Story
Mr. Marvel or Marv is doing great. He is a 8 year old Coton de Tulear, which means he is very soft and cuddly. He’s been on a winning streak in terms of house breaking. His foster works from home and he’s the perfect office buddy. He is quiet, loves to nap. He LOVES being held and getting all the affection. He is destined to be a lap dog. He does well with other dogs big and small. Marv is super submissive. He would probably do well with cats because he has no prey drive and has little interest in the other dogs he has been around. He would also probably do well with kids as he is super sweet and just wants to be loved (and he has no teeth). He does really well on walks. The groomer said he’s the perfect client. Can’t say enough positive about Marv as he is literally loved by every person he meets. He hates being alone or crated. He barks a lot and so being alone obviously stresses him out. He loves his person and doesn’t want to be away from them. He’s been a constant shadow for his foster human, so he is taken everywhere. He just sits in the car while running errands or a “purse dog” if the place is pet friendly. He will thrive in an environment with companions most of the time. -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
Debussy is a 3 year old, 14 pound Coton de Tulear. He is a very sweet, and skittish of humans, but has made great progress. He will come up and sniff your hand but backs away if you try to pet him. When he’s picked up he enjoys the petting and will fall asleep in your lap. His favorite spot is on the couch with his humans. He has favorite toys he plays with. The ball that has treats inside is his favorite. He’s good on a leash and loves to sniff everything in sight. In the yard he enjoys the freedom to run. He’s treat motivated and is working on the sit command. He sleeps in soft side pen in the bedroom He doesn’t guard his food. You can take away his food bowl or treat without an issue. He’s not possessive of his human but has latched onto someone. When they leave the house he’s okay with hanging out with someone else. He likes other dogs but skittish of people. Not sure how he is with children. He doesn’t mind car rides, although he might be nervous at first. -----

Coco has seen & witnessed evil in life. She was pulled out of a slaughterhouse with several of our other rescues. Soul destroying to think of what she has been through & yet she still loves human beings even after everything she has seen, heard & her previous life. We cannot even begin to imagine what Coco witnessed & heard when she was at the slaughterhouse. How Coco ended up in a slaughterhouse for human consumption & yes you did read that correctly, we will never know? What we do know is, she was pulled out of there by our outstanding Chinese rescuer just in time. Working with one of our truly devoted, dedicated & absolutely outstanding Chinese rescuers she rescued Coco & many others for us. Without this beloved rescuer going in & getting Coco out, her fate was a torturous death. We believe every sweet soul such as Coco & her friends deserves to be loved & cherished & given the chance to have a wonderful life. Now Coco is looking for a special family to cherish her & be patient with her & remember what this beautiful soul has been through & a family that meets all her needs. Coco was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely thankful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough. Coco was bought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. For everything that Coco has been through she still loves humans & will get on her back for you to rub her belly, she loves her belly to be rubbed. She will even put her paws on you for cuddles just as she cuddles into you while sleeping next to you. She is the most beautiful soul & up for an adventure. She just wants you to love her & she will love you back. She adores being hugged & held because the reality is we are the first real people in her life to show her such true love & affection apart for a very short amount of time in China. She is a really smart girl too because on the day of arrival in her foster home she taught herself to run up hardwood stairs & follow her foster mum. When she finds people who love her they become his world. She is such a soft gentle soul her foster mum said with a very sweet personality. She loves to run & play with her foster siblings & must go to a home with another dog who will play with her. She loves a good outfit & will get ready for you to put one on her. Coco eats a clean diet, meaning raw fruits, raw vegetables, 70 % raw proteins, grains, fats & supplements. She also enjoys collagen sticks & bully sticks. All of her treats are homemade Coco has been taught to walk on harness & leash & has been doing wonderful. She would need continued work walking on her harness & leash. Coco is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Coco adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing him, cleaning his eyes, grooming her, baths, the hairdryer she loves it all. She also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Coco & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. So far she has not started showing interest in toys in her foster home. Coco has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride. She is such an amazing, loving little lady. With Coco we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lad only. Please do not apply with the intent to crate this girl. We are also looking for a forever home for Coco where someone is home during the day or Coco can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Did we mention this girl loves a good outfit too. Coco is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be very patient with her & understanding. Coco has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & enjoys their company. She can be found at times snuggled up to her foster siblings & will want to sleep in bed with you & she does in her current loving foster home. She must go to a forever home with other playful dogs in the home. She will jump at the side of the bed to be picked up so she can get in. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Coco’s new forever home if it’s a free standing home. Coco is now roughly 18.74 lbs & 3 years old. She is spayed & possibly a bichon frise & what she is mixed with we are not sure? She is microchipped, up to date on her shots including DHLPP, rabies & dewormed. Once these shots expire we will not redo them except rabies as we will not over vaccinate our beloved dogs. We have spent over $2000 on Coco with bringing her to the US with her travel airfare paying for her medical care, including, shots, spay microchip etc, than her adoption fee comes close to covering. Coco has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have not had Coco with small children so we do not recommend children, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & animals. We were not there when Coco was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Coco’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Coco potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Coco & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit using Zoom followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Coco who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this lovely sweet lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. Coco has an adoption fee of $875 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.

At the age of merely 1 year old, Amalia was going to lose her life in one of the highest kill shelters in CA as no one was coming to save her. Pictures of her & a video was posted on FB of Amalia sitting in the shelter just begging for someone to come save her. It ripped our hearts out & we could not bare to let her lose her beautiful life. She was showing signs of neurological problems per the shelter & weighed a measly 5lbs. She was clearly almost starved to death at 5lbs. We got her out of the shelter & gave her food immediately as she was absolutely famished. She was taken straight to our vets in CA & to say he was shocked that’s an understatement. He was lost for words as we believe he thought she was not going to make it. It was extremely evident that Amalia had spent her whole life in a crate & was malnourished & that was what was causing the issues, growing in a small cage & malnutrition. Then not being able to move around in that crate. Amalia went straight into her loving foster home & the slow process began of getting calories & nutrition into her & not overwhelming her tiny frail underweight body. She started off having several small meals a day which were increased to more small meals even up until just before bed & then she started to flourish & thrive & we seen no signs whatsoever of any neurological issues. Our girl is a fighter & she wanted to live & she is now full of so much love, joy & happiness thanks to her dedicated foster mum. Our beautiful Amalia will now be looking for a home to cherish her. Amalia is being brought back to WA from CA. Amalia looks straight into your soul & your eyes with gratitude & adores being held, cuddled & played with. She has flourished in her foster home. At first she could not stand for long as she had zero energy to hold herself up. We have all of the videos & phots of the progress of Amelia’s recovery back to health & love we will gladly share with her forever home. She now has the zoomies many times a day & is so grateful to her dedicated foster mum for saving her life. She does have that cheeky puppy side of her & if some things are left out she will get into them so that has to be kept in mind with this angel & her foster family has been working with her on her puppy traits. She absolutely adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, we don’t know if this is something she did get to experience ever until she was rescued. She enjoys sleeping with her foster siblings & in bed with you. She can be found sitting with her foster siblings with the dogs & cats on the couch or bed. Amalia loves a good outfit & adores her toys now she knows what they are. Amalia is wonderful with her baths & grooms as she has learnt since we got her to have them. Amalia loves to eat & is a wonderful eater now & she is not shy about that. She eats a clean diet of, 70% raw proteins, fruits, vegetables a small of grains, along with different supplements & fats. She also loves collagen sticks & bully sticks. She is the nicest shi tzu angel her foster mum said they have ever fostered. In her current foster home she enjoys going into the backyard & sunning herself & running & playing with her dog friends. She does walk really well on a harness & leash & has been taught since she has been in her devoted foster home. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. Amalia as you can imagine spent such a long time in a caged environment. Please do not say you won’t crate her & then go & crate her, that is unacceptable. We are also looking for a forever home for Amalia where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Amalia is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her & never give up on her. Amalia loves her dog & cat friends so much & she enjoys being with them & has never met a dog she doesn’t like. She does not discriminate against breeds. We currently have her with other dogs in her loving foster home & she plays non stop with them so it’s mandatory for her to go to a forever home with another young dog or dogs in the home for her to thrive. Amalia needs a fully fenced backyard if it’s a freestanding house. Amalia is roughly now 8 lbs, & perhaps 1 year old & possibly a shi tzu but what she is mixed with we are not sure. She is female, we are getting her spayed now she is healthy. She got her shots in the shelter, including DHPP, rabies. But once these shots expire we will not redo them as we do not over vaccinate our beloved dogs & will only redo the rabies. Amalia has been around cats since being in the rescue in her loving foster home but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Casper & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. We will only be accepting applications for Casper who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this lovely sweet boy. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. Casper has an adoption fee of $875 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.
