Fred is a very friendly, social corgi who genuinely enjoys people, kids, and other dogs. He’s affectionate, outgoing, and likes being involved in whatever is happening around him. He likes to keep tabs on his environment and feels happiest when he knows what’s going on and where everyone is. While Fred gets along well with other animals, he would truly thrive as the only pet in the home. He has a strong personality and prefers to be King of the Castle; where he can have his people’s attention without competition. A one-dog household with no cats would allow him to fully relax and shine. Fred previously lived in a country setting and is used to having more space, stimulation, and interaction. Due to a move and a full-time office schedule, he is no longer getting the time and engagement he deserves. Rehoming him is about finding a situation where he can receive consistent attention, companionship, and structure.

Story
Jade is a beautiful dog. I adopted her from a friend because the city life was not her. She loves to run and play especially outside. She gets along with my cats and other male dog. She is shy and it takes her a little bit to adjust. She is completely crate and pad trained. Her and my other female dog do not get along I have had Jade for 8 months. They have had several fights and both have gotten hurt. Jade wants to be with me and Shiloh does as well. She was with another female in her other home and they did fine. Jade needs to be fed alone. She is a truly beautiful dog. She would do best I feel as an only dog or a sibling dog that is mellow and willing to not be the center of attention. She has zero issue with kids or cats. She needs a home that she can run free in the country as she has amazing recall. If you want to adopt Jade you need to be willing to commit to working with her and spending time with her. She has all her papers.

PeeWee is a ten year old dog looking for a loving home. I got him in May because his previous owners were going to take him to a kill shelter. He is a very sweet dog who needs a home with someone with patience, he has a problem of marking his territory. He loves cuddles and hugs, and whipped cream is his favorite treat. He does well with children, and okay with other animals, probably better as a solo dog.

Tootie now goes by the name Zoey. She was adopted from Stray Haven as a baby and returned when her owners fell on hard timers and had to move to a place where they couldn't keep her. Zoey is a very good girl.  She is potty trained and calm in the house and she is good with kids, cats and dogs! If you're looking for a calm quiet companion, this could be the perfect match for you!    If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application. We are seeking a new home for our sweet dog, Otis. He is a 5-year-old Corgi. We have had Otis since he was 8 weeks old. Otis is exceptionally playful and gentle. He loves going for long walks and playing outside. He is neutered and current on vaccinations. Our family which includes two small children aged 3 years and 11 months, is struggling to keep up with his needs. Otis would be better suited to a household with no children. Otis needs an experienced dog owner who can be assertive and ‘lead the pack’ as he has a dominant personality. Otis is good with other dogs but he is food aggressive so feeding separately is a must.
