Story
Ricky is an approximately14 year-old neutered male Corgi (best guess) mix weighing approximately 40 pounds.  Ricky came into rescue when his owner of 10 years was no longer able to provide for him.   Speaking of Dogs quickly discovered that Ricky had bladder stones when he first arrived.  The stones have been successfully removed and he has fully recovered. He is currently on potassium citrate tablets 2x a day which he takes with his meals.  He is also on veterinary food to prevent crystals in his urine.  His last vet check showed that he is doing well and is crystal free.  He is happy and very proud of his speedy recovery and 10 pound weight loss!!!   Ricky is a loving and loyal dog who believes he is the perfect size to sit in your lap.  He adores putting his head on your lap and getting his ears rubbed. He will lean into your legs and put a paw in your lap if you stop petting him before he has had enough.    Ricky has 2 or 3  thirty minute walks each day as well as zoomies in the fully fenced backyard to help him maintain a healthy weight. He also thoroughly enjoys playing tug with his toys. Ricky enjoys being active outside in both summer and winter. Ricky is fully housetrained and sleeps throughout the night.  He has his own bed during the day but sleeps with his foster Mum at night.   He is also excellent at riding in the car.  He  looks forward to visiting his foster "Grandma" every chance he gets.  He loves it when Grandma rubs his belly and tells him he is a good boy.   He can also be left alone in the house for 4 or 5 hours at a time without incident. He will also let you know when he wants to go out for a pee break. Ricky can be vocal and will alert his foster family to anything he perceives to be unusual in his surroundings.  This includes people and other dogs. Ricky is the only pet in the house and he prefers to be the centre of attention.  He loves to watch TV with his people and happily waits to be told he can get up on the couch.  He also waits to be told he can go get his breakfast and dinner.  Best of all Ricky knows not to be underfoot when people are cooking in the kitchen.  He is a clever dog who learns quickly with positive reinforcement training.    Currently Ricky is working on his impulse to bark when people come to the door or pass him on the street.  Ricky can be redirected with a treat and then happily meets new people with big tail wags.  He has made friends with many of the neighbours. Ricky is more reactive to other dogs he may pass on his walks. Because of his reactivity and alert barking, apartment living is not for him. To help Ricky on his walks he wears a halti with a double lead to his collar.  While still a work in progress, Ricky is making improvements seeing other dogs on the street and associates the word "bed" with a direction to settle down.  Ricky also knows the following commands:  sit, stay, down, and off and pee. If you are looking for a smart, happy, playful, loyal and loving friend who wants to be your BFF then Ricky is the dog for you.  Here is a link to our adoption application:  https://www.speakingofdogs.com/adoption/dog-adoption-application-2/ Due to time constraints, we cannot respond to every email asking for more information on a dog. 🐾 Meet Willie 🐶 Name: Willie 🐕 Breed: Welsh Corgi 🎂 Age: Approximately 3–4 years old ⚖️ Weight: 9 kg (20 lbs) ♂️ Gender: Male (Neutered) 💉 Vaccinated: Yes Current location: S.Korea 👨‍👩‍👧 People Willie is very friendly with people. Even complete strangers can pet him in the elevator, and he'll happily wag his tail and enjoy the attention. 🧒Kids: He has not lived with young children, but he has never shown any aggression toward children he has met during walks. 🐕 Dogs Wilie is indifferent in other dogs, he is focused on people. If another dog barks aggressively at him, he usually chooses to avoid the situation. 🐱 Cats Unknown. Willie has never lived with cats. But he doesnt have prey drive ✅ No separation anxiety. He is not destructive when left alone. In fact, he seems to enjoy having some quiet time to himself. ✅ Food Willie enjoys food but has excellent manners. He has shown no signs of food or toy guarding. ✅Walking Willie absolutely loves going for walks and prefers to potty outdoors. He currently goes outside at least twice a day (morning and evening) ✅Crate Although he has never had formal crate training, Willie is comfortable going into a crate and even sleeps there voluntarily. ✅Barking Willie is a very quiet dog. The only time he usually barks is when he gets excited before going out for a walk. ✅Handling & Grooming Willie enjoys being petted, especially belly rubs and gentle forehead scratches. He also doesn't particularly enjoy being picked up. Early on, he would struggle when lifted by unfamiliar people, but after building trust with his foster family, he became much more comfortable with it. ✅Escape Risk Willie is not a dog that tries to run away. However, because he is naturally cautious, loud noises such as construction sounds or heavy metal doors slamming may startle him in unfamiliar environments. If that happens, he may try to move toward a place where he feels safe. As long as his leash is securely held, this is easy to manage. Calm reassurance or gently holding him helps him recover quickly. ❤️ Personality Willie is a calm, gentle, and independent boy. He enjoys spending time with people but is also perfectly happy relaxing by himself. When left alone, he usually finds a cool, comfortable spot and naps peacefully. Although he has a playful side and enjoys tug games and walks, he has a naturally low-to-medium energy level and would fit best with a calm household. ❤️ Ideal Home Willie would do best with a calm family that appreciates his gentle, thoughtful personality. He enjoys companionship but is not clingy, making him a wonderful match for someone looking for an easygoing, independent dog. Because he loves outdoor potty breaks and daily walks, his ideal family should be able to take him outside every morning and evening. Willie is a careful and sensitive soul who may be startled by sudden loud noises outdoors, but with a patient and reassuring owner, he quickly regains his confidence. If you're looking for a sweet, well-mannered companion who is quiet, affectionate, and easy to live with, Willie may be the perfect addition to your family. ❤️

@Please visit our Web : www.lovefsir.org @You can Email to us : fsirdog@gmail.com @Fill out the application at : http://lovefsir.org/application.php <---- @Visit our Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/loveFSIR ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Sweet, Short-Legged Angel of Hope & Resilience Meet LuLu, a vibrant and affectionate 2 to 3-year-old male Corgi who has overcome a dark past and is ready to find his forever home! Escaping the Darkness : A Rescue Story Though I am happy and bubbly today, I came from a very painful background. When I was just a puppy, my former owner treated me terribly. I was confined to a cramped cage filled with feces and urine for a very long time, and I was only fed poor-quality food. Fortunately, the foster mom who currently rescues and cares for me passed by my old home. Seeing my miserable condition broke her heart. She repeatedly begged and warned my former owner to stop abusing me, but her pleas fell on deaf ears. As it turned out, my former owner was a heavy gambler who only cared about money. Desperate to save me, the rescue organization ultimately decided to "buy" me from her just to get me out of there. That was the day I finally escaped that loveless, abusive house for good. The Story Behind His Name : A Legacy of Love and Rebirth After being rescued, I was given the name LuLu, which holds a deeply touching story. My foster mom previously cared for another rescue dog also named LuLu, who tragically passed away due to severe injuries. Channeling her grief into hope, she transferred all that profound love onto me. To her, I represent a beautiful "rebirth of hope." I know how special I am—I fully recognize and proudly respond whenever anyone calls my name! Personality : The Ultimate Social Butterfly Mr. Friendly : Despite my rough start in life, I harbor no bitterness. I have an exceptional temperament. I am incredibly sweet, gentle, and get along wonderfully with all people and other dogs. The Hilarious Plot Twist : Despite my confidence around dogs, I am secretly terrified of cats! When confronted by a spicy, bad-tempered Miss or Mr. Cat, I will immediately make a comical, swift retreat. Watching my short legs scramble away is absolutely hilarious and endearing. It's just a quirky trait that adds to his charming personality. Professional Corgi Care & Health Requirements (Must-Read for Adopters): Due to their signature long bodies and short legs, Corgis are highly prone to Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) and joint strain. To ensure LuLu lives a pain-free life, his adoptive family must adhere to the following professional care guidelines : Minimize and Avoid Jumping : Jumping on/off sofas, beds, or running up and down stairs puts immense stress on his spine. Adopters are requested to install pet ramps around the house. No Standing on Hind Legs : Avoid begging tricks that force him to stand upright, as this can cause acute spinal damage. Strict Weight Management : Corgis love food and gain weight easily. Extra pounds are the enemy of their spine and joints. LuLu requires a measured diet and regular, low-impact exercise. Anti-Slip Flooring : Placing anti-slip mats or rugs on slick floors (like tile or hardwood) is crucial to prevent slipping and accidental spinal twists. Additional Care Note : Because of their low ground clearance, their bellies and chests get wet and dirty easily during rainy walks. Thorough wiping and drying are essential after outdoor time to prevent dampness and skin infections. The Ideal Home : Having survived a loveless cage-bound life, LuLu is highly adaptable and suitable for all types of loving home—whether you are a single owner, a couple, or a family with children. If you understand the commitment to protecting his spine and want a loyal companion who brings endless laughter, LuLu is the boy for you ! Open your heart and home to LuLu, and let this sweet boy bring a lifetime of joy and hope into your world. The meaning of adoption is not gaining a free and 100% perfect dog. Instead, the meaning is a poor and helpless animal gets a new life and sweet home because of you. Please open your heart and your sweet home. If you are interested in LuLu, or want to help him. Please contact us. * We opened LuLu for adoption in Canada ,You are welcome to fill out our online application.* We are looking for a family who understands the patience and responsibility required to raise a pet. It is important to us.

Meet Bokdong — A Gentle, Special Boy Looking for His Forever Home   Name: Bokdong Age: 1 year old Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Mixed Breed Color: Gray/Brown Weight: 9 kg (20 lbs) Height: 34 cm (13.4 in) at the shoulder   RESCUE STORY Bokdong was rescued on April 23 from an animal hoarding situation along with his mother, Boksun, and other dogs. Despite everything he has been through at such a young age, he is a calm and gentle little boy.   MEDICAL HISTORY & SPECIAL NEEDS Veterinary examinations indicate that Bokdong has significant vision and hearing impairment. He appears to have some response to light, but for practical purposes, he should be considered visually impaired. Although he was also assessed as having hearing loss, he will occasionally bark in response to sounds outside.   Bokdong was also born with/developed an angular limb deformity in his front legs and has undergone corrective orthopedic surgery.   Bokdong’s surgery was performed to correct the abnormal bone angle, reduce uneven stress on his joints, and help minimize future pain, lameness, and progression of arthritis.   Despite his special needs, Bokdong has adapted well and enjoys a quiet, peaceful life.   ‍ WITH PEOPLE Because Bokdong cannot see normally, he does not immediately approach unfamiliar people and may startle if touched unexpectedly. Giving him a moment to realize someone is there makes a big difference.   Treats are a wonderful way to win him over! Once he becomes familiar with someone, he accepts affection and handling well. He can also be safely picked up with an arm supporting him under his belly.   WITH OTHER DOGS Bokdong will approach unfamiliar dogs to say hello but generally has little interest in playing with them. He occasionally responds when his littermate, Kkami, initiates play.   He is very non-confrontational and tends to move away rather than react if another dog bothers or challenges him. Overall, he is quite independent around other dogs and is perfectly happy simply sharing space with them.   WITH CATS Bokdong has not yet been observed around cats. Cat testing can be arranged if needed.   ENERGY LEVEL Low energy. Bokdong is naturally calm and loves relaxing and resting. He would likely thrive in a peaceful home where life is relatively predictable and he can learn his surroundings at his own pace.   WALKS Because of his limited vision, unfamiliar routes can initially make Bokdong nervous. Once he becomes familiar with a route, however, he walks much more confidently.   If he becomes frightened or uncertain, he may stop and resist being pulled forward. He will do best with a patient adopter who allows him time to understand and become comfortable with new surroundings.   OTHER BEHAVIOURS • No food guarding with people or other dogs • Occasionally barks when he hears or senses something outside • May occasionally demand-bark when he wants something • Can become anxious when first placed in a kennel and may howl quite a bit initially, but settles with time • Primarily goes potty outdoors   IDEAL HOME Bokdong doesn’t need anyone to feel sorry for him — he needs someone who understands that he experiences the world a little differently.   A calm, patient adopter who can give him consistency, gently introduce him to new environments, and allow him time to memorize his home and walking routes would be ideal. His limited sight and hearing may require some adjustments, but Bokdong has already shown how well he can adapt when he feels safe.   For the right person, this quiet little boy has so much love and companionship to give. QUICK FACTS Name: Taegeuk Age: About 5 Months Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Corgi – Jindo – Spitz Mix Color: Cream Weight: 5kg / 11lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a city shelter after being placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in and gave me a second chance, bringing me to safety and giving me the care I needed. Now, I’m looking forward to leaving that uncertain chapter behind and finding a loving forever family to begin my new journey with.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Taegeuk! I’m an adorable, clever pup with a gentle and friendly personality. I naturally enjoy being around people, follow their lead well, and tend to make an easy first impression. Of the three siblings I’ve been growing up with, I seem to be the one who may adjust most readily to different situations. One of my biggest strengths is my intelligence. I’m very focused when someone is working with me, and I already know “sit” very well. My rescuers sometimes joke that it feels like I remember everything—I pay close attention to what happens around me and seem to hold onto what I’ve learned. That combination of focus and a sharp memory could make continued training especially rewarding. Although I may seem like the most easygoing of my siblings at first glance, there’s a more sensitive side to me than people might initially expect. Because I’m observant and seem to remember my experiences well, thoughtful and positive handling is important for me. I’m not simply a carefree pup who forgets everything five minutes later—I notice my surroundings, and giving me good experiences will help that sensitive, intelligent mind feel secure. I’d love a family who appreciates both sides of me—the friendly, adaptable pup who seems to take things in stride and the thoughtful, sensitive boy underneath. With gentle guidance, consistency, and opportunities to keep using my clever brain, I have so much potential to become a wonderful companion. I’m ready to keep learning, settle into family life, and put that impressive memory of mine to work remembering all the good things that come with being loved.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m naturally friendly and affectionate with people, and I’m happy to approach both familiar faces and new people for attention. I enjoy leaning in for affection and am comfortable being petted, even by someone I’ve just met. I’m also comfortable being gently picked up with an arm supporting me under my belly. I haven’t had experience with children under 13 yet, so my comfort level with younger kids is still unknown. · With Dogs: I’m comfortable approaching unfamiliar dogs to say hello, especially dogs around my own size, but I generally don’t show much interest in interacting or playing with dogs I don’t know. With dogs I’m already comfortable with, though, I can be more playful—I get along well and enjoy playing with my siblings. · With Cats: I’ve lived in the same home with a cat for about two months, so I’m familiar and comfortable with having a cat companion around.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors, but I’m also happy to settle down and relax afterward. I’m currently working on my leash skills and learning to feel more comfortable and confident on walks.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m comfortable with people around my food and don’t show any food guarding toward them, but I may growl if another dog approaches while I’m eating, so giving me my own space at mealtimes is best. I rarely bark I settle calmly in a kennel. I’m comfortable using both indoor pee pads and going potty outdoors.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES    TAEGEUK'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2823215##

QUICK FACTS Name: Enyo Age: About 6 Months Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Corgi – Jindo Mix Color: White Weight: 6kg / 13.2lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was born in the countryside to a loving mom who did her best to care for me and my siblings. When rescuers learned about us, they wanted to save our whole family. Sadly, my mom couldn't leave, but they were able to bring my siblings and I to safety. Because of that second chance, I'm now safe and dreaming of a bright future. My journey may have started with uncertainty, but it's filled with hope now—and I'm waiting for a foster or forever family to help me write the happiest chapter yet.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a gentle little soul with a sweet and calm personality. At first, I might be a bit shy when meeting new people, but I don’t stay that way for long—once I feel comfortable, I quickly warm up and show my affectionate, loving side. I really enjoy being close to people and I’m quite affectionate, often showing my cute personality once I trust you. I also have a calm energy level for my age, and I tend to bring a peaceful, quiet presence wherever I go. I don’t think anyone has really heard me bark much at all. People often say I’m incredibly cute, with a bit of a corgi-like charm that makes me stand out in the sweetest way. With a little patience and love, I’ll blossom into a very affectionate companion who loves being close and sharing quiet, happy moments together.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy when meeting someone new, but a tasty treat is the fastest way to my heart! Once I know you, I warm up quickly and enjoy being petted and spending time together. I’m comfortable being picked up with support under my belly, which can make handling and caring for me easier. I haven’t had the opportunity to meet children under 13 years old yet, so my behavior around young children is still unknown. · With Dogs: I enjoy calmly greeting unfamiliar dogs when I meet them, taking the time to acknowledge them in a polite and friendly way, even if I don’t usually engage in play. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy outdoor activities and after spending time outside, I am happy to settle down and rest calmly. I am currently in training for walking on leash, and I am learning how to enjoy walks in a steady and controlled way.   TRAINING & HABITS I do not guard my food and am relaxed and comfortable around both people and other dogs when eating. I rarely bark and tend to stay quiet in most situations. I am calm and well-behaved when placed in a kennel or crate. I am potty-trained for both indoor pee pads and outdoor bathroom breaks.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
