Story
Dobby is beautiful with deep brown eyes and soft yellow fur- we don't know his mix - he could have a little lab, golden, he's a smaller longer bodied dog. He takes a minute to warm up to other dogs, but then he is very playful. Dobby is energetic and is getting the hang of housetraining. In a quiet and consistent and quiet household, he should do well. Dobby can jump and climb fencing, so he will need a family who will regularly walk him and not leave him on his own outside (even in a fenced yard). To adopt one of our animals, the first step is filling out OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://tapsusa.org/why-adopt/application/ (Please copy and paste the link into your browser.) Please make sure you get a confirmation that your application has been submitted. If you are a match for one of our pets, we will reach out to you to schedule a meet and greet. All meet and greets are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY The Animal Protectorates c/o Friendsville Animal Center 706 Kiser Station Road Friendsville, TN 37737 All animals are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before they go to new homes because that's the responsible way to keep them all safe. We only adopt to local homes in the immediate vicinity because we utilize our volunteer force to process home visits. Photos of your home, letters of reference are not acceptable which is why we only adopt locally. Only in very rare circumstances do we adopt out of area. Examples of this would be finding the perfect home for a senior animal or one that has other special needs that we have not been able to place locally for an extended period of time. Thank you for wanting to adopt.

Story
My name is Pippa. I am an 11 month old Corgi/terrier mix. I weigh 28 lbs. I love to give hugs and kisses. I love belly rubs and pats and sleeping in bed with my people. I rarely bark. At first, I will be reserved but quickly warm up to everyone. I hate squirrels but like other dogs. I don't think I know what a cat is. I can use a doggy door, am not afraid of crates, but don't really like the door to be closed on me. I am dark brown with golden undertones and am growing the cutest goatee. My tail can unfurl at any time. If you are looking for a smaller, scruffy, loving dog, than I am the one for you!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Meet Shiloh; a Handsome. • Hunky low rider Prior DNA test showed Corgi, Bassett hound and Husky He keeps a clean crate and coat.House broken/crate trained and walks good on a leash. Good riding in the car. Low-maintenance, often independent. He likes loving only on his own terms, Highly smart, but might want to use his wit to manipulate situations. Can and will destroy a stuffed animal. He literally loves them to death. He is comical. He will push, toss and nudge the stuffed animal in the long run .. the toy will die but he Loves to carry a toy around in his mouth. He prefers being indoors with air conditioning. kinda ignores the other dogs around. He is fine around other dogs, but kinda ignores the other dogs around. He doesn't want other dogs in his face. He tends to mind his other business. But he would be best with a dog that can be confident enough to not let him take over. Shiloh loves to run and off-leash, so a fenced in yard is needed. He is not good with kids. He does not like all the chaos that comes with a home with children. He will also try to herd or attack the vacuum and lawn mower as a "predator". If other dogs are too rambunctious , he will throw a flag on the field. He will not jump on furniture (because he can't/short legs) Shiloh will need a home that will set boundaries, understand when he is communicating emotional discomfort, and offer a calmer, more respectful environment. Shiloh needs someone that understands he has a living soul, opinions, thoughts and feelings. He is looking for a mutual respectful relationship. He doesn't want to be someone's baby. He is a grown up, looking for a partnership in life. born 9/30/2019 Adopted out in 2020 but returned 08/2025 due to life changes in the home (human babies) Up to date on all vaccines including rabies Micro-chipped & Heart worm tested neg. A diet with fish oil or salmon sensitive skin dog food recommended. All adoptions come with a 14 day trial period, and post adoption support via a professional dog trainer. A new leash, collar, transition food will be included with his adoption. Adoption fees Can be covered via cash, PayPal or Venmo at the time of pick up. If you are looking for a cool little low rider, this is your boy
