Chester is a 7 year old Corgi with the perfect blend of laid back charm and classic Corgi personality. He is a friendly, easygoing guy who gets along well with adults, children, other dogs, and even cats. He currently lives peacefully with both dogs and a cat and has fit right in. Chester enjoys spending time with his people and taking life at his own pace. He walks wonderfully on a leash, doesn't pull, and is a pleasure to take out for strolls. He has shown little interest in chasing rabbits and would much rather continue on his walk. He is mostly indifferent to the household cat, though he occasionally gets curious and may bark as if to say, "Who are you and why aren't you moving?" His barks are not aggressive, and he redirects easily without becoming fixated. Like many Corgis, Chester is smart, loyal, and enjoys being part of whatever his family is doing. He is comfortable going upstairs, though walking downstairs is still a bit of a challenge and he currently appreciates a helping hand. Outside, Chester enjoys digging and would happily help with any landscaping projects you may have planned. Future adopters should be aware that he may occasionally decide the yard could use a few extra holes. Chester appears to be in good overall health, but he will likely need a dental cleaning in the near future. His future family should be prepared for routine dental care to help keep him comfortable and healthy as he ages If you're looking for a friendly, relaxed companion who gets along with everyone he meets, Chester may be the perfect fit.
