Story
Meet Franny..... Franny is a 5 month old corgi puppy. She is a beautiful little girl that is ready to find her forever family. She loves other dogs and is good with everyone. Franny will need to learn to walk on a leash and the ropes of living in a home as she was previously living in a breeding facility that kept her in a kennel. She is a bit shy of human touch and love as we believe she didnt have alot of human contact. She was just kept in hopes they would sell her and when they didnt it was time to get rid of her. Unfortunately they waited until she was 5 months old until they decided to let her go. Franny will learn that she can be loved an not be scared. Corgis are VERY intelligent and learn very quickly. She does use her doggy door faithfully out the adoption center to go out to potty in her play yard. Franny is current on her vacations, deworming, heartworm and flea prevention. She has not been spayed yet as our vet does not spay until 6 months of age. She will have a spay rebate of 75.00 to help towards her spay when she is age appropriate (6 months). She will go home on a spay contract where her spay will be required to be completed. If you are interested in her adoption please text or email us to request an application.Franny will need a home that has a fenced yard to keep her safe where she can go outside to potty as she is not leash trained. Yes we know she can be trained to potty on a leash, but a fearful dog that is not currently trained on a leash only makes them more fearful and scared. An electric fence is not an option for her. Thank you for your interest in her adoption.

Story
Hey everyone! Meet pinky! Her former name was cruella but she didn’t respond to it. A few weeks ago we were contacted by another rescue about a dog sitting at a vet clinic waiting to be euthanized by the owner. The dog was labeled as not potty trained and snapped at her owner, being a dachshund corgi mix its behavior we typically expect and can handle so we said we would take her if the vet would hang onto her for a few days. Pinky has been nothing short of the complete opposite of why she was going to be euthanized. Pinky (the reason we call her pinky is because she was bald in many places due to flea allergies and yeast infections her owner didn’t care for) has not had a single accident in her foster home or in her crate at her foster home. She has been excellent with the other dogs of all sizes, the young children, and the kitties in the home. We do believe her owner was struggling financially and had to make up excuses as to why the euthanasia was necessary, but due to pinky’s condition it was obvious she had not been cared for in a long while. Pinky is a 3 year old corgi dachshund mix and weighs about 25 pounds. She is quiet and well behaved. She LOVES men. We can’t stress it enough that pinky loves men. She does growl a little at her foster mom but nothing past a small growl but totally lights up at her foster dad and the boy children in the home. Her best fit for a home would be with a single man, or a man who does have a woman in his life that doesn’t care pinky will never prefer her, or obviously an amazing gay couple who wants a sweet neglected girl to love on who will return that love tenfold. Pinky would be an amazing fit for almost any type of home, she just prefers men over women. Adoption donation fee is $200 which it is tax-deductible and goes towards the care of homeless pets with Unchained Souls Canine Rescue. To expedite the adoption process you can send us a message at Unchained Souls Canine Rescue on Facebook to request an application or you can email us at unchainedsoulscaninerescue@yahoo.com and we will happily send you one! All Unchained Souls Canine Rescue animals are fully vetted: *Spayed/Neutered *Shots updated *Micro-chipped *Heart-worm checked and on prevention *On Flea and Tick Prevention You only need to see your vet for a “meet n greet” of your new family member and to turn in their medical records.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Remington (Remi for short) was adopted by his current family when he was a young puppy, and has lived with them since; however, with the family's circumstances changing recently, his owners are now looking for a home for Remi where he will receive more attention and care then can be given him in his current home. Remi is an active, fun-loving adult dog, a Heeler/Corgi cross with behaviors typical of the herding breeds.  He is a bit nervous about new people and things -- a very typical herding breed characteristic -- but is friendly when he gets to know the person or surroundings.  He has not lived with children but has behaved well when around them; however, it would be best, given his age, that he live in a home with older children or no children.  Also, he has not been around cats, so how he might react to them is an unknown. Remi is in South Bend IN.  If you would like more information about him, or want to meet him, please contact his owner at brendakrathwohl@gmail.com  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 2:31 pm
