Story
Toto was found as a stray along with his 3 siblings in South Korea. It wasn't safe so a local rescue came and took them into foster. Toto has been sterilized, dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, and vet checked. Toto is friendly but a little shy at first . Lots of treats wins him over and he will be your best friend. He is great with dogs, ignored cats, and simply needs a patient home. If interested, please email dcdgavel@gmail.com for an adoption application.

Unknown (1~5) Character: playful, brave, Vaccination up to date Diet info: Kibbles, Beef, Chicken Rescue Story Tess's journey began in the face of adversity, as he was raised on a dog meat farm. However, fate smiled upon him, and he was rescued at a tender age alongside his sister, Heidi. This resilient pup now stands before you, ready to embark on a new chapter filled with love, warmth, and the promise of a brighter future. About Him/Her Tess, a smart and quick learner, has overcome the shadows of his past. In the beginning, he harbored extreme fear, especially when lifted by humans. Yet, with each passing day, he's been conquering those fears and learning to trust again. While he may still be a bit skittish around new faces, his progress is evident, and we believe he will continue to blossom with the right companionship. This incredible boy has a heart of a hero. Tess is not just a dog; he's a protector who goes above and beyond for his family and friends. There's a touching story of his bravery – once, witnessing another dog happily swimming, Tess, thinking his friend was in danger, didn't hesitate. Despite never having learned to swim, he whined with concern and then leaped into the water to save his fellow canine companion. Such courage and compassion make Tess a truly exceptional companion. Affectionate and loving, Tess craves the warmth of human connection. He adores car rides and finds comfort in the companionship of his family. While he enjoys a good wrestle with other dogs, he isn't overly energetic, making him a versatile and adaptable furry friend for various living situations. Tess's sister, Heidi, has already found her forever home in Canada, and now it's Tess's turn to find his perfect match. He eagerly awaits a flight volunteer to bring him to his new home, where he can shower his future family with loyalty and affection. Story
Archie was rescued in the spring of 2019 Paju, Korea where he was roaming around the village with his siblings as a small puppy. After his rescue, he lived with a foster family before flying to Canada to join his family. Unfortunately, through no fault of anyone, Archie is looking for a new forever home. His family experienced changes in their family dynamic with the addition of grandchildren who visit frequently, and Archie is ultimately happiest in a quieter setting. Archie much prefers the company of a small group of people he is acquainted with rather than being the social butterfly of the room. While shy during first introductions, he will follow your every step once he has been given the time to warm up. When first meeting him, the best way to "introduce" yourself is to simply ignore him and let him approach when he is ready. Once Archie has decided you are part of his pack, you're in for life! While in foster in Korea, Archie lived with other dogs and was great with them. He currently lives with another dog whom he does well with. Overall, Archie does fine with other dogs but needs a bit of time and space to get acquainted. He goes on pack walks with a dog walker and has frequent visits from doggy family members where he loves playing tag with them and enjoys being chased. Generally, he prefers the company of laid-back, submissive (doggy) personalities. Sharing his toys is not an issue, but bones are a prized possession for him. Archie loves being outside, with walks being his second favorite pasttime. His first and utmost favorite thing to do is playing fetch. He is housetrained and sleeps without issue in the bedroom on his doggy bed at night. Although he does not love the vet or groomer, he tolerates visits very well albeit with a little nervousness in the beginning. He also rides well in the car. Things that Archie does not like are young children, which is an area/situation he struggles to get comfortable around. Fast, sudden movements and unpredictability scare him, and he expresses his fear with barking and lunging due to feeling the need to defend himself. Although he is used to having someone home with him for the majority of the day, Archie can be trusted to be home alone (with his canine sibling) for a few hours at a time without issue. Archie's ideal home is a small household without young children or other pets. Although he gets along fine with other dogs, he is selective and time and patience are required. He thrives with consistency and predictability. For Archie, the more boring, the better! (Except for walks and fetch, he's always up for those). He would love a secure yard where he can zoom around and play fetch, with an active family who enjoys walks and being outdoors as much as he does. Archie also prefers the cooler months to summer, so winter activities agree with him. He would make a wonderful "partner in crime" to someone who has the time to spend with him. Story
In August of 2022, my story took a turn when I found myself in a city shelter, facing the dreaded euthanasia list. But just when hope seemed dim, a compassionate rescuer spotted me and decided rescue me! While I may appear a bit shy at first, the magic of treats can work wonders in melting my heart. I warm up quickly, especially to the gentle touch of females. That said, it doesn't mean I'm afraid of males. I haven't had the chance to meet children under 13, but my gentle nature suggests I'd likely get along just fine with them. You'll find it's a breeze to pet me, and you can easily carry me around. When it comes to other dogs, I'm a polite greeter, though I'm not always in the mood for play. I'm quite the diplomat and get along well with dogs of all sizes and ages, preferring to avoid conflicts and disputes. Stray cats catch my attention with their mysterious ways, but when my handler calls, I'm quick to follow, showing my obedient side. Birds, on the other hand, don't pique my interest. My energy level is in the moderate range, making outdoor activities a joy, and indoors, I'm very calm. I'm a pro when it comes to leash-walking, as I don't pull at all. Resources like treats, toys, and attention are meant to be shared, and I don't guard them from people or other dogs. While I'm not much of a barker, I may let out a little warning bark when confronted with really loud noises. I'm at ease in a crate during car rides, though I might experience a touch of car sickness and drool a bit. It's recommended not to feed me right before the journey. I'm adaptable when it comes to potty time, doing my business both indoors on puppy pads and outdoors. I'm a brave and loving soul on a remarkable journey, and I'm ready to be your loyal companion. With patience, treats, and a heart full of love, we can create beautiful memories together. Heath -related I recently underwent Guinal Hernia Repair surgery and am on the path to full recovery, expected to be back to my best by November. Story
Woof! Hi there, I'm an adorable 4-year-old Corgi/French Bulldog mix with the most charming brown coat. Let me tell you a little about my incredible journey: Rescue Story:I started my adventure as a stray pup found right outside the post office. The kind souls who discovered me whisked me away to a city shelter, and that's when my tail-wagging story truly began! If you're looking for a friend who's always ready to make new buddies, you've found me! I'm a total social butterfly, quick to roll over and show you my affection. I'm particularly fond of the ladies, and you can scoop me up with ease for a snuggle. When it comes to other furry friends, I'm the "Hello, how are you?" kind of pup. I get along famously with bigger dogs and am quite the peacemaker, steering clear of any puppy disputes. They call me the "Good Boy" for a reason! I've got a moderate to high energy level, which means I'm raring to go for outdoor adventures. But indoors, you'll find me as calm as a cuddly stuffed animal. During our walks, I may pull a bit due to all the excitement, but fear not! I'm an excellent listener and stop often to savor the delightful scents of the world around us. Whether it's treats, toys, or just some quality lap time, I'm not into guarding resources. Barking? Nope, not my style! I'm also a pro at crate training. When it comes to car rides, I'm still learning the ropes. You'll need to carry me in and out, but once inside, I'm the picture of well-behaved charm. For now, I'm okay with both indoor and outdoor potty, but with a regular walking routine, I'll happily switch to outdoor-only bathroom breaks. I'm as quiet as a mouse, with just one notable exception – I barked once when a particularly loud noise startled me. I prefer snuggles over barks any day! My foster mom can't stop gushing about me. She says I'm a gentle, affectionate sweetheart who loves leaning on people to show my adoration. So, if you're on the hunt for a furry companion who's as charming as they come, I'm your guy! Let's create a tail-wagging love story together, filled with cuddles, adventures, and endless affection. Story
I'm Danna, a 2-year-old female Jindo Corgi mix. Sweet and Shy: At first, I might come across as a bit shy, but don't let that fool you. A tasty treat and a little patience are all it takes to win me over. Once I trust you, we'll be fast friends. Independent Playtime: I'm not interested in other dogs. I'm more of an independent spirit who enjoys my own playtime. Adorable Looks: People often say I'm a real cutie with my big, expressive eyes and short legs. My unique appearance is sure to melt your heart. Curious and Clever: I love exploring new scents, and I'm quite the clever pup. I pick up on things quickly, so I'll be a breeze to train. If you're patient, kind, and looking for a companion who's as cute as a button, I'm the one for you. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsLTtIpe3JyyqV37UkyNAB6lL9Q1IHw2 Rescue Story: She has entered the city center with a pregnant body. She has given birth but unfortunately, the puppies were not able to survive. Dana was the only dog who survived but this poor guy has been listed on a euthanasia list. Someone has spotted and heard the story, they have decided to rescue her!
