Story
Lizzie, born 9/27/25, is female Corgi/Husky mix and weighs 29 lbs . She is an owner surrender because her owner could no longer care for her. She is gorgeous and sweet! She is good with dogs and children. She is also participating in the cell dog program which is where the dog stays at the prison with a dog handler working on basic obedience and house, crate, and leash training. It’s an amazing program! The adoption fee covers the spay , microchip with lifetime registration, vaccinations (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies) dewormings and heartworm/lyme testing.   Bonnie is a 3 year old Aussie shepherd/corgi/sheltie mix female. She is only 30 pounds and does not mind being an only dog. She is dog selective but prefers males and will play non stop. She is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and spayed and ready to go to her new home. She jumps up a lot. Working on the jumping but part of that is her young energy. She loves to kiss people and likes sitting outside when it is sunny. This is one girl that loves belly rubs.  To adopt Bonnie, please do our non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org so we can see if you are a good match. She would do best with a fenced yard as she started out as an outside dog and likes to survey the landscape but she gets pretty attached and does not leave home.  Her adoption fee is $350. Moose is a kind, compassionate and friendly dog. I have a 5 year old son who he adores. He is intelligent and easily trained. It is heart breaking to separate him from our family but I’m not home enough to give him the love and care he needs due to my employer. He is a great dog and an even better friend.
