Hi! My name is Bridgette and I am looking for a forever home. I was picked up as a stray and taken to a really scary place called a shelter where, after my hold time was up, I was placed on something bad called "the list". Fortunatey for me, a BCAA volunteer saw my picture and started the process on getting me out of there. I was very happy to be out of there but was still pretty scared when I first came into foster, but everyone has been so nice to me that I have started coming out of my shell and discovering I love attention from anyone willing to give it to me (belly rubs are really good, too). I appear to be maybe a mix of a basset (my legs are only a couple inches) with possiby a boxer? Whatever I am, my foster mom says I am super cute with a personality to match. The vet put me a little over a year old and I weigh around 24lbs. It also looks like I have had puppies recently and was probably abandoned right after they were weaned. While I'm not aggressive towards other dogs, I prefer calmer ones that do not get in my face; so far I haven't bothered those things called cats. I have done really well in my crate which I will go in readily as I feels it's my safe space unless, of course, I'm allowed to be out with you. I am good on leash with just a little bit of encouragement. Hi! My name is Millie and I am looking for a forever home. I was surrendered by my previous mom to a small rescue 'cause she said she just didn't have the time to take care of a puppy. A volunteer with that rescue contacted BCAA to see if they could help me and they said yes! I appear to be a corgi mix, maybe with a touch of chihuhaua, but whatever I am my foster mom says I'm adorable with a super sweet personality to match. I am about 4-5mos old and am around 8-10lbs right now so should stay on the smaller side once I'm full grown. It takes me a couple of minutes to learn that I can trust you but after that, I'm all about the loving and playing I have gotten along with all of the other small dogs I have met but haven't really encountered those things called cats yet. I am a typical puppy in that I will need continued training and socialization to become the great adult dog my foster mom says I'm on my way to becoming. Meet Applebee’s Bacon Bourbon Sliders aka Baconator aka Kevin Bacon, or sometimes just Kevin. Kevin Bacon is a handsome 1 year old Corgi with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This adorable boy happens to be deaf, but don’t tell Kevin that he’s any different, he approaches life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and plenty of puppy charm. Kevin is settling nicely into foster care and enjoys spending time outdoors playing ball. Whether he’s racing after a toy or deciding that bringing it back is optional, he keeps everyone entertained with his goofy antics.
