Story
Meet Sadie! Sadie may be one of the most loving dogs you’ll ever meet. She has a special way of choosing “her people” and forming deep bonds with them. Sadie loves curling up on the sofa right next to her person and feeling connected to them. She’s also one of the happiest dogs you’ll ever meet. Sadie’s tail is almost always wagging, and she loves expressing her personality by talking. She doesn’t even mind that we don’t know what she’s saying! If you’re looking for a companion who connects wholeheartedly and loves deeply, Sadie is ready to meet you and make both your dreams come true.

Story
Meet Janice! Janice is an estimated 8-year-old Blue Tick Hound mix with a gentle heart and soulful eyes. Rescued from a high-kill shelter, this lovely girl is now safe and ready to experience the love she’s always deserved. Sweet & Gentle Soul Janice has the calm, loving nature that only comes with experience. She’s incredibly sweet, affectionate, and enjoys the simple things in life—like a soft bed, kind words, and a good belly rub. Friendly & Easygoing Weighing around 50 pounds, Janice gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has a calm, social demeanor. She’s the kind of dog who fits right in—happy to stroll by your side or relax nearby. Resilient & Loving It’s clear Janice has had a tough past; she’s had puppies before and was likely used for breeding. But despite it all, her spirit remains full of love and trust. She’s proof that rescue dogs know how to love the deepest. Ready for Her Forever Home Janice is looking for a kind, patient family who will cherish her for the amazing companion she is. In return, she’ll offer endless loyalty, warmth, and gratitude—every single day. Come meet Janice and see how this beautiful hound will steal your heart! ##2564625##

Story
Meet Benetton! Benetton is a 10-month-old Redbone Coonhound mix with luxurious deep red coat. He may have had a rough start, but he is officially ready to find his forever home! Benny is a bit shy at first, but don't let that fool you. He is discovering what love feels like for the first time, and he likes it. He’s becoming more affectionate by the hour. He hasn't met a human he doesn't like and he wants to be best friends with every dog he meets. Since he's likely never lived indoors, he is working hard on his potty training and learning how to relax inside. He is already a crate-training pro and is picking up leash walking like a total champ. Benny is a gentle boy who just needs a little patience. He’s looking for a family who will continue his training and show him that the world is a kind place. If you have a toy box and some room on your couch (and in your heart), Benny might be your perfect match! Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
