Story
We got Daisy when she was only 5 weeks old. She is good with kids (around 6 years old and up) and dogs bigger than her. She loves attention and would do best in a home that has no other dog and kids to play with. We are a family that has a dog smaller than her and 3 young kids. She seems to lose her patience with the younger kids quickly. But does give them a warning growl. The biggest issue- she does not like our other dog, who was in the home first. She loves meeting new people and running the neighborhood... and just being a common nuisance. One of the homes that she has made friends with is a taller mix (around the size of a boxer) and she was nice to him. She is potty broke and crate trained. She is friendly and loving, but does not like to share the attention in the home with another dog. Key take aways for an ideal home for her: 1. No smaller dog or dog she has to compete for attention. 2. Kids with some energy and ability to give her attention. Elementary aged and up.

Jinny is a 3.5 year old corgi/hound mix. She's roughly 40lbs and a beautiful girl. She is currently in a foster home with two dogs smaller than her. She is talkative and very playful. She seems to do well with other dogs but also likes her space from time to time. Jinny is house broken and good on a leash!  If you are viewing this pet's profile on Petfinder or Adopt-a-Pet,.please use the application link at the bottom of the profile to apply. Story
Ruby is a sweet girl, but one who does still need some training. She is high energy and would do best in a setting where she is able to run somewhat freely. She has shown some signs of aggression towards other dogs and young children so would do best in a home without either. Very much wants to be an only dog in the house who gets all the attention and love. Her birthday is 12/6/2024, so just over a year old currently. She is smart and knows some basic commands. She is also crate trained and while mostly potty trained, she needs some extra nudges to know not to go inside. We can provide her crate, a few toys, collar & leash and a small supply of dog food (if needed).

Story
Short legs. Big personality. And the most adorable head tilts you’ve ever seen! Hi! I’m Budster. I’m just over a year old, about 31 pounds, and I’m a Corgi/Husky mix. Which basically means I’m a compact little guy with a playful, goofy spirit.   I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but once I realize you’re my friend… my fun side comes out pretty quickly! Here are a few things you should know about me: I LOVE playing ball Tug of war is one of my favorite games I’ve lived with another dog before and did well I’ve done well around kids I’m the king of the cutest head tilts Cats though… I’m a little too playful and want to chase them when they run, so a home without cats would be best.   I keep my kennel clean during the day, but overnight can still be tricky sometimes. My humans here think it may be related to separation anxiety, but with patience, routine, and consistency I will likely keep improving.   I also have a genetic issue or old injury affecting my hips/hind legs. It doesn’t stop me from playing or enjoying life, but my future family should be prepared to monitor it. A joint supplement and regular veterinary care are highly recommended.   Because I can get a little nervous if someone suddenly grabs or touches that area, I would probably do best with older kids who understand being gentle, rather than babies or toddlers who might accidentally fall on me.   What I really need is someone who sees my goofy personality, playful energy, and those adorable head tilts… and decides I’m exactly the dog they’ve been looking for. Because once I trust you… I’m all in. Neutered, Heartworm & Lyme Negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee is $100.   If you are interested in meeting and adopting, please submit an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog   Once submitted our staff will review and then contact you to set up a meet and greet! If it's a match, you can take home on the same day. Any other dogs in the home must come in for a meet & greet! Some dogs may require all family members to come to the meet & greet as well! Please allow 24-36 hours for a response, depending on the business hours in which you submitted your application. We do offer a 2 week foster to adopt trial time, to be sure the chosen pet is a good fit, before finalizing the adoption!    See all of our adoptable pets here:: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/adoptable-dogs-and-cats   Adoption Hours: Monday & Saturday 11am-4pm | Tuesday & Friday 11am-5pm | Wednesday 11am-6pm  |Thursday & Sunday CLOSED ##2661453##

Story
Bruno a 1 year old corgi/aussie mix, he is an amazing dog with humans and kids. He is absolutely the sweetest but has not gotten along well with the other dog in our home. I think with some discipline he would be able to get along with another pet but we unfortunately work too much to be able to cater to his needs. He loves to play outside and is a cuddler!
