Meet Dreya — a diamond in the rough searching for her unicorn adopter. Dreya was originally found on the side of the road and came to us fearful, territorial, and reactive toward men. Since being in our care, she has made incredible progress through patience, consistency, and rehabilitation. Now, Dreya is a sweet, loving girl who enjoys cuddling with her humans and being close to her people. She is very teachable, responds well to structure and routine, and continues to grow in confidence every day. Dreya can be dog selective, but has done well with many dogs in and out of the rescue. We are happy to help with introductions and discuss dogs she has previously gotten along with. She would do best in a home with a secure backyard, as she does not like going potty on a leash. She is potty trained, house trained, has great recall, knows how to sit, and absolutely loves fetch — she’ll even toss the toy back to you to keep playing! Dreya is looking for a patient, understanding adopter willing to continue helping her build trust and confidence. In return, she’ll give endless love and loyalty.
