Story
Rusty is a 1 1/2 year old Coon Hound/German Shepard Mix. He has been with us for a little over three months. His previous owners were struggling with housing issues and could no longer care for him, so my wife and I took him in. He has done well with our two cats and little terrier, but he has had some resource guarding/territorial issues with our Golden Retriever who is similar in size. Due to those issues, the small size of our house, and having three male dogs in that small space we have decided it would be best to find him a more fitting home. He is neutered and was vaccinated for Rabies when he came to us. He is a very sweet dog and likes to be the center of attention. He can be a bit hyperactive, and is a high energy dog, so he will need regular exercise. He is still young and needs training, but we have gotten the basics to stick like sit, lay down, and stay. His original owners had young kids (ages 3-6) and he did well with them.
