Meet Sadie! Sadie may be one of the most loving dogs you’ll ever meet. She has a special way of choosing “her people” and forming deep bonds with them. Sadie loves curling up on the sofa right next to her person and feeling connected to them. She’s also one of the happiest dogs you’ll ever meet. Sadie’s tail is almost always wagging, and she loves expressing her personality by talking. She doesn’t even mind that we don’t know what she’s saying! If you’re looking for a companion who connects wholeheartedly and loves deeply, Sadie is ready to meet you and make both your dreams come true.

Story

Hi there! My name is Caramel! I am a 6-year-old Coonhound mix. I was brought into the shelter as a stray. The staff here are still learning things about me because I'm being tight lipped about my life before the shelter. I am very sweet, just not doing so well in the kennel environment. I'd most likely do better in a home where I do not have to stay inside all day. I am a fairly independent boy and would most likely explore my surroundings a lot. I do come and get pets sometimes, just not always. That could change the more comfortable I get with you and the new surroundings. I am okay with dogs, I'm interested but I give off more dominant vibes, so with that being said, we are going to ask that you bring any canine family members with you just to make sure we get along. Also, please bring any children along too, can't leave the little humans out of this either. So, if you're interested in a more independent but loving dog, come visit me at the Cherokee County Animal Shelter any day. I look forward to meeting you and possibly finding me furever home!
