Looking for a new FBF (furry best friend)? Look no further than Chantilly, hey, hey all you fabulous folks out there, that's lil ole me they are talking about!! I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I is a sweet, adorable, and playful 5/6-month-old puppy that is still in that spongey stage of life where I'm soaking up everything!! I has the sweetest nature and with my striking baby blues and charming personality I has that cuteness overload that will for sure win over your heart! I is ready to start this next chapter in life with lots of puppy kisses, tail wags and playtime with my new family!! Me, my sisters and our mom were found dumped along the side of the road. This wonderful rescue took us in and just look at me now...I have that innocent spirit that loves living life to the fullest, that energy that loves exploring the world around me and that playful demeanor that finds joy in everything!! I loves to run around and play with toys and all the other pups here at my foster home. With my sweet and playful nature I would be THEE perfectly pawsome companion for a family that would include me in all their daily going on's. I would also be that splendid addition to your family as a 'sibling' or hogging all the attention as your one and only. I'm always up for an adventure - I can't wait to see what the world has in store for me! Even though I'm just a pupster, I come in at about 18lbs and should be around 25-30lbs when I get myself all the way growed up. If you're looking for a furry friend to join you on ALL your adventures, I'm the perfect gal for that job! Don't let my shorter legs fool you, I can keep up with the best of 'em!! I do great with people both tall and small. I get on great with other pups and although I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet, at my tender age if introduced properly I should do fine with them too! I have a beautiful white coat that is super soft, made just for running your fingers thru as you're giving me lots of pets, ear scratches and belly rubs!! Win win for all of us! Mom is a short stubby legged gal that looks like maybe a Corgi/Cattledog mix and dad was a traveling salespup sweet talking his way thru town. I take after my mom with my shorter lil legs and long body. I am sooooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness on a family and be that lil heartbeat at your feet, so if you think I'd be a pawsome fit for you and your lifestyle, please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application! Story
Meet Nala Breed: Pembroke Welsh Corgi Age:  12/04/2024 Weight: 25 pounds currently Gender: Female (Spayed) Personality Nala is a bundle of joy and affection, always ready to brighten up your day with her infectious happiness. She loves nothing more than a good belly rub and is known to roll right over, inviting you to give her some love. Her friendly nature makes her an excellent companion for both humans and other dogs. She has a gentle disposition and is wonderful with children, making her a perfect family pet. Breed Information Pembroke Welsh Corgis are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and energetic personalities. Despite their small stature, they are sturdy and agile, often displaying a playful and spirited demeanor. Corgis are herding dogs by nature, so they require regular exercise and mental stimulation to keep them happy and healthy. What to Expect As a Corgi owner, you can expect a loyal companion who is eager to please. Nala will thrive in a home where she gets plenty of attention and companionship. Regular walks, playtime, and interaction with other dogs will keep her content. Her herding instincts may occasionally lead her to gently nip at heels, but with proper training, this can be managed. Owner's Responsibilities Exercise: Ensure Nala gets sufficient daily exercise to burn off her youthful energy. A combination of walks, playtime, and mental challenges will be ideal. Training: Enroll her in obedience classes to reinforce her social skills and manage any herding tendencies. Corgis are quick learners, so consistent training will yield great results. Grooming: Regular brushing is important to manage her shedding and keep her coat healthy. Corgis typically shed year-round, with heavier shedding during seasonal changes. Health Care: Keep up with regular vet check-ups and vaccinations. Be mindful of her diet to maintain a healthy weight, as Corgis can be prone to obesity. Affection and Socialization: Provide plenty of love and social interaction. Nala will thrive in an environment where she feels part of the family. Adopting Nala means committing to a lifelong friend who will bring joy and laughter into your life. Whether she's playing in the yard or snuggling up next to you on the couch, Nala is sure to be a beloved member of your family.   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please go to our website https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/ and fill out an application. HI - I'M FRANCO... I'm an 8-month-old mini-corgi-shepherd mix in need of a loving foster or forever home. I'm likely mixed with corgi due to my short little legs, and possibly have some Frenchie in me as well due to my Frenchie ears! I'm super cute! I weigh only 30 pounds and am a perfect size. I was rescued from a shelter in the middle of the California desert, where I was impounded as a stray. At the shelter, I was kenneled with multiple dogs and did well. I'm a bit shy at first but am now coming out of my shell and am doing great (I'm a bit serious in some of my earlier photos but am a happy boy now.) Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.

Meet Mr. Gold! Mr Gold and his best friend Rose were surrendered to a shelter for unknown reasons. They are now looking for a forever home to spend their golden years in together! Mr Gold is a sweet polite senior boy at 12 years old. We believe he is a corgi, spaniel mix. He is a low maintenance guy who enjoys an easy stroll followed by lots of relaxing. Him and Rose are very tidy in their room and are both house trained. They have done well with other dogs and we believe they would be just fine sharing a home with another canine pal. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Mr. Gold's forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website! Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines. PETNAME would do great in a home with...Cats : Dogs : Yep!  Kiddos : Yep!   ##2330896##

Story
Clarice is quite the sophisticated name for this girl, if she was your bestie you would probably call her Claire-Bear or Reese because it fits her fun-loving, warm side. If she was your bestie she would be the one who would say yes to an invite before you had a chance to explain the who/what/where. She is going, she will have a smile on, and she is guaranteed to be good company. We met Clarice on a dreary, cold miserable day and she managed to bring a double dose of sunshine. First, her face is adorable and her eyes sparkle. Second, she is so friendly and fun. In rescue it is always hard to pinpoint a breed but dogs like Clarice are especially fun challenges. Look at her, she is giving Collie/Corgi on the outside and all Labrador on the inside. Every person she met was as happy to meet her as she was to meet them, she exudes friendly and the cuteness is a bonus. Clarice is estimated to be just over a year old, weighs 43 lbs, and is not expected to get any bigger which makes her a perfect medium size adventure buddy. Take a look at her in all her goodness then come back to read more- https://youtu.be/7trJsypZ9j8 Clarice was introduced to a handful of dogs and she was consistently friendly. When introduced on-leash she was polite and quick to offer an invitation to play. Other dogs were dropped into the play-yard and she greeted them with the same friendly, playful invitation. She was fast-friends with a large, male shepherd who enjoyed a game of chase just as much as she did. With dogs that had a lower energy level she was wonderful at reading them, she would invite them to play without being pushy and would keep things light hearted. Clarice would love a forever home with an equally playful dog to bounce around with. Her love of chase would be best suited for a home with a yard but she could also adapt to an active household that can provide her with exercise and mental stimulation. She’s shown a natural skill reading other dogs, knowing when to play and when to keep things mellow, making her an ideal companion for a moderately playful canine sibling or a regular at your local doggie-daycare. While Clarice is full of enthusiasm, she’s also a quick learner. She’s still working on perfecting her leash manners, but at a year old, she has a great base. Her friendly nature with people and dogs can lead to her occasionally pulling to say hi. With a little training and practice, she’s going to be a walking pro who makes you proud. Clarice is a joy with people—so affectionate and sweet that she’ll happily roll over for belly rubs at any opportunity. During her touch test, she was quick to give kisses and showed how tolerant is, letting us pick her up without any fuss. If you have an open-door policy or love hosting, she would be a fantastic addition to your welcoming committee. She is going to spread good-vibes and may even be the biggest hit. If you’re looking for a bright-eyed, mid-sized bundle of joy who’s as ready for an adventure as she is for cuddles, Clarice is your girl. With her people-loving nature and playful spirit, she’s sure to be the best kind of companion—one who makes every day a little brighter. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!  Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.  The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
