Story
Meet Sunny....... Sunny came to rescue as a breeder surrender. She is the absolute sweetest and most gentle girl ever. When we received the call about her we were furious!!! Yes we get several calls from breeders to retire their breeders, however when we learned her age our hearts broke for her. She has lived her life producing puppies for profit. Responsible breeding, if there is such thing.....is suppose to end at the latest of 6 years. This just tells us that the mill did not care about her and was just filling their pockets. We are thankful she was able to get out even at the age of 8 years. Sunny was dirty and covered in fleas and had sores around her neck from a chain type ID collar that was to small on her. She has been with us for well over a month now here in rescue and has of course had her bath and the freedom of just being loved and being cared for. She is a happy and loving little girl and absolutely loves to be petted and follow us around. Sunny faithfully uses her doggy door out the adopt center to go potty in her play yard. She will need a fenced yard in her new home as she has never been on a leash or even gone for a walk. Since Sunny has been with us she runs and plays and feels safe here. She has the freedom of a big fenced yard and will zoom around excited, then she comes to use for loves. She is spunky and can be playful like the typical corgi. She is also very loyal to us already. We have not had Sunny to our vet yet as we have let her settle in and just "be a dog" with no responsibilities of caring for babies being handled roughly. If there is any interest in her adoption we will at that time make it top priority to have her fully vetted. If tou are interested in the adoption of Sunny please email us to request an application.

Story
Meet Pete! He's about a year old and is a sweetie! We adopted him about 3 months ago from our local Humane Society. He is up to date on shots, neutered, and micro-chipped. He weighs 35 pound and is a Corgi/Shepard mix (or at least that's our best guess). Pete lives in a house with a toddler and there have been no issues. Pete is playful and loves to play fetch, rough house, and go on walks. He has been off leash on beaches and farm settings and has done very well. Overall, he's a really great dog with a sweet and gentle personality. We love Pete, but he does NOT get along with our cat despite many introduction attempts. He is also very athletic and can easily jump our picket fence (usually to chase a cat). If it were not for these issues, we would be keeping him. Pete will need a cat free household and taller fence around his yard. We would love to see Pete get adopted by a loving home!

Story
Stub Hub Stewie came to us from a kill shelter in Indiana where he ended up by no fault of his own. This is a nice, friendly boy who is good with people & other dogs. He is very sweet & happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 01/01/23 and he currently weighs 47# full grown. This is a sweet boy who needs a little confidence. We are guessing at his breed make up. He knows how to sit & likes to ride in the car!He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. He is also heart worm & tick born illness negative. His adoption donation is $300 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. We do not ship or transport. Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with his forever home. ##2084886##

Story
Porky is a 2 year old corgi mix. He's a very sweet, goofy, playful guy that loves to chase a ball and then curl up to cuddle. He's good with kids and dogs (not cat tested yet), and loves everyone he's ever met. This short stocky guy is just waiting to become someone's best friend. He's crate trained, mostly housebroken (likely spent a good amount of time in a shelter but keeps his crate clean), and walks well on a leash.   If you are viewing this pet's profile on Petfinder or Adopt-a-Pet,.please use the application link at the bottom of the profile to apply. Clicking the "Ask About" button does not submit an application. It only submits a question which will delay an application submission.    All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative (age 7 months and older) and microchipped. We do not ship or transport. A dog's adoption donation is $200. There is a $5 fee for credit/debit cards. Story
Hey everyone! Meet pinky! Her former name was cruella but she didn’t respond to it. A few weeks ago we were contacted by another rescue about a dog sitting at a vet clinic waiting to be euthanized by the owner. The dog was labeled as not potty trained and snapped at her owner, being a dachshund corgi mix its behavior we typically expect and can handle so we said we would take her if the vet would hang onto her for a few days. Pinky has been nothing short of the complete opposite of why she was going to be euthanized. Pinky (the reason we call her pinky is because she was bald in many places due to flea allergies and yeast infections her owner didn’t care for) has not had a single accident in her foster home or in her crate at her foster home. She has been excellent with the other dogs of all sizes, the young children, and the kitties in the home. We do believe her owner was struggling financially and had to make up excuses as to why the euthanasia was necessary, but due to pinky’s condition it was obvious she had not been cared for in a long while. Pinky is a 3 year old corgi dachshund mix and weighs about 25 pounds. She is quiet and well behaved. She LOVES men. We can’t stress it enough that pinky loves men. She does growl a little at her foster mom but nothing past a small growl but totally lights up at her foster dad and the boy children in the home. Her best fit for a home would be with a single man, or a man who does have a woman in his life that doesn’t care pinky will never prefer her, or obviously an amazing gay couple who wants a sweet neglected girl to love on who will return that love tenfold. Pinky would be an amazing fit for almost any type of home, she just prefers men over women. Adoption donation fee is $200 which it is tax-deductible and goes towards the care of homeless pets with Unchained Souls Canine Rescue. To expedite the adoption process you can send us a message at Unchained Souls Canine Rescue on Facebook to request an application or you can email us at unchainedsoulscaninerescue@yahoo.com and we will happily send you one! All Unchained Souls Canine Rescue animals are fully vetted: *Spayed/Neutered *Shots updated *Micro-chipped *Heart-worm checked and on prevention *On Flea and Tick Prevention You only need to see your vet for a “meet n greet” of your new family member and to turn in their medical records.
