Story
Ricky is an approximately14 year-old neutered male Corgi (best guess) mix weighing approximately 40 pounds.  Ricky came into rescue when his owner of 10 years was no longer able to provide for him.   Speaking of Dogs quickly discovered that Ricky had bladder stones when he first arrived.  The stones have been successfully removed and he has fully recovered. He is currently on potassium citrate tablets 2x a day which he takes with his meals.  He is also on veterinary food to prevent crystals in his urine.  His last vet check showed that he is doing well and is crystal free.  He is happy and very proud of his speedy recovery and 10 pound weight loss!!!   Ricky is a loving and loyal dog who believes he is the perfect size to sit in your lap.  He adores putting his head on your lap and getting his ears rubbed. He will lean into your legs and put a paw in your lap if you stop petting him before he has had enough.    Ricky has 2 or 3  thirty minute walks each day as well as zoomies in the fully fenced backyard to help him maintain a healthy weight. He also thoroughly enjoys playing tug with his toys. Ricky is fully housetrained and sleeps throughout the night.  He has his own bed during the day but sleeps with his foster Mum at night.   He is also excellent at riding in the car.  He  looks forward to visiting his foster "Grandma" every chance he gets.  He loves it when Grandma rubs his belly and tells him he is a good boy.   He can also be left alone in the house for 4 or 5 hours at a time without incident. He will also let you know when he wants to go out for a pee break. Ricky can be vocal and will alert his foster family to anything he perceives to be unusual in his surroundings.  This includes people and other dogs. Ricky is the only pet in the house and he prefers to be the centre of attention.  He loves to watch tv with his people and happily waits to be told he can get up on the couch.  He also waits to be told he can go get his breakfast and dinner.  Best of all Ricky knows not to be underfoot when people are cooking in the kitchen.  He is a clever dog who learns quickly with positive reinforcement training.    Currently Ricky is working on his impulse to bark when people come to the door or pass him on the street.  Ricky can be redirected with a treat and then happily meets new people with big tail wags.  He has made friends with many of the neighbours. Ricky is more reactive to other dogs he may pass on his walks.    To help Ricky on his walks he wears a halti with a double lead to his collar.  While still a work in progress, Ricky is making improvements seeing other dogs on the street and associates the word "bed" with a direction to settle down.  Ricky also knows the following commands:  sit, stay, down, and off and pee. If you are looking for a smart, happy, playful, loyal and loving friend who wants to be your BFF then Ricky is the dog for you.  Here is a link to our adoption application:  https://www.speakingofdogs.com/adoption/dog-adoption-application-2/     June 18, 2026, 6:49 pm

Story
Hi future family, My name is Haeram, and I’m a 5-month-old Welsh Corgi × Jindo mix boy weighing around 8kg. I have short little legs, fluffy soft fur, and a bright happy smile that makes people laugh without even realizing it. Everywhere I go, people tell me how cute and cheerful I look! Before I was rescued, my sister and I were wandering around country roads together. We were still very young, and it was a dangerous place for puppies to grow up. Thankfully, kind people rescued us before anything bad happened, and now I’m safe, healthy, and waiting for my forever family. I really love people. Even when I meet someone for the first time, I usually walk over happily to say hello because I enjoy attention and affection so much. I also get along very well with other dogs, so I could fit nicely into a home with another furry sibling too. Even though I’m still just a puppy, I’m already trying my best to learn! My potty training success rate is very high, and I already know some basic commands like “sit,” “paw,” and “come.” I enjoy walks and love spending time doing activities with people. Being together makes me happiest. But I’m still only five months old. That means I’m still learning about the world every single day. When I move into a new home, I may feel nervous at first. I could make little potty mistakes while adjusting, or I might chew things and get playful because I’m curious about everything around me. Those aren’t “bad behaviors” — they’re simply part of growing up as a puppy. I’ll need time to learn your family’s routines, house rules, walking paths, and how to feel comfortable when left alone. If you guide me patiently and kindly, I promise I’ll learn quickly and grow into an amazing companion. I really love connecting with people, and I respond very well to praise and positive training. If we spend time walking, playing, learning, and building trust together, I know I’ll soon become a true member of your family. I may not be a “finished” dog yet, but that also means we can grow together. For a family who wants to experience the joy of raising a puppy, watching me learn new things, and making beautiful memories together, I know I could become a very special companion. I can already imagine myself following you around the house on my tiny little legs, wagging my tail, and being part of your everyday life. I’m waiting for the family who will walk beside me, grow with me, and love me forever. Love, Haeram 🐾

QUICK FACTS Name: Yogurt Age: About 6 Months Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Corgi – Jindo Mix Color: White and Brown Weight: 6kg / 13.2lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was born in the countryside to a loving mom who did her best to care for me and my siblings. When rescuers learned about us, they wanted to save our whole family. Sadly, my mom couldn't leave, but they were able to bring my siblings and I to safety. Because of that second chance, I'm now safe and dreaming of a bright future. My journey may have started with uncertainty, but it's filled with hope now—and I'm waiting for a foster or forever family to help me write the happiest chapter yet.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a sweet and gentle soul who just loves being around other dogs and people. At first, I might be a little shy when we meet, but don’t worry—that doesn’t last long. Once I feel safe and get to know you, I really open up and show my affectionate, playful side. I’m the type who enjoys close bonding and will happily show you my cute, loving personality. I get along very well with other dogs too—all my dog friends are calm, polite, and friendly, just like me. When it’s playtime, I do get excited and enjoy having fun, but I also know how to settle down and be gentle. People often say I’m incredibly cute and full of charm, and I think once you meet me, you might agree. I’m ready for the next step in my journey—with someone who will give me love, patience, and a forever home to shine in.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy when meeting someone new, but a tasty treat is the fastest way to my heart! Once I know you, I warm up quickly and enjoy being petted and spending time together. I’m comfortable being picked up with support under my belly, which can make handling and caring for me easier. I haven’t had the opportunity to meet children under 13 years old yet, so my behavior around young children is still unknown. · With Dogs: I enjoy calmly greeting unfamiliar dogs when I meet them, taking the time to acknowledge them in a polite and friendly way, even if I don’t usually engage in play. I tend to feel most comfortable around dogs that are close to my own size, and I generally show a friendly and easygoing attitude toward them. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy outdoor activities and after spending time outside, I am happy to settle down and rest calmly. I am currently in training for walking on leash, and I am learning how to enjoy walks in a steady and controlled way.   TRAINING & HABITS I do not guard my food and am relaxed and comfortable around both people and other dogs when eating. I rarely bark and tend to stay quiet in most situations. I am calm and well-behaved when placed in a kennel or crate. I am potty-trained for both indoor pee pads and outdoor bathroom breaks.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES    YOGURT'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2756920##

Story
All About Me Name: Peanut Age: 4 years old Gender: Female Spayed: Scheduled Breed: Mixed Color: White Weight: 9 kg / 20 lbs Microchip: Yes   My Health I’m scheduled for an exam for a minor eye condition called a corneal dermoid it’s something that will be checked before adoption, just to make sure everything is okay. Otherwise, I am perfectly healthy and ready to find my forever home!   My Personality I have a gentle, thoughtful soul. When I meet new people, I like to take my time just a day or so to observe, understand, and feel secure. But once we’ve bonded, I’ll be by your side with quiet affection, soft eyes, and just the right amount of sweetness. I’m not the kind of girl who demands attention, but when you call my name, I listen. I enjoy a peaceful environment, and I’ll often show my affection by simply being near you, content and calm. I’m fine with being picked up, though I prefer when it's done slowly and gently it’s just my way of setting boundaries respectfully.   Social Skills - With People: I warm up slowly but sincerely. Treats help break the ice, and once I trust you, I become affectionate and loving. I haven’t had a chance to meet children under 13 yet, so I’d do best with older, dog-savvy kids or adults.   - With Other Dogs: I’m polite and friendly. I approach other dogs to say hello, especially those close to my size, but I usually prefer not to engage in rough-and-tumble play. If another dog is overly forward, I gently walk away.   - With Cats: I haven’t met any cats yet, so I can’t say for sure but I’m calm and open to learning.   On My Walks‍ I love my time outdoors it helps me relax and enjoy the world at my own pace. I do get excited and may pull on the leash a little, but I’m always tuned in to my person’s direction and happy to follow your lead.   Life at Home I’m peaceful and well-mannered at home. I rarely bark. I’m not possessive with food and get along just fine during mealtimes with both humans and other dogs. I prefer doing my business outside, and I’m used to that routine.   My Ideal Home What I’m hoping for is a quiet, loving home where I can truly exhale. A place where I’m understood, respected, and adored for the calm, loyal companion that I am. I’d do best with someone who can give me time to settle in, who appreciates soft affection over constant excitement. I’m not the kind of dog who rushes to win your heart but once I do, I’ll stay there forever. If you’re looking for a sweet, serene girl who will bring grace and warmth to your home, I’d love the chance to meet you. My journey has been long, but I know my forever family is out there and I’m ready to begin again.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here! Peanut’s Playlist ##2459123##

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Manitto Age: 4 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Corgi Spitz mix Color: Brown, Black Weight: 9kg / 20lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was abandoned at a fishing site, left wandering around alone feeling scared and unsure of the world around me. It was a lonely and confusing time for me, not knowing where to go or who to trust. Thankfully, kind rescuers found me and brought me to safety before anything bad could happen. Now, I’m finally safe, cared for, and ready to leave those difficult memories behind as I search for a loving forever family to call my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a super friendly and bright boy with a happy, affectionate personality. I bond very easily with people and truly love being around my humans. I also rely a lot on people for emotional support and feel happiest when I’m close to someone I trust. And honestly, I’m even cuter and more handsome in real life — my charm really shines once you meet me in person.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I get along very well with people and absolutely love receiving affection, pets, and attention. I allow myself to be picked up, and once I feel comfortable and safe, I love showing my belly for extra rubs and cuddles. · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dogs and making new friends. I’m social and do well with dogs that are friendly and respectful toward me. That said, I’m also confident enough to stand my ground if another dog is being rude or overly pushy, so thoughtful and proper introductions are important when meeting new dog friends. · With Cats: I previously lived with a cat in my foster home for about a year and got along very well with my feline companion. Even during walks, I don’t pay much attention to cats and tend to calmly move along without much interest.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate to high energy level. I absolutely love spending time outdoors, exploring, and staying active, but once I’ve had my fun and exercise, I’m more than happy to come inside and snuggle up comfortably with my people.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk well on leash and follow my handler’s lead nicely during walks. I tend to feel more comfortable walking in quieter areas rather than busy, loud streets, but I’m improving and gaining confidence day by day. I have great manners around people during mealtimes and don’t guard my food from humans, though I can be a little sensitive when other dogs are nearby while I’m eating. I’m also a very quiet boy overall, rarely bark, and know how to rest calmly and quietly in my kennel. I’m comfortable using both pee pads indoors and going potty outside. In new environments, I may initially mark while adjusting to unfamiliar surroundings, so I’ll benefit from continued guidance, structure, and consistency as I settle into a home routine.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • A family that is understanding of my marking tendencies in new environments and willing to be patient, consistent, and supportive while I continue learning and adjusting   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a bright, affectionate, and people-oriented boy who forms strong bonds with my humans. Volunteers and staff often compliment how friendly, sweet, and handsome I am in person. I truly love being around people, receiving affection, and sharing everyday life with people. I also have a playful and adventurous side and enjoy spending time outdoors exploring the world. Once I’ve had my fun, I’m more than happy to come indoors and snuggle up comfortably beside my people. I get along well with both dogs and cats, making me a very adaptable companion for many different home environments. While I may need a little patience and guidance at first as I adjust to a new environment and routine, I’m eager to learn and continue improving every day. With consistency, understanding, and love, I know I’ll blossom into an incredibly loyal, loving, and well-balanced lifelong companion.   MANITTO'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2741123##
