Story
Harley is a little over 4 years old, a purebred AKC-registered Pembroke Welsh Corgi, and was recently retired from a breeding program in Hotchkiss, Colorado. She is healthy, has no known medical issues, and I remain in contact with her breeder, who can provide additional background if needed. I am looking to responsibly rehome Harley because she has not been getting along with my other female corgi in the home. However, she has done well around other neighborhood dogs, so this appears to be more of a compatibility issue with my current dog rather than a general problem with other dogs.Harley is alert, affectionate, and has the classic intelligent corgi personality. She would likely do best with an owner who understands the breed and can provide structure, consistency, and a calm environment as she transitions. My priority is finding Harley the right home where she can thrive. A reasonable rehoming fee applies to ensure a serious and committed placement.

Story
Short legs, big ears, soft like a bunny, and a personality that could power a small city… Joey Jolly is the kind of dog that makes people smile the second they see him. With his corgi ears, little legs, and adorable smile paired with a lab-like body, he’s basically the perfect mashup of all the cutest features rolled into one ridiculously lovable boy. Watch his video and fall head over heels for this happy boy: https://youtu.be/INktC_6POT4?si=YpHn7F3Yg4i6L5N2 Joey Jolly is believed to be a Corgi mix, approximately 2 years old. With rescue dogs, it’s always a bit of a mystery and we can’t guarantee breed, but we’d confidently say he got the best of everything. The ears, the legs, the tail, and the happy personality to match. He’s the definition of fun-sized and currently weighs 46 lbs, so don’t let his pictures fool you. He’s a short king and the perfect in-between size. Not too big, not too small… just right! Also, we gotta talk about his eyes! They are so gorgeous and so unique! One is a solid caramel brown color while the other is half that caramel brown while the other half is icy blue. They are stunning and just adds to his charm. This boy absolutely loves people. He’s incredibly happy, joyful, and affectionate, and he isn’t shy about showing it. Joey thrives on attention, happily leans in for cuddles, and has the kind of bubbly personality that makes him a joy to be around. Whether he’s following you around the house, curling up next to you, or greeting you with his signature happy energy, he just makes life more fun. His foster has two kids, ages 12 and 16, and she says he does great with them. Joey also had the chance to spend time with a 5 year old and based on what we observed, he was comfortable and relaxed around a 5 year old. He took treats from the 5 year and even sat for him! We honestly didn't know if he knew how to sit but he certainly did for the little boy! Joey is dog friendly and he is currently fostered in a home with a senior 12 year old chihuahua and as well as a cat and does great with both of them. Joey truly seemed to LOVE all of the dogs we introduced him to and honestly looked like he was having the absolute time of his life. He was zooming around the yard, playing chase, sharing toys, and happily bouncing from dog to dog with this goofy happy energy that was impossible not to smile at. His play style is more playful and fun-loving rather than rough and over-the-top, and he seemed to really enjoy dogs that wanted to run around and be silly with him. While we definitely think Joey would probably love having a playful doggy companion in the home, he does not need another dog around in order to feel comfortable or open up. He’s naturally just a happy, social little fella that brings the fun wherever he goes. He also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. He did not chase Biggie, nor was he bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around him as well. As stated previously, Joey is also currently fostered in a home with a cat and does great with his foster’s cat. Joey has such a well-balanced personality. He’s happy, silly, adventurous, and cuddly all at once. He loves toys (especially stuffy toys) and is great at entertaining himself when needed. He would be a wonderful fit for a semi-active family, but he’s also calm enough to be a great companion for someone who works from home. He’s just as happy going on an adventure as he is relaxing by your side afterward. He’s crate trained, potty trained, and walks fairly well on a leash. Of course, he will pull out of excitement here and there and like with any dog, leash skills can always use some fine tuning. Joey also knows how to sit (sometimes), is eager to please, and walks nicely on a leash. He also rides well in a car and can jump in and out without assistance. He has the potential to thrive in an apartment with proper exercise and socialization and would also thrive in a home with a backyard. His ears might be what first catches your eye, but it’s his happy-go-lucky personality that really steals the show. Joey is the kind of dog that brings fun, affection, and laughter into your everyday life. He’s adorable, easy to love, and ready to be someone’s joyful little sidekick. We are willing to test Joey Jolly with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen. Just let us know! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Some dogs arrive in rescue angry at the world. Others arrive completely shut down. And then there are dogs like Eddie — little souls who have every reason not to trust people anymore, yet still look at you with hopeful eyes and quietly ask for love.   Eddie is an absolutely adorable one-year-old Beagle mix weighing about 30 pounds, and everything about him is endearing. From his compact little body to his soulful face and soft expression, he is impossible not to fall in love with. He has the kind of face that makes you want to scoop him up, sit down, and promise him that life is finally going to be better.   Sadly, Eddie’s beginning was anything but easy.   He was rescued from a neglect and abandonment situation along with eight other dogs. They had clearly been surviving rather than truly living. Although friendly, they were frightened and unsure of the world around them. It is heartbreaking to imagine how long Eddie went without the stability, affection, and care every dog deserves.   But despite everything, this sweet boy’s spirit is shining through almost immediately.   Within a single day in foster care, Eddie has already started relaxing and showing his true personality. His foster mom says he is soaking up affection and beginning to understand that kindness is real. He has welcomed the companionship of the other dogs in the home and has quickly traded fear for hopeful little smiles and a wagging tail.   Eddie is not an overwhelming or demanding dog. He is the kind of companion who simply wants to be near his people. He is quiet, gentle, affectionate, and incredibly easy to love. Whether he is curling up beside you after a long day or trotting happily along on a walk, Eddie seems grateful for every small moment of comfort and attention.   We truly believe Eddie could fit beautifully into many different homes and lifestyles. He would make a wonderful family dog for children wanting a loyal best friend. He would thrive with a young couple looking for a devoted companion in an apartment or condo. He could also be the perfect addition to an empty-nester home where he could enjoy walks, adventures, and peaceful evenings filled with love and companionship.   What Eddie wants most is what he has likely never had — consistency, safety, and someone who will never leave him behind again.   He is fully grown, fully ready for a forever home, and fully deserving of a life filled with kindness and commitment. Somewhere out there is the family meant for Eddie, and when they find him, they are going to wonder how they ever lived without him.   To give Eddie the loving future he deserves, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 22, 2026, 10:26 pm

My parents got Bonnie through a rehoming program she came up to New England from somewhere in the Soutern United States. I believe Bonnie is about 6 years old. Bonnie is a very loyal high energy dog that requires a lot of attention and exercise. A new owner should enjoy long walks and outdoor time.

Story
Sissy is the kind of dog who’s happiest curled up next to you at the end of the day. She’s calm, affectionate, and just wants to be close without being overwhelming. Sissy is a young corgi/JRT mix with a unique look—long and low, but not heavy. She’s the perfect size for couch cuddles and everyday life. She’s very loving and enjoys being with her person, whether that’s relaxing at home or just hanging out nearby. When she first arrived, she was scared of other dogs and reacted out of fear. Once she realized she was safe, she completely relaxed and now does well around them. That tells you a lot about her—she’s sensitive, aware, and able to adjust when she feels secure. Good fit: someone looking for a calm, affectionate companion who enjoys closeness and will settle into a steady, comfortable routine. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $500 (includes transport + vetting) Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ, VT Think you might be a good fit? Story
Marcy is the type of dog that makes people smile almost immediately. She has a goofy, happy personality, loves being involved in whatever you are doing, and absolutely lives for water. If there is a pond, creek, kiddie pool, or muddy shoreline nearby, Marcy will find it. Marcy is a stocky, short-legged mixed breed girl around 45 pounds full grown with a personality that balances confidence and sensitivity in a really unique way. She loves adventures, swimming, exploring, and outdoor activities, but she is not a nonstop high-energy dog. She can absolutely keep up on hikes, walks, or active days, then happily relax afterward. She is great with other dogs and cats. With dogs, she does best around friendly, respectful personalities. She can get intimidated if another dog is overly pushy or tries to dominate her, but outside of that she is social, playful, and very happy around other animals. With new people, Marcy can sometimes give a little low growl at first. It is not aggression and she has never shown aggressive behavior. It is simply her way of saying she needs a moment to process and get comfortable. Once she settles in, her affectionate and goofy personality comes out quickly. She is basically an extroverted introvert. Marcy would be a great fit for someone looking for a dog that enjoys adventures and outdoor time but does not need constant stimulation to stay happy. She especially needs a family that understands that not every friendly dog is instantly social with strangers, and that giving a dog a few minutes to warm up is completely okay. Good fit: someone looking for a fun, outdoorsy companion that enjoys water, adventures, and relaxing equally. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back.
