Story
We adopted Viggy when she was 9 weeks old from a rescue in Missouri. She is now 11 years old as of March. Viggy is a wonderful, loyal, healthy dog who loves to snuggle, play fetch, and chew on sticks. Viggy needs a quiet home with no small children. Our home is quite chaotic with two five year olds running around and both parents working, and the constant noise and commotion of the house causes Viggy a lot of anxiety and stress. She would do well in a home with older children or just adults. Viggy is good off leash when there are no other animals around and will not run away. She loves to be right by your side at all times. She loves to sleep the majority of the day but also likes to play when it's time. Viggy is house broken and trained. She can sit, stay, come, go to her crate, roll over, and play dead. Unfortunately for us and for her, she is not thriving in our house and we would love for her to go someone who can give her the right, calm environment she needs.

I’m Manny, a 12 year old, 20 pound, male Corgi mix. I’m looking for a special home to spend my golden years. I’m very loving and get along with dogs and cats. I take my time warming up to new things. I am house trained. I am blind but get around fine and have no problem with stairs. In my past life I was very secluded and not cared for. That gave me some triggers. Well really just one — gates, any kind of gate. Because of Manny’s nervousness and past life, we will plan of multiple meetings. Also, Manny will need to be adopted within 50 miles of Flossmoor, IL. Manny is microchipped as well as up to date on vaccines, monthly preventatives. He has had a dental. Manny’s adoption fee is $150. Baxter is an exuberant young dog who loves life and seems determined to live it to the fullest. His huge brown eyes are beautiful, and his corgi-like body is graceful and athletic. He lived in a home in Mexico with another dog (Dexter) and when their owners moved, they were left inside with no food or water. Luckily, they were eventually rescued and For Good rescue opened its arms, so they were able to come here to find their forever loving homes. Baxter's ideal home would be one where he gets lots and lots of love! This dog LOVES people! He also loves other dogs and children. He has lived with cats as well. He is crate trained. Baxter is lively and engaging (perfect description of a corgi!) although he also loves to snuggle. He will lay across your lap, happy to be close, knowing he is safe.
