Story
Meet Pretty Rosie, a sweet and gentle 4-year-old Spaniel mix with possibly some Corgi, this precious girl has a heart full of love. Weighing just 14 pounds and sporting beautiful red fur, Rosie is a slightly shy soul who’s ready to blossom in a caring forever home. Despite her past hardships, she’s a resilient girl who’s been through so much and is now looking for a family to bring her happiness and security. Rosie is house-trained, loves going for walks, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She came to us with her son Frankie. Her calm and loving nature makes her a quick learner, and she’s eager to trust and love again. She’s already spayed, micro-chipped, and fully vaccinated—just waiting for someone to open their heart. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will fill your life with joy and gentle love, Rosie might be the perfect match. Give her the chance to shine in a home where she can feel safe, loved, and cherished. Adopt Rosie and start a beautiful new chapter together! If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. Story
Mama dog and her "baby", Baby were dumped and living in a pallet yard together in Stockton, Ca. for about a month The workers reached out to a rescue and that is how they ended up here. Mama dog is so laid back. Sleeping is her favorite pastime along with our long walks. She will cuddle up right on your lap and sleep till you wake her. She gets along with the other dogs but when she's on your lap, she does not want the bigger dogs near. Mama is spayed, up to date on vaccines and ready for her forever home. I would really love to see her and her baby go together.

Story
I am looking rehomeHuey because I adopted him from the SPCA and he does not do well with my 6-year old cat. He chases her and we have not been able to stop that behavior. He is 4-years old, according to my vet, and he is up-to-date on shots, and neutered. Huey is a very sweet and docile little corgi mix. He almost never barks. He is house trained and crate-trained. He does well on a leash and in the car. Ithink he needs a very loving and mellow home. If you are interested in adopting him, there will be a $100 fee.

Story
Possum is the quiet guardian with the softest soul. He doesn’t rush, doesn’t worry, and doesn’t do drama. He calmly strolls around, checking in on everyone like he’s making sure the world is still kind. Life wasn’t always good for him but he’s incredibly gentle and as sweet as they come. If you’re lucky, he will gently kiss you on the tip of your nose once he gets to know you. Possum is looking for a loving home where he will be the center of attention and have a place in your heart. He is a wonderful, sweet dog who deserves so much love. The best possible home for Possum will be a quiet home where he and his humans can keep each other company in his golden years. Medical / Special Needs: Possum is an old man with some arthritis in his joints. He’s got some aches and pains in his body from years of neglect, so he prefers not to be picked up.

Story
Despite the darkness she came from, Charlotte, a Dachshund-Corgi mix, is one of the sweetest, most gentle souls you could ever meet. Charlotte has stolen our hearts. Despite her blindness, this hasn’t taken away her trust or her love for people — she simply leans in closer to feel it. What Charlotte wants most now is simple: a soft couch, warm belly rubs, and someone to cuddle beside while being showered with affection. She is a very special little girl who will fill a quiet home with extraordinary love. 🐾 Medical / Special Needs: Charlotte is blind, but once she maps your place, she’ll be good to go.
