Chippy is a 6-month-old Afghan Hound puppy who weighed 38 pounds last time he was weighed and is still growing! He is expected to reach 50–60 pounds when fully grown. This goofy, fun-loving boy is sure to keep you smiling with his silly puppy antics. Chippy loves playing with toys, romping around with other dogs, and is always ready for his next adventure. Like any young puppy, Chippy is still working on his house training and crate training. He's highly food motivated, which makes him eager to learn and should make training a rewarding experience. Chippy gets along wonderfully with other dogs, though he doesn't always realize just how big he is! He also does well with cats. Because he is not yet comfortable walking on a leash, Chippy REQUIRES a securely fenced yard where he can safely exercise and explore. Sighthound experience preferred. I am not in a position to care for him long-term so I’m looking to get him rehomed and a family that can love and support him the way he deserves. If you choose to adopt Bronx, he will come with all the things that I bought for him as well as three months worth of his food from The Farmer’s Dog.
