Story
Marcy is the type of dog that makes people smile almost immediately. She has a goofy, happy personality, loves being involved in whatever you are doing, and absolutely lives for water. If there is a pond, creek, kiddie pool, or muddy shoreline nearby, Marcy will find it. Marcy is a stocky, short-legged mixed breed girl around 45 pounds full grown with a personality that balances confidence and sensitivity in a really unique way. She loves adventures, swimming, exploring, and outdoor activities, but she is not a nonstop high-energy dog. She can absolutely keep up on hikes, walks, or active days, then happily relax afterward. She is great with other dogs and cats. With dogs, she does best around friendly, respectful personalities. She can get intimidated if another dog is overly pushy or tries to dominate her, but outside of that she is social, playful, and very happy around other animals. With new people, Marcy can sometimes give a little low growl at first. It is not aggression and she has never shown aggressive behavior. It is simply her way of saying she needs a moment to process and get comfortable. Once she settles in, her affectionate and goofy personality comes out quickly. She is basically an extroverted introvert. Marcy would be a great fit for someone looking for a dog that enjoys adventures and outdoor time but does not need constant stimulation to stay happy. She especially needs a family that understands that not every friendly dog is instantly social with strangers, and that giving a dog a few minutes to warm up is completely okay. Good fit: someone looking for a fun, outdoorsy companion that enjoys water, adventures, and relaxing equally. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $500 (includes transport + vetting) Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ, VT Think you might be a good fit? Story
If you've been dreaming of a little dog with a huge heart, Delightful Daisy Di may be the one you've been waiting for. At just 18 months old, this adorable little Corgi weighs only 14 pounds and stands about 11 inches tall, making her one of the tiniest Corgis we've seen in quite some time. She may be petite in size, but she has enough love to fill a house.   Delightful Daisy Di has already experienced more than any young dog should. Still just a puppy herself, she was bred far too early and lovingly raised her litter before finally getting the chance to begin a life of her own. Now that her puppies have all found wonderful homes, it's Daisy's turn to be cherished, spoiled, and loved as someone's very special girl.   From the moment you meet her, it's impossible not to fall in love. Daisy is incredibly affectionate and gives the sweetest cuddles. She adores people, greets everyone like a friend, and gets along beautifully with other dogs and even cats. She has a gentle, easygoing nature that makes her a delightful companion whether you're relaxing on the couch or heading out for an adventure.   Don't let her tiny size fool you—Daisy has plenty of spirit. When she's feeling her best, she can zip around the yard like a little racehorse, reminding everyone that Corgis were bred to be active, intelligent working dogs. She enjoys being part of whatever her people are doing and would love a family that includes her in everyday life.   Daisy is housebroken, crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and has all the basics already mastered. She is heartworm negative, spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and completely ready to begin the next chapter of her life.   We would love to see Daisy join a family that will appreciate both her affectionate nature and her bright mind. A securely fenced yard would give her a safe place to run and play, and children eight years and older would be a wonderful match. She would especially enjoy activities like agility, flyball, trick training, hiking, or simply learning fun new games with her family. She loves having a job to do and thrives when she can use both her body and her brain.   Daisy has spent the beginning of her young life taking care of others. Now it's finally her turn to be the one who is cherished. She is ready for a family that will give her the happy, carefree future she has always deserved, and in return she will reward them with endless affection, loyal companionship, and a lifetime of love.   If you think Daisy could be your perfect little partner, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Be sure to tell us your city and state when you inquire. Daisy is ready to find the forever family she's been waiting for.   If you are interested please Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmailcom   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 23, 2026, 2:26 pm
