Please follow our Instagram that showcases our available Hound dogs! @ppr_homeless_hounds Please follow our Instagram that showcases our available Hound dogs! @ppr_homeless_hounds and his own Instagram! @Nathan_the_Hound Whats up? My name is Marty Mcfly and I am a hound dog! I was rescued from a hound transport collaboration through Operation Helping Hounds. I am from back east, so I talk with a little bit of an accent when I bark. I get along with other dogs really well, and would do best in a home with another confident dog. I am learning to walk well on a leash and I would do best in an active household who is willing to give me the structure, consistency and love that I so deserve. I am currently in training, so I can be the best dog ever for you! I love other dogs, and playing is one of my favorite past times. i am already making leaps and bounds!! Consider taking a chance on me and making me part of your home, forever. I am being trained with No Bull Rehab, and they will follow up with my training. You will get a free assessment class with your adoption to help find a training plan. If you are interested in meeting me email us at info@pricelesspetrescue.org and we will schedule a meeting, or fill out an adoption application for me.

Jericho is a handsome coonhound that came to us from Kentucky River Regional Animal Shelter. He's about 3 years old and still has some puppy energy. Jericho is just the spunkiest, friendly guy ready to join your home! He gets along very well with other dogs and has been so sweet with everyone he meets! Jericho would love to be his owner's adventure buddy! Could that be you? Then he is your guy!

Story
Hello! My friends and I were rescued from Back East where Hounds, Beagles, and some other hunting breeds are euthanized in rural shelters. Unfortunately, we get dumped after hunting season ends or our owners just don't want to care for us anymore. I was likely hit by a car and resulted in needing a FHO surgery on my back leg. I was in need of surgery. I got the much needed surgery, and I am now recovering in foster. I would love a home who understands I need a little recovery time as I am starting to use my back leg again but I cannot wait to find a home to call my own. From Pluto's foster family: "Pluto is an amazing dog who loves all people. He will approach you with a nose nuzzle asking for affection and is very gentle. He walks well on a leash, has almost perfected "sit, and does not jump up on people. Pluto loves meal time and chewy treats. He is great around cats and is curious around dogs, but has not been observed during free play with other pups. Pluto had hip surgery and his back leg shakes when he's standing but that doesn't stop him from running and enjoying active walks. He had the end of his tail amputated as a result of happy tail syndrome. He's such a happy go lucky guy that his tail never stops wagging. :) Pluto is house trained and will stand at our back door when he needs to go out. When left home alone, he can display some separation anxiety behaviors, like chewing, so he is always crated when home alone. Pluto is a sweet, loving, wonderful dog who will make his forever family so happy." Come check my friends and I out, you won't regret it! Please follow @ppr_homeless_hounds where all our adoptable Hounds and Beagles are showcased!

Ruth, oh Ruth! She is a 5 year old TWC and do they come sweeter than Ruth? She has made friends with every person and dog that she has met while in our care. She is an energetic girl but does know when it is time to chill out and watch some Tv! Ruth is a sweet Southern girl who came all the way from Kentucky to find her forever family. She enjoys going for walks and playing outdoors in our play yard with other friendly dogs. She's never met a person she didn't like and is just as friendly with new dog friends. She is ready to join her family with a lifetime of love to give! Come check her out, we know you won't regret it! From one of her favorite Priceless Pets Volunteers: "Ruth is a very sweet girl with lots of energy and enjoys long walks!"

Story
Laney is an 8 year old black and tan hound. He certainly has the hound bay! This boy is a climber and a jumper, but don't let that scare you. He's a big ol' teddy bear who needs the right kind of love and attention from his forever home.  He just wants the love and an opportunity for exercise.  Laney loves treats and a good ear scratch, along with walks, since he is a jumper, putting him outside in your backyard, you would have to constantly supervise him until he gets to know you and you all build trust.   Please find our applications and valuable information under  'Adopt a dog'* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Please email us for an appointment and include your application (found on our website, beaglesandbuddies.com, under "Forms"). Most appointments will be Friday through Sunday, though other days may also be available. We usually schedule one appointment per hour. Allow 1-2 hours for your appointment. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
A lovely, good natured dog, rescued as a stray from the streets of the Inland Empire. No collar, No ID, No microchip and NO owner searching for her. She has since been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She gets along we'll with other dogs, is playful, sociable and enjoys the company of humans. She is a low maintenance dog, meaning she is not demanding. And, she is crate trained. For additional information, call Lydia at 714-357-8405. ----Please do NOT call to ask if this puppy is available for adoption. If this listing is still posted then we are still accepting applications. Please read the narrative in it's entirety. Please note our adoption procedures are explained in GREAT DETAIL BELOW. READ, READ, READ. Thank You. . . . . The best match will be selected and contacted to confirm an appointment at Petsmart in Yorba Linda on Saturday between noon and 3 pm or on a mutually agreeable day, time and place. We do not do out-of-state adoptions for puppies and we cannot hold puppies; please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. The adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, core vaccinations including rabies and 4 sets of distemper/parvo and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc. The adoption fee for a puppy is generally $495 - $525. Puppies are not house-trained although they may have begun crate-training and/or potty pad training in their foster home, depending on their age. House-training is a process that will need to be completed by their adopter. Puppies, if left unsupervised and not redirected will develop negative behaviors such as using the restroom in the wrong place, chewing, barking, whining, etc. Please be sure to do research on raising a puppy and be sure that you are prepared to do so. This is a great article from 3LostDogs that explains the trials and tribulations of puppyhood: http://3lostdogs.com/things-wish-everyone-knew-before-they-get-dog-2/
