Baxter is an exuberant young dog who loves life and seems determined to live it to the fullest. His huge brown eyes are beautiful, and his Corgi & Feist like body at only 20 lbs is athletic. Baxter is especially intuitive to people's emotions and seems to sense when someone is sad and needs a bit of love. He is clever and funny and very loving. Baxter's ideal home would be one where he gets lots of love! This dog loves people! He also loves other dogs and children. He really loves children! He has lived with cats as well. He is crate trained. Baxter is lively and engaging, although he also loves to snuggle. He will lay across your lap, happy to be close, knowing he is safe. Story
Two years old, and still is pretty much a puppy. He needs someone who can help him with his anxiety and excitement reactivity. He has really bad separation anxiety and needs someone who can preferably be there with him while that gets worked out. He’s really sweet and loves people but is skeptical about dogs. I would be careful bringing him around other dogs especially bigger dogs as he’s a little more fearful of them, but generally likes hanging out with smaller dogs. I would also be careful with small kids. Even though he loves them, he’s been known to jump, and might get too excited. He is crate trained, but with his separation anxiety he can’t be left in the crate all alone in the house. Overall Reggie needs someone who has a good amount of time for him as well as experience in how to handle a herding breed/corgi. We wish we could keep him, but with moving, as well as our change in finances, this is our last resort. Please help us find a good home for Reggie.

You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on July 10th and arrive on July 11th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 6/14/26 Dog Name: Gator Sex: Male Estimated Breed: Corgi/Spaniel Mix Approximate Age: 2 years Approximate Weight: 26 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Neutered  Description: Gator was found in a town known to be unkind to stray dogs. Fortunately for him he found a very sweet family to keep him safe until our rescue partners could step in. This boy is just gorgeous and so unique. We unsure of his breed mix but he has a soft medium length coat, a fluffy tail and beautiful deep red markings. Talk about a story book pup, he is just precious! Adoption Fee: $650We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. June 17, 2026, 11:28 pm

Story
I'm 20 lbs, and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $400 Heaven is a gentle, sweet soul who is ready to find a forever family of her very own. She came to the shelter as the devoted mama of seven beautiful puppies after being trapped on a property where she had been running loose. Her puppies have all found homes, and now it’s finally Heaven’s turn to be someone’s baby. This sweet girl can be shy and unsure, especially in new situations, but beneath her timid exterior is a loving heart just waiting to blossom. With patience, understanding, and a little time, her affectionate personality begins to shine, and watching her confidence grow is incredibly rewarding. Heaven would do best with a special family that will let her adjust at her own pace and give her the grace she needs to feel safe. A confident, friendly dog in the home would be a wonderful companion to help show her the ropes and reassure her that everything is going to be okay. After spending so much of her life caring for others and simply trying to survive, Heaven deserves a family that will shower her with the love she’s always deserved. If you have a patient heart and room in your home for a truly special girl, Heaven is ready to start her happily ever after. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown. We look forward to seeing you soon! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Owen. I'm a cute stubby guy, they say.  I ended up at a shelter and was put on the euthanasia list, but I got really lucky and was given a second chance. I’m a sweet, happy, easygoing guy who is always wagging my tail and ready to make new friends. I LOVE people and do great with all dogs I meet. Playing with my dog friends is one of my favorite things, and I’m happiest just being part of the family. I’m also an easy house guest — I’m not a barker, and I use the potty door like a pro. I sit nicely for bath time and am eager to please. I’m neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, protected with ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, and I’m 4DX negative. My adoption fee is $400. If you think we might be a good match, you can apply for me at www.adoggie4you.org. I’m currently in Texas, but I can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and along the East Coast. If I need a ride, there’s an additional $225 transport fee. (I’m not able to travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state rules.)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 17, 2026, 5:23 pm
