Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *This animal is a part of our “Seniors for Seniors” program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* I'm Frank, and I'm a youthful 15 years old. I find joy in affectionate gestures, leisurely strolls, frolicking on the grassy outdoors, and sharing quality time with my human companion. While my vision and hearing might not be at their best, they don't hinder me from savoring life to the fullest. I'm on the lookout for a devoted human friend who enjoys short walks, outdoor adventures, and doesn't mind letting me explore the yard, either within a fenced area or on a leash. Sharing these moments together is what I treasure most. I'm quite content sleeping in my kennel, and I'm not much of a barker, though I might howl when I can't locate you and need to go outside. My friendly disposition extends to dogs, cats, and humans alike. At this time, I must wear a belly band at all times as I’m still working on a potty schedule. My foster mom is on top of this and we’ll hopefully get to the bottom of this. I'm a gentle and loving soul in search of a lifelong companion to share my days with. With love, Frank Frank is from a local impound.  If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. Story
Location: Savage, MN Hi, I'm Veda! My foster mama says I am the sweetest little bean ever. I am completely house broken and kennel trained. I get my little bursts of energy, but I can also be quite the couch potato. I also walk very well on my leash, and I do not bark much unless I need to alert something that sounds dangerous to me. I am a fabulous passenger in the car, or on my foster mama's golf cart! I am very shy in new environments and around new people. I need *very* slow and careful introductions. I do tend to like women more than men, but have warmed up to several men who gave me my time and space until I was ready. I get along with most other doggies, however I sometimes get confused between what is playing and what is not very polite so my foster mama is still teaching me those manners, because she says I can sometimes be "bossy". I also love chew toys, bones, balls, you name it. I can be a little spunky, but when foster mama tells me "no" I listen right away. Do you have room for a cute little lover like me in your heart and on your lap? What would my ideal home look like? Well, since I am very unsure about strangers and can be a bit protective of my favorite people, I may not be the dog you bring out to social events. If you are a family that has parties or has company over often, I might get overwhelmed or need to stay in my room during their visit. A home that does not have a lot of foot traffic would be ideal. I need a human that will learn how to read my body language to know when a situation or person is not right for me, and will be able to make sure that I and everyone around me is protected from one of my little outbursts. I am not a danger to the humans that I trust and love, and once I warm up to you, you will think I am an angel. But, I need to be handled carefully in public or around other people. This isn't meant to make me sound scary, but to ensure that I find the right fit for my forever home. Would you be willing to work with a cute little noodle like myself? --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
This was my mother-in-law‘s dog, she was dumped onto us right before I gave birth to my daughter. They previously rescued her from some kind of adoption agency hours away. Before that Blinky was found on the streets of California, she was abused. She’s a pug corgi mix so she had a curly tail at one point, but the people who abused her broke her tail. So she is sensitive about her tail being touched. She had such bad cherry eye that got infected. She had to lose the eye. I just got her vaccinated after multiple years of not being vaccinated. She is temperamental and rather unpredictable. I believe a home where she is the only animal/no young kids where she can live out her remaining years would be best for her. Every now and then she will get aggressive and try to bite you or she will spin and bark and growl and attack herself which scares my daughter. I don’t want her growing up thinking this aggression is normal from a dog.
