Story
Jennings is an absolute sweet pea. He is a little goof. He gets along great with his foster brothers & sister (Aussie, Pitbull mix, & husky mix). He is a very sweet, but he’s a puppy so he can be rambunctious at times & benefits from redirection.He likes puzzle boxes. He has made tremendous progress with crate training. He knows “crate” & he often even goes in his crate to relax on his own. When foster mom has a conference call he will relax in there with a spiral bone or take a nap. He knows that he is just relaxing & trusts he will be back out for play & snuggles soon. He is very smart & already knows several words/ commands. He knows to go in his crate when it is time to eat.He likes going out in the yard, but he also likes walks. He is doing really great with potty training! He just needs someone to be a bit diligent at this stage when he moves to a new environment. He loves to snuggle. He can still be a timid, but it has been very special to see him grow in his comfort in the world around him. He definitely benefits from exercise, whether in the backyard or on a walk or playing with his foster siblings, but he also loves lazy evenings on the sofa watching Netflix. Meet 🤠Waylon🤠!! He's an adorable hound pup born 6/25/25 & weighs 30 lbs. He's only been with us a few days, so we're still learning about him, but here's what we know so far! He needed a day to adjust, but hasn't had any accidents since, & sleeps in his crate quietly overnight, it's even his napping spot during the day. He's quickly picking up on how to behave on a leash & a few basic commands. He's super friendly with everyone he meets, he loves them all! He's great in the car, he thinks that's nap-time. He's got a middle-of-the-road personality, not too submissive or dominant, & takes direction/corrections well from the two older dogs he shares his foster home with. He loves to chase pretty much everything, & it's no surprise his houndy nose is always to the ground searching for the next scent. He loves playtime but settles down nicely when it's over.
