Mazzie's mama came into our rescue and had her puppies while in our care, and now this adorable girl is ready to start the next chapter of her life. 💗 Mazzie is super sweet, smart, and loves everyone she meets. She has a wonderful, friendly personality and is the kind of puppy who will happily make friends wherever she goes. Her mom is a hound mix, and we think her dad may have been a Lab. Based on her current size and mix, we expect Mazzie to grow to approximately 40–45 pounds full grown. She’s still just a baby, so she’ll need a family ready for all the fun, learning, puppy antics, and love that come with raising a young pup. Looking for a show-stopping partner-in-crime? Meet Chippy, an 8 month old ~50 lb Afghan Hound. He is a big, gorgeous, INCREDIBLY soft and happy boy, and he can’t wait to find his forever family! He is incredibly sweet, and though all that fluff in the Georgia heat might stop him from being the most cuddly boy, he loves to be near his people. He’s incredibly goofy, and always ready with a happy grin and mischief to be made. He loves every toy he comes across, dipping his toes in water, running around with other playful dogs, a comfy couch, and stealing your shoes… not necessarily in that order. Chippy is doing great with house-training when taken outside regularly, and he sleeps well in a crate through the night! He is taking to leash walking very well, but will need to continue to work on this in his forever home. At this time, he does REQUIRE a fenced in yard as leash walks alone are not enough for this busy boy! Sighthound experience preferred. If no experience, please ensure you have researched this particular breed. We do not operate on a first come, first serve basis and will select a home based on what we deem is the best match for him. If you think you can give this boy the running space, all the toys, and the regular coat upkeep he deserves, please reach out! Sylvie is a gorgeous 2-year-old, 50 lb Afghan Hound who has been officially declared “a certified good girl” by our vet, and who are we to argue? Unlike some Afghans who prefer to admire their people from afar, Sylvie loves attention and will happily come over to request some affection. She enjoys a good sprint around the yard, then comes right back to check in with her favorite person. Walks, toys, playtime, and simply hanging out together are all high on her list of favorite activities. True to her Afghan nature, Sylvie is smart, curious, and always looking for fun. She can be a little mischievous in her quest for a good time, but her playful personality is sure to keep you laughing. She learns quickly, though, like any independent thinker, she may occasionally decide she has a better idea than the one you had! Sylvie is crate trained, doing well with house training, and walks nicely on leash. She has lived with other dogs, but would be happiest as an only dog or in a home with only large male dogs. No cats. If you're looking for a beautiful, clever, affectionate companion with a playful streak and plenty of personality, Sylvie may be your perfect match. Sighthound experience preferred.
