Story
Ricky came us when his owner became homeless.  The foster mom noticed blood in his urine which prompted an immediate vet visit with diagnostics which = bladder stones  He is an active senior who loves to be with his family.  Currently he is working on losing a few pounds and is making good progress.  In addition to enjoying cuddling on the couch and giving kisses, he  loves going for walks in the neighborhood and playing with his family in a fenced yard Ricky is not a fan of other dogs on walks and is reactive.  He will bark and pull on leash. He can be quickly redirected and will walk away with a "let's go".  He is working on this behaviour and he would do best in a home as the only pet.     He can be left alone for a few hours at a time and is not destructive.  He is fully housetrained and will go to the door when he needs to be let out.   Ricky has recovered well from his surgery to remove bladder stones.  He has also received his vaccinations and had his teeth cleaned. While not a fan of baths he toughed it out and is now like a shiny new penny.  He is currently eating dry and wet urinary dog food without issue.     He is an intelligent and active dog who plays with his dog toys and knows the following commands - come, sit, off and bed.  He requires regular brushing to maintain his coat and control his shedding.    Ricky thinks he is a lap dog and is looking for a family he can cuddle up with while getting belly rubs and giving kisses.  While he has his own bed during the day, he sleeps with his foster family at night.     If you are looking for a sweet, loving and loyal friend Ricky is the "ticky" (ticket)       March 9, 2026, 8:36 am

Story
Hi, my name is Eunsong 🤍🐾 I’m a female Mini Jindo–Welsh Corgi mix, about 5 years old, and I weigh around 13kg (29 lbs). With my short little legs and round, sturdy body, people often find themselves smiling the moment they see me. I’m gentle, calm, and affectionate — the kind of dog who feels like she was born to be someone’s perfect companion. I truly love people and get along well with other dogs too. When you pet me, I’ll happily roll over and show you my belly, asking for more love. I express affection easily, and because I trust people and stay calm, I naturally help others feel relaxed and comfortable from our very first meeting — like a small angel quietly walking into your life. I’m also wonderful on walks. I don’t pull on the leash, and even in new environments, I walk confidently while enjoying my surroundings. I’m not easily frightened, so I adapt fairly quickly to unfamiliar places, making every walk peaceful and enjoyable. I was rescued from a shelter where I was at risk of euthanasia and spent time in a foster home, where I learned what family life feels like. Later, due to changes in circumstances, I moved to a training center. Thanks to my previous home experience, I adjusted to the new environment relatively quickly, and I continue to get along well with both people and other dogs here. While potty routines may not have been perfectly maintained in shelter or training environments, I have lived in a home before. With my future family, I’m expected to quickly settle back into a steady daily routine. My ideal family is one who gives love generously, values quiet companionship, and is ready to warmly continue a shared life at home with me. If I meet that family, I promise to give back unwavering trust, a deep sense of comfort and stability, and endless love 🤍

Story
ALL ABOUT ME  Name: Lou Age: 6 months old Gender: Female (Spayed)  Breed: Corgi-Jindo mix Colour: White Weight: 6kg / 13 lbs Microchipped: Yes   MY RESCUE STORY Hi there! I’m Lou. I had a scary start—I was rescued just in time from the euthanasia list at a city pound. Thankfully, I was given a second chance at life, and now I’m healthy, happy, and ready to find my forever family who will love me and keep me safe forever.   MY HEALTH Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete) I’ve been spayed and have no known health issues.   MY PERSONALITY I’m a small Jindo mix puppy, and I promise you’ll fall in love with me the moment we meet! I’m super adorable, full of charm, and absolutely lovely. I may have short little legs, but that doesn’t stop me from zooming around and showing off my energetic, playful side. I love running, exploring, and filling every moment with fun and excitement!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I absolutely love people! I enjoy meeting new friends and making connections wherever I go. I’m always happy to receive pets and attention, and I love showing my belly as a sign of trust—you can easily pick me up for cuddles too. I haven’t had much experience with children yet, but with my gentle and sweet nature, I’m sure I’ll do wonderfully with calm and respectful kids. With Dogs:  I’m not just friendly with people—I’m also a social butterfly with my dog friends! I love meeting new pups and playing with them, and running around together is one of my absolute favorite things. I get along great with dogs of all sizes and like to think of myself as a pup with manners. Even when another dog is a little pushy, I stay calm and peacefully walk away—I’m all about keeping things fun and drama-free! With Cats:  I haven’t met any cats yet, so my reaction is unknown.   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I have a medium to high energy level—just like a typical puppy! I love running around, exploring, and discovering everything around me. I need plenty of time to release my energy before I can settle down nicely indoors, but once I do, I’m happy to relax and enjoy some calm cuddles.   TRAINING & HABITS Even though I’m still a puppy, I’m quite a pro at walking on leash! I follow my handler’s lead nicely and am easygoing around both people and dogs—I don’t guard my food at all. Sometimes I bark to get attention or when I meet someone new for the first time, but I settle quickly. I also know how to rest calmly in my kennel and enjoy my quiet downtime.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a safe, structured, and calm environment. A family that enjoys spending quality time together indoors & outdoors. A family that can shower me with love and attention. A family that understands my high energy and that I’m still a young puppy figuring out the world. A family that is willing to guide me with patience and understanding as I grow into the amazing dog I’m meant to be!   SPECIAL NOTES Volunteers and staff say I’m such an adorable pup with so much potential! I love running and exploring, so at first, I’ll need a little help learning how to stay calm in my new home. I know that with the right family, love, and guidance, I’ll grow into a happy, well-behaved, and confident young lady ready to bring lots of joy to my forever family!   Lou's YouTube Playlist ##2615967##

QUICK FACTS Name: Gangcheol Age: About 2 Years Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo – Corgi Mix Color: Brown Weight: 14kg / 31lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I used to live at a scrapyard, where I was expected to guard the place. But I wasn’t very good at it. Instead of barking, I would wag my tail and happily greet anyone I met—even strangers. I’d roll over for belly rubs without a second thought, just happy to be around people. One day, I was given a chance to leave that life behind. That’s when I received my name, Gangcheol, a wish for me to grow strong and walk toward a brighter future. Now I’m safe, just as loving as ever, and ready to find a family who will cherish me for who I truly am—a dog who simply loves people.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Gangcheol, a sweet and easygoing dog with endless charm. I’m the kind of dog who will happily roll over and show my belly even to someone I’ve just met—I just love people that much! I’m also very tolerant and gentle, so I’m comfortable being touched anywhere. I have a great appetite, a playful and cheeky personality, and my short legs give me that adorable Jindo-Corgi charm that people can’t resist. I’m friendly, affectionate, and full of lovable quirks. I’m ready to become your loyal and easygoing companion. If you’re looking for a well-mannered buddy with a big heart, I might be the perfect match for you.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a very loving dog! I don’t just cuddle with people I know — I’ll happily walk up to new people, rub against them, and let them hold me in their arms and pet me right away. I’ll even roll over and show my belly to someone I just met — it’s my way of saying I feel safe and would love some belly rubs! · With Dogs: When I meet new dogs, I can feel a little unsure at first, so I appreciate having a bit of time to observe and adjust. Once I do, I get along well – I’m generally very friendly and comfortable with dogs who are around my size, and I also get along well with smaller pups. Friends with very high energy can feel a bit overwhelming for me, so I tend to do better with calmer, more gentle companions. I enjoy peaceful and easygoing friendships with other dogs! · With Cats: When I see a cat during a walk, I might look at out of curiosity, but I’ll follow my person nicely without any trouble. I’m a good listener and happy to stay focused on my human.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy outdoor activities like walks and exploring, and after some fun outside, I’m happy to settle down and rest quietly at home. I have experience going on walks and generally follow my person well. Sometimes, I may pull a bit when I want to go in a certain direction, but I stay connected and listen. If something scary appears, I might crouch down low to the ground because I feel nervous. With patience and gentle guidance, I’ll grow more confident and become an even better walking companion!   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food from people at all. But if another dog comes too close while I’m eating, I might give a little growl to say, “This is my food.” When I’m placed in a kennel, I stay calm and settle down nicely. I’m comfortable using both indoor pee pads and going potty outside, so I can adjust easily to your routine. However, if I go somewhere new, I might feel the urge to do a little marking at first. With guidance and consistency, I can learn the house rules.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES When in a new environment, I might feel the urge to do a little marking at first. With guidance and consistency, I can learn the house rules.   Gangcheol's Youtube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2689900##

Story
All About Me Name: Peanut Age: 4 years old Gender: Female Spayed: Scheduled Breed: Mixed Color: White Weight: 9 kg / 20 lbs Microchip: Yes   My Health I’m scheduled for an exam for a minor eye condition called a corneal dermoid it’s something that will be checked before adoption, just to make sure everything is okay. Otherwise, I am perfectly healthy and ready to find my forever home!   My Personality I have a gentle, thoughtful soul. When I meet new people, I like to take my time just a day or so to observe, understand, and feel secure. But once we’ve bonded, I’ll be by your side with quiet affection, soft eyes, and just the right amount of sweetness. I’m not the kind of girl who demands attention, but when you call my name, I listen. I enjoy a peaceful environment, and I’ll often show my affection by simply being near you, content and calm. I’m fine with being picked up, though I prefer when it's done slowly and gently it’s just my way of setting boundaries respectfully.   Social Skills - With People: I warm up slowly but sincerely. Treats help break the ice, and once I trust you, I become affectionate and loving. I haven’t had a chance to meet children under 13 yet, so I’d do best with older, dog-savvy kids or adults.   - With Other Dogs: I’m polite and friendly. I approach other dogs to say hello, especially those close to my size, but I usually prefer not to engage in rough-and-tumble play. If another dog is overly forward, I gently walk away.   - With Cats: I haven’t met any cats yet, so I can’t say for sure but I’m calm and open to learning.   On My Walks‍ I love my time outdoors it helps me relax and enjoy the world at my own pace. I do get excited and may pull on the leash a little, but I’m always tuned in to my person’s direction and happy to follow your lead.   Life at Home I’m peaceful and well-mannered at home. I rarely bark. I’m not possessive with food and get along just fine during mealtimes with both humans and other dogs. I prefer doing my business outside, and I’m used to that routine.   My Ideal Home What I’m hoping for is a quiet, loving home where I can truly exhale. A place where I’m understood, respected, and adored for the calm, loyal companion that I am. I’d do best with someone who can give me time to settle in, who appreciates soft affection over constant excitement. I’m not the kind of dog who rushes to win your heart but once I do, I’ll stay there forever. If you’re looking for a sweet, serene girl who will bring grace and warmth to your home, I’d love the chance to meet you. My journey has been long, but I know my forever family is out there and I’m ready to begin again.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here! Peanut’s Playlist ##2459123##

Story
🏠 Currently in a Toronto foster home Meet Kiri 🐾 A 3-year-old female Jindo–Welsh Corgi mix, affectionately known as a true short queen with her adorable little legs. She weighs around 10 kilos, making her the perfect compact companion. Kiri’s story is one of second chances. She was transferred to Dream Tails after facing euthanasia at a city shelter in Korea, and she’s now ready to begin a new chapter with a family of her own. Kiri loves people and thrives on affection. She enjoys being close, soaking up attention, and curling up for cuddles — her fur is wonderfully soft and comforting. She walks nicely on leash and gets along well with other dogs, making her an easy companion both at home and out on walks. Kiri may not have lived in a home before, so her future family should be prepared to gently guide her through potty training and daily routines. As she adjusts, she might show a bit of puppy mischief, which is completely normal for a dog learning about indoor life. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, she’ll settle in beautifully. Kiri has a medium energy level, meaning she enjoys daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation — but she’s just as happy relaxing and cuddling afterward. Are you ready to welcome this short queen into your heart and home?
