Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Moxie — 15 pounds of confidence, curiosity, and very tall ears. Seriously, her ears stand so high they may be picking up satellite signals. Moxie was found stranded in southern Minnesota and likely dumped, but you’d never know it from the way she’s learning to love life again. She can be a little shy when meeting new people—think of her as the “read the room first” type—but once she realizes she’s safe, she transforms into your tiny, loyal shadow and certified best friend. This little lady packs a big personality into a very small body. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, enjoys being part of the pack, and absolutely loves sleeping in bed with her humans. If you’re looking for a built-in nighttime snuggle buddy, Moxie is ready to clock in. A few things to know about our pint-sized queen: She’s about 85% potty trained (the other 15% is still under negotiation). She’s not a big fan of the kennel during the day—she prefers freedom and fairness. Because she can bark when you leave, a home without shared walls would be ideal. She arrived pretty scared, so we haven’t introduced a leash yet. For now, a secure fenced yard is the best setup for her. Moxie’s ideal home is one where she can feel safe, loved, and maybe a little spoiled (she feels strongly about the bed situation). In return, you’ll get a tiny dog with giant ears, a brave heart, and enough personality to fill the whole house. Small dog. Big ears. Even bigger Moxie.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Story
Meet Pearl - the small corgi mix with a HUGE heart! At just one year old, this little gem shines everywhere she goes. Pearl greets life with a happy trot, a constant smile, and an eagerness for cuddles or playtime (your choice, she’s flexible!). She adores humans of all ages and gets along great with dogs big and small. Cats? She hasn’t met any yet, but her sweet, gentle nature suggests she’d be a polite new friend. Pearl’s daily routine is the good life: chew a bone, take a nap, tug a toy, repeat - all with plenty of people time mixed in. She’s potty trained, crate trained, sleeps like an angel through the night, and wakes up ready to love and be loved. Outdoors, Pearl loves exploring and taking in the world. She walks nicely on a leash, though she does pull a bit. She’s a quiet girl, too - you’ll rarely hear a bark unless she’s inviting another pup to play. She’s still a youngster, so she can get a bit mouthy during play, but she easily redirects to a toy or bone like the smart cookie she is. If you’re looking for endless joy, constant smiles, and the perfect little companion, Pearl is ready to sparkle in your life!   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $550.00 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 25, 2026, 11:53 am

Story
Hey, y'all! My name is Rodney. I haven't been in Minnesota for very long, but I think I'm meant to be here. Snow.is.amaaaazing!  Being a corgi mix, I'm pretty low to the ground, but I hop through the snow joyfully.   I am house trained and kennel trained. I am very dog friendly. I mostly ignore them, but really like it when other dogs chase me!    My favorite thing is playing fetch. Outside, down the hall, or even just tossed towards the other end of the couch. I bring the ball back, drop it, and nudge it towards you just in case you didn't see it at first.    I like to stretch out and rest near you after as much fetch as you can handle.    I have done well on car rides so far and I'm doing well on the leash.    I'm a fun loving fella who would love to have a home and some toys to call my own...or to share, that would be fine with me also.    I would love to meet you, play some, and show you how cute my head tilt is!     Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
