Story

Todd is a young adult corgi mix who couldn't be happier and friendlier. He loves everyone he meets: people, dogs, and cats. Despite that awesome personality and his handsome looks, he found himself at a small rural shelter facing euthanasia. He is now looking for his forever family. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. There is no medicine or daily care that he will need. This is Isaac a 2 year old, 15 pounder who was very shy at first but warmed up quickly to the other dogs and his new surroundings. He is house and crate trained, my 2nd rescue for 2024 and he is extremely close to his buddy BUZBY. He follows BUZBY around like a shadow. They have a great time running zoomies in the backyard and playing chase. They do know there is a difference between inside and outdoor play. ISAAC is quiet and gives soft kisses. He is not bothered by the other foster dogs in the home but his buddy is BUZBY and he loves him. We think he is a Pomeranian/Corgi mix, he white coat is very soft and smooth and he does not mind you giving him head rubs. ISAAC has a cherry eye but is scheduled to have it removed this week before adoption. They estimate her to be exactly 1 year old and she weighs 25 pounds. MADDIE is a very good girl who is pleasant to be around and low maintenance on a daily basis. She gets along with all of the dogs in the foster home and plays with most of them. She is so easy-going and nice. I figure she came from a home with kids in it because when she was found she had a pink marker drawing on her head, only a kid would do that. Sadly, MADDIE was abandoned in a local PetSmart here in San Antonio, TX. A lady pretending to be showing brought her in and just left her in the store to roam around. Welcome Ana to CCPAL foster/rehome program. Ana is living in Connecticut. She is a 32 pound and 5 year 8 month old Corgi/Australian Cattle Dog. She was adopted as a puppy and now is not getting along with a new Healer in the home. The Corgi part of this pup makes her more suitable for an only home. She is great in a doggy park but not fond of sharing her bed, toys or family with another live in dog. This makes miss Ana in need of a new forever home. She is an affectionate dog. She is potty trained and has good recall when called. She is an alert dog when someone is at the door or something out of place in the yard. She is adorable and will be a great companion for a family. She has been good around all people including strangers. She is currently not around a cat . Ana is a smaller dog with a larger than life personality and looks to match. She is a great walker on leash and has had some training. She is very smart. Meet Zeus, a handsome 8 year old neutered male Corgi, weighing approx. 30 lbs! Zeus was surrendered to PRL through no fault of his own, due to significant changes in his owner's living situation. He has been loved and well cared for, and the owner chose to surrender him to a rescue to ensure he would be safe and would go to a good home. Zeus is a friendly boy who does well with other dogs. He has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how he would do with cats. His previous owner has stated that he tends to be a little nervous around small children, so older children 10+ or adults only would be best. His TN foster reports that Zeus has been an easy foster and a very good boy. And he loves car rides! Zeus is medically up to date and housebroken. A 100% good doggo!
