Story
He is a rescue from a shelter in Austin. He is sweet, loyal, likes laying in his bed. We believe he is around 8 years old. He will play with the younger dog in the house but then gets tired and wants to lay down in his bed. He doesn't like thunderstorms or fireworks. He also will not go out in the rain to use the bathroom. He has used dog pads in the past. A doggie door would be a plus. We have him on a mix of kibble and homemade food. The homemade food is actually cheaper and we know what's in it. It helps with constipation and anything that might make him sick. Any other questions can be addressed at a later time.

Story
If we had to appoint a class clown, Callie would be our girl! She accidentally trips over her own excitement… then gets the zoomies about it. 🤭This happy-go-lucky girl lives life with one goal: have fun and make sure everyone around her does too. Whether she’s tearing around with her signature happy zoomies, making you laugh with her goofy antics, or showing off that huge smile, Callie has a way of turning an ordinary day into a great one. She’s incredibly friendly with everyone she meets and seems to think strangers are just friends she hasn’t introduced herself to yet.Callie is working on her basics and putting a lot of effort into her leash manners! She gets very excited when it’s time for a walk, but once she’s had a chance to sniff a few spots and take a potty break, she settles in beautifully and enjoys walking alongside her handler. She also has a serious love for toys, especially stuffies! If you stop by her kennel, there’s a good chance she’ll proudly show off one of her favorites. Just don’t expect her to hand it over without a little game of tug of war first! Callie has tested positive for heartworms, but HSNBA is committed to helping her every step of the way. Unfortunately the shelter is not an ideal place for a dog to undergo heart worm treatment as they need a calm, quiet environment to heal. HSNBA will cover the full cost of her heartworm treatment and support her future family throughout the entire process. The only thing Callie needs is a loving home where she can recover in a calm, quiet environment while she heals. If your home could use a little more laughter, a lot more smiles, and a best friend who reminds you to enjoy the little things, Callie is ready to trade her kennel for a couch! I have tested heartworm positive. This means I have a parasite and need treatment. While my friends at HSNBA desperately want to help me, the shelter is too stressful an environment to undertake treatment and treatment itself is very expensive. The shelter has a few options to help with treatment, and if I steal your heart you should talk with them and your vet about what my treatment is like. For more information on heartworms, please visit the American Heartworm Society here https://www.heartwormsociety.org/pet-owner-resources/heartworm-basicsHSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight. Story
Hi there! 👋I'm officially putting in my notice as Susan's babysitter. I've been keeping an eye on her for quite a while now, and I've decided I'm ready to retire from the job. It's time for a place of my own!So... how comfy is your couch? Even better—do you happen to have room for a new roommate?I'm sweet, friendly, and always appreciative of love and affection. I don't take up much space, I'm an excellent snuggle buddy, and I'm perfectly happy to curl up beside you for movie night—just don't be surprised if I snooze through the best part.I've got a happy-go-lucky attitude and I'm hoping to find someone just as kind and easygoing to share life with. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will gladly trade cuddles for a forever home, I think we might be a perfect match!HSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight. Story
We adopted katara off of Facebook marketplace, we loved her and her owner at the time didn’t seem to put a lot of effort into her. He stated she was potty trained, once we got home we learned that was not true. She is and isn’t she goes on pottie pads but will go outside too. We were trying to figure out why this is weather anxiety or can’t hold it due to me and my husband working 8hrs a day. We sadly haven’t pinned it but, we make do since she is good with potty pads. She is a HUGE cuddle bug almost suffocating but, she does it with so much love! ❤️ For a little body she sure has a lot of energy so she loves tennis balls will play with out her toys but you will win her over with tennis balls. We love her so much all her little characteristics melt your heart… the only reason we are doing this as a VERY last resort is because out 7 year old dog just can’t get along with her. They both bump heads trying to be the dominant girls of the house and our older girl is just to hard on her.

Story
Glory is a 10 month old Chihuahua mix.  Her life up to this point has been living in a cramped apartment with 11 other dogs and 2 people.  Until just a few weeks ago, she was not aware that there were other people or dogs in the world.   She is very timid and we are working with her socialization.  She needs someone with the patience to guide her into being the real sweet dog we know she can be.    https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/57447/generic ##2785943##
