Meet April — a 12 y/o gentle, loving girl looking for her forever home April came to me for temporary care after a family member could no longer keep her, and now she’s ready to find a home where she can truly flourish. She’s a total sweetheart with a soft, sensitive nature. April startles easily, so she does best in a calm, patient environment. Once she feels safe, she loves nothing more than treats, quiet time, and curling up on a cozy blanket. April is kennel trained, though she rarely needs to be in one — she mostly uses it as her little safe space when she wants some downtime. She’s wonderful on walks. April is leash trained and enjoys both short strolls and longer adventures at a relaxed pace. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion who just needs a little reassurance and a lot of love, April might be the perfect match.
