start on house training and can sit on cue like nobody's business. He does need some help refining his puppy behavior, and would do well in a patient home that is understanding of his quirks! He prefers to be the only kiddo in the house, and will need to go to an adult only home. Appa has had a great time meeting some puppy pals while he has been here, and an even better time meeting some people! Story
Teddy was dumped at an overcrowded shelter with his siblings at just a few weeks old.  Within a few days of being at the shelter the pups came down with parvo and only two of them ended up surviving.  Teddy and his brother Moet are the two lucky survivors.  Once they had to recovered we were able to transfer them to Brighter Days so they could socialze and get out of the shelter environment.   Teddy and Mort have been here for a couple weeks now and are doing AMAZING!  Mort was the runt of the litter and is literally half the size of his brother, Teddy.  Each day their fur gets a little lighter and the brindle color is really starting to come out!  Mort and Teddy are great little pups.  They get along great with the fosters dogs and all the humans in the home - including the little kiddos.  Mort is a little more reserved with his small size, and Teddy loves to follow his fosters around the house all the time.  They both recently experienced the snow and were zooming around in it.  Right now they are both sleeping in a crate at night and are doing well.  They are learning to sit and be great little companions.  We think Mort and Teddy would love to go to homes with other dogs to play with but would also be okay without another dog if their human has lots of time to spend with them and is active enough to get them out and about daily.   If you are interested in adopting Teddy or Mort, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##1953828##

Story
Dylan and her two sisters, Natalee and Alex, found themselves at an overcrowded shelter in Oklahoma at just 6 weeks old.  Poor babies were absolutely terrified and confused.  The shelter asked us if we could take them into our rescue, and of course we couldn't say no to these adorable fluffballs. Dylan is the biggest one at almost 20lbs.  We are guessing she will be about 40-55lbs when full grown.  We don't know their breeds at all, but we are guessing maybe a collie or a chow or pyrenees or Shepherd.  Honestly it's hard to tell, but we hope their forever family does a breed DNA test so we can find out!  Dylan has more energy and goofiness.  She loves to follow her foster Momma around the house with lots of curiosity with whats happening around her. She is snuggly and very loving.  She loves to play with her siblings and romp around exploring and have a good time.  We have learned Dylan and her siblings are obsessed with water, so we hope they go to a forever family who will take them on Colorado adventures where they can play in the water while also exploring.  Dylan would do great having having a four-legged sibling to play with but would also be okay as an only dog as long as she gets exercise and mental stimulation with her humans. Story
Peabody was found as a stray and after his 5 days in doggie jail he was brought to the rescue to find him a loving family.  He is neutered, microchipped and current on shots.  He is a good boy that would love an active family to give him a job and play with him.  He is house and crate trained.   He has not been tested with cats and has not spent much with other dogs.  He does fence fight with the other dogs in his area.  He has been at the resuce since October of 2022. ##1563395##

Story
Hi, I'm Dakotah! I'm a very sweet and beautiful girl looking for a family to love. I am so gentle, smart, brave, and loyal. I bond very easily and will follow you everywhere to keep you safe. While I warm up to people right away, I need a little time to settle into new surroundings. I am learning to trust the world again, and can be afraid of loud noises and activities like being brushed. I just need a little time and reassurance...and treats! Despite being timid, I will always seek affection from my humans. I am very food motivated and know commands like sit and down - my foster family thinks I may know even more! I do not like being in a crate, but I am potty trained and do very well in the home. Once I settle in, my sass and determination will shine. I am vocal to tell you if I need to go potty...or sometimes to demand some snuggles. I am curious and love to go on walks and be outside. I walk very well on a leash, and am quite athletic despite my age. I love to cuddle on the couch, and insist on being by your side throughout the night. I love gentle face pets, nuzzles, and kisses. If you're looking for a perfect girl to warm your heart and bring you joy, come meet me!
