Story
Meet Charley 💙 - AVAILABLE for adoption. Charley is a 3 year-old, 38-pound Border Collie/Corgi mix, healthy, neutered, heartworm negative and fully vaccinated. He has beautiful blue-and-brown eyes and an even more beautiful heart. He is simply one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet. Charley loves everyone — people, children, older adults, and other dogs. He has never met a stranger. If you’re running for office, Charley would happily help you campaign because he’d make friends with the whole neighborhood in no time. He would fit beautifully into a busy home, greeting visitors with a happy tail wag and a friendly hello. He would also be just as content in a quieter home where he can be someone’s devoted companion. If you work from home, don’t be surprised if Charley appoints himself your assistant and stays close by all day.
Charley is a little shadow. He loves to follow his person from room to room and is happiest when he can be near you, getting pets or curling up close. He doesn’t show signs of separation anxiety, but he can be a little vocal if he knows you’re nearby and he can’t get to you. We think he may simply need a little time to fully understand that he is safe, loved, and not going to be left behind.
The perfect family for Charley is one with plenty of love, affection, and cuddles to give. In return, he will give you loyalty, companionship, tail wags, and a whole lot of love.
