Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet darling puppy Harriet, lovingly known as Harry — a beautiful 9-month-old female Coonhound with the gentlest soul imaginable. Though she was born into the world of hunting dogs, Harry’s heart was never meant for hunting. Living alongside a pack of hunting dogs, she showed no interest in chasing, hurting, or killing other animals. Instead, Harry proved herself to be something far more special: kind, peaceful, affectionate, and full of love. Because she refused to hunt, her former owner decided she had no value to him. At just 9 months old, Harry’s life was nearly taken simply because she would not become the hunting dog he wanted. She was also forced to spend most of her young life outdoors, treated as a tool instead of the loving companion she truly is. Even after deciding she was “useless,” her owner would not even help transport her to safety. Thankfully, a compassionate relative stepped in before it was too late and gave Harry the chance she deserved. When we got her she was covered in woodticks, clearly this pup has had poor care in her short life. No more!!! We will never understand how anyone can discard an innocent animal simply for being gentle. Harry’s story is heartbreaking, but it is also a story of survival, compassion, and hope. Despite everything she has endured, Harry remains incredibly loving and trusting. She is soft-hearted, calm, and sweet beyond words. She does not want to hunt — she wants to be loved. Harry would much rather curl up beside her people, enjoy a warm bed, and finally experience life as part of a family instead of being left outside to fend emotionally on her own. In a short 24 hours she has learned the love of getting belly rubs with her foster mom who says she is so very sweet and gentle.  Harry will never again be forced to hunt for someone’s approval. She is not a killer; she is a lover. Now she is searching for a home that sees her true worth — not for what she refused to do, but for the beautiful soul she is. If you are looking for a loyal, gentle companion with endless love to give, Harry may just be your perfect match. www.uniteddobermanrescue.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.United Doberman Rescue Adoption Process Application Submission: Complete the adoption application thoroughly. A fitting name for this endearing young puppy. She'll soar into your heart once you meet her. She is a happy girl, ready to play with the other pups, showing off her moves. Be first in line to see Ari and make her your very own "eagle."

The puppy rehome fee is $600 plus tax. This rehome fee includes initial vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter expenses. We need to make sure these dogs go to stable homes and families dedicated to providing the care that they need. Breeze is appropriately named because she is a breeze to take care of. Looking at her, though, you can see a sweet girl who would follow you around the house. When outside she'd be ready to play retrieve the ball or be ready to find a good stick to chew on. She'd also be a good walking companion or a good swimmer if you were near a lake. She could chase the ducks, dive for more sticks, just enjoy the summer with you. Start making plans because once you meet her, you'll know that she is meant for you.
