Georgie is a blind and deaf puppy who doesn't let his disabilities get in his way one bit! He loves his pup foster brothers and runs around the house like any puppy, happy as a clam. He is a world-class snuggler and loves to be carried like a baby. He does not do well on a leash, but his foster is working on this with him. And zero accidents! This little guy is a gem and you won't regret making him yours! *Note that due to Georgie's disabilities, he will need a fenced in yeard for his safety.* If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please an Adoption Request Form. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. My dog Rio is somewhere between 11 and 13 years old. He was adopted by me roughly 10 years ago, and in that time, he has been the most loving and loyal friend I could ask for. But due to my allergies, I need to rehome him. For someone considering adoption, please note that Rio is very protective of me, and he has exhibited protective behavior. This is largely because his previous owner was abusive. His new owner should expect to keep him isolated the majority of the time, and be prepared to take precautions when visiting the vet or groomer. If you are interested in my dog, I would gladly cover everything you will need to know including his history. I am hoping to find someone that will love him just as much as I have, because he really is a good boy, he just is confused. I will say however, when he is away from me, his behavior changes dramatically and he is very sweet towards others. This gives me hope and happiness that whoever adopts him will get the best version of Rio.
