This boy is a special boy, he is so loving & devoted to you. Soul destroying to think of what he has been through & yet he still loves human beings even after everything they have done to him. We cannot even begin to imagine what Miles witnessed & heard when he was at the slaughterhouse, how Miles ended up in a slaughterhouse for human consumption & yes you did read that correctly, we will never know? What we do know is, he was pulled out of there by our outstanding Chinese rescuer just in time. It’s absolutely soul destroying to think about the horrific situation he ended up in. Working with one of our truly devoted, dedicated & absolutely outstanding Chinese rescuers she rescued Miles & many others for us. Without this beloved rescuer going in & getting Miles out, his fate was a torturous death. She transferred Miles to her own rescue & covid had hit & the waiting began. Along with Miles & many other sweet souls she got well & they waited to come to the US. This became a very extremely expensive situation with covid. We were finally able to bring everyone back through cargo which is an astronomical expense per dog, but we believe every sweet soul such as Miles & his & friends deserves to be loved & cherished & given the chance to have a wonderful life. Now Miles is looking for a special family to cherish him & be patient with him & remember what this beautiful soul has been through & a family that meets all his needs. Miles was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely thankful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough. Miles was bought back to the USA where he is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. Talk about melt your heart & love you to pieces, that’s Miles his foster family said. He is the sweetest boy who looks at you with such gratitude & just wants to be your everything. Wherever you are, he wants to be. His foster family said he will want to sleep in bed with you & will snuggle up with the other dogs too. He does eat clean in his foster home, meaning, grains, fruits, vegetables, proteins & supplements. He is also great about wearing outfits & being amenable to all situations. He adores being hugged & held because the reality is we are the first real people in his life to show him such true love & affection. He also is very loyal. Miles has been taught to walk on a harness & leash since being in the rescue & in his foster home & considering we believe we are the first people to teach him how to go on walks, he is a wonderful walker. Miles is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Miles adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing his, cleaning his eyes, grooming he, he loves it all. He does well with his baths & is so good with the hairdryer. He also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Miles & we have been excited to change his world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. He likes laying on you when he is with you or on comfy blankets. Miles has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride. He is such an amazing, loving little lad. He just sits back & enjoys the journey. With Miles we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lad only. We are also looking for a forever home for Miles where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. Miles is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be very patient with him & understanding. Miles has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & enjoys their company but could go to a forever home as the only dog. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Miles new forever home. Meaning he can live in a condo or apartment. Miles is now roughly 9 lbs & is 8 years old & a shi tzu & what he is mixed with we are not sure? He is neutered & male, he had a dental/scale & polish along with dental x-rays. He 2 teeth removed, 1 molar & 1 premolar. He has a grade 4 out of 6 heart murmur. He was treated for dermatitis with antibiotics. He is microchipped, up to date on his shots including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Miles with bringing him to the US with his travel airfare costs, without anything else then on top of that paying for his medical care & boarding fees, including a dental/scale & polish, shots, microchip etc, than his adoption fee comes close to covering. Miles has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have have not had Miles with small children so we do not recommend children, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & animals. We were not there when Miles was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Miles friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Miles potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Hi! My name is Sid and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good samaritan on May 1, 2023.I weigh about 5 lbs and am considered a `small breed` dog. I am pretty thin so I ideally should be around 8-10 lbs at a healthy weight.I must admit I can be a tad shy at first around new people, but once I get to know you I become a sweetheart and just want to lean against you to get pets.I can be head shy and don`t like any fast movements so I would thrive best in a home without younger chiildren.If you have been looking for a cute little companion to add to your family please come down to RASKC to visit me! :)My personality color is BLUE. I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Meet Osito and Oreo! This cute duo is just 8 months old. They came to us in a bit of a sorry state, with lots matted fur and other signs of neglect. They have been settling in one of our foster homes and are doing great. They are a happy and playful pair. They love playing in the yard, following their people around and just spread sunshine wherever they go.  Oreo (female) appears to be deaf and she likes to follow Osito (male) around. If possible we would like to keep them together as they seem quite attached to each other. They will a fun addition to any family. They currently live with two kids and do very well.  From their foster family: This fun loving pair of pups will give you all the love and attention! Oreo, the smaller female, just wants to be your lap dog and cuddle all day long. Osito, the male, is up for a long walk or hike, but then good at relaxing and having his belly rubbed. They’re a bunch of clowns with their puppy energy, chasing each other and wrestling while stealing socks and carrying their toys all over the place.  A fenced yard is a must, as they love to go in and out on their own, and are mostly good at pottying outside. Some help with leash walking and respecting boundaries is needed, as they are still puppies!  Osito and Oreo will be vaccinated, spayed/neutered, chipped. Meet Diamond! She's super sweet, snuggly and playful. This adorable senior gal is around 10.5 years old and 18 pounds. She doesn’t have the best sight or hearing anymore, but that doesn’t stop her from loving with her whole heart. She had a dental and bloodwork, so she’s doing well health-wise. She doesn’t have a lot of teeth and prefers wet food, but she’s not super picky. She's pee pad trained and gets along great with other dogs, cats and kids. This beautiful face is so stunning & just wants to be loved but yet again her story begins with such great sadness. Lovely Dong Baek was hit by car on the brutal streets of Korea & unfortunately the impact of the car broke her right front leg & she was left there. Thankfully a kind person found her & took her to the kill shelter where our truly outstanding Korean rescuers went in & rescued Dong Baek. They got her the surgery she needed to repair her little broken leg & discovered she was heart worm positive & treated her, so this poor girl could not catch a break. Unfortunately no one in Korea wanted to open up their hearts & home to Dong Baek so here she is now ready to find that special home who is waiting for this little lady. Dong Baek was rescued by the amazing Korean rescue & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Korean rescue & we are so extremely grateful for what they do day in & day out for these babies & there is also such a great financial responsibility when rescuing these babies so we cannot begin to thank them enough. Dong Baek was bought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. This little lady when you first meet her is a little shy & uncertain but once she knows & trusts you, you are good. She has been to hell & back & for everything that she has been through she is doing amazing. We got her re-tested for heart worm when she first arrived but unfortunately she was still heart worm positive so we treated her & got her well & now she is finally negative & had been for a while. Her foster mum said she lets you pick her up, snuggle with her & hug her. She is the sweetest happiest girl you will have the pleasure of meeting. Her foster mum said she loves a good outfit & adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets & will want to sleep in bed with you along with the other dogs. She also said she is really good with being bathed & dried by the hairdryer & such a social butterfly. We don’t think she ever received this much love before but she radiates her appreciation with us. When we first got her she had a limp & it was very concerning that the pin would need to be removed from her leg. But now since being fed a healthy diet, being loved, getting exercise & looked after the limp has gone & our vets were extremely surprised it was no longer there. We have been working with her on her leash & harness & does really well considering but, she still would need continued work as this is all new to her. When we walk her now she has not been showing any signs of being hit by a car. Dong Baek loves to run & play & adores her dog friends so much. Dong Baek loves to eat, since she came into the rescue she has put on 4 lbs. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Dong Baek & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. Dong Baek’s new forever home must have a fully fenced backyard. Dong Baek rides well in the car & we are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. Dong Baek does not like crates. We are also looking for a forever home for Dong Baek where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Dong Baek is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her. She had a broken right fright leg from being hit by a car in Korea & was left on the streets & taken to the shelter by a kind person & rescued by our rescuer who had a surgery on her leg in Korea to repair it. Our vets noticed a inconsistent limp when walking originally when we got her but since being with us the limp has gone & you would never know now she was hit by a car in Korea. She has a pin in her leg from her surgery from Korea & if ever it bothers her she may need it removed one day or she may not our vets said. She was also heart worm positive in Korea & treated for it. She was tested twice & treated for heart worm with us & is negative & had been for quite some time. She is 3 years old & perhaps a papillon mix, what she is mixed with we are not sure, female, she is spayed, she got a dental scale & polish, dental x-rays & a minor incisor removed. She is microchipped, up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Dong Baek with bringing her to the US with her travel costs, her cargo fees, her medical care, dental scale & polish, boarding fees etc & bringing her to WA than her adoption fee comes close to covering. Dong Baek has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. The heinous life Iris lived before we rescued her is unacceptable. Iris’s mind body & soul was been used as a breeding machine in a puppy mill in Missouri to make money off her back & had we not bid on her & all the other amazing dogs they would of been sold again to continued to be used to breed & live a disgusting life in a cage. We were able to bid on her & in fact bought her to stop having a life of misery over & over again for evil human beings to make money off her. Living her life outside in the stinking heat day after day then in the freezing cold in winter time in a metal tin can of a shed was over. Her life was instantly changing in that moment & only for the better. On this day we rescued a total of 14 breeding mums & dads & puppies who all they knew was to breed in a life of hell & then being sold to start the cycle all over again. Of course when we rescue these amazing souls they have had no veterinary care whatsoever & we have to start from scratch. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Iris how she is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home. Iris was bought back to the WA state where she now is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. Straight from the moment Iris was rescued we knew she was so special. She even got to ride shotgun when rescued as she was instantly a favorite for being so sweet. Her foster mum said her tail does not stop wagging, she is always happy even when her foster mum or dad just picks her up to give her love her tails doesn’t stop. This was a scary one for this girl, if we had not been there & bid as much as we did she would of ended continued to be used as breeding machine for as long as a breeder wanted to breed her. As it is, who knows how many liters of puppies she has already had? She had to be shaved down in some areas as she did have some matting. But she was so scary skinny when we rescued her. Her tail bone & hips protruded & they still do but she has put on weight since being in her lovely foster home but absolutely would need to put on more weight in her forever home. Her foster family said since they have had Iris her whole coat has changed being more healthy & her cost changed in color since she is now getting great nutrition. She is good with her baths & adjusted to being groomed, but not a fan of the hairdryer but is getting used to it. She does not enjoy her feet being shaved on her pads. For everything she has been through, she adapted quite quickly to her very devoted foster home. Her foster mum & dad said she is just so easy & such a sweetheart that sometimes they don’t even know she is there. They said she is a very smart & picked up on everything very quickly. Her foster mum will be preparing her & her foster siblings their food & while waiting she will be asleep at her feet with her foster siblings. She adores being picked up & held & cuddled they said, she just wants to be loved & she loves them back. Her foster mum also said she likes to go for wander & do her own thing. The reality is, the foster homes are her real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding she can snuggle up in, a roof over her head that’s not outside. When she first arrived in her foster home she did not know what to do with the food & treats. But now she knows exactly what is going on & doesn’t miss a beat when it comes to eating. She is now obsessed with food in her foster home. Originally she could take it or leave it but now woofs down her food. In her foster home all of her food is made for her & she eats clean, with fruits, vegetables, proteins & grains. She adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something she did not get to experience ever until she was rescued. She will want to snuggle up in bed with you & she doesn’t take up hardly any room het foster family said as she curls up in a ball. She would still need work walking on her harness & leash as it’s all completely new to her. In her foster home she explores the fully fenced backyard & loves to sit outside in the sun but not for to long because she thinks she will be left outside. She does not discriminate against breeds. But she can be bossy & want to be the boss especially if a dog is being naughty to her, she will sometimes be the fun police but will then want to snuggle up with that dog. Iris rides beautifully in the car & considering the only times we know of was when she went to auction to be sold & when we got her & going home with her foster family & she has done so amazing in the car with her foster mum. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. She hates crates & will refuses to go near them. Iris as you can imagine spent the first part of her life in a caged environment. We are also looking for a forever home for Iris where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Iris is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her & never give up on her. Iris has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & in her foster home & she is currently with other dogs & adores other dogs. She is a Lhasa apso & what she is mixed with we are not sure, female, she is spayed by laser by our wonderful vets. She received a dental scale & polish, dental x-rays along with gum surgery & extraction of 4 premolar’s intermediate removed. She is microchipped, had all her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Iris with paying for her from a puppy mill auction in Missouri. Bringing her to WA with her travel costs, her flight fees flying her to WA. All of her medical care in WA including, neuter by laser etc & bringing her to WA then her adoption fee comes close to covering. Her adoption fee does not even come close to covering half of what we have spent on Iris. Iris has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Iris was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Iris’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Fred mind body & soul was being used as a breeding machine in a puppy mill in Missouri to make money off his back & had we of not bid on him & his son & many more sweet souls they would of continued to use his little body. We were able to bid on him & in fact bought him to stop having a life of misery over & over again for evil human beings to make money off him. Living his life outside in the stinking heat day after day then in the freezing cold in winter time in a metal tin can of a shed was over. His life was instantly changing in that moment & only for the better. On this day we rescued a total of 14 breeding mum & dads & puppies who all they knew was to breed in a life of hell & then being sold to start the cycle all over again. Of course when we rescue these amazing souls they have had no veterinary care whatsoever & we have to start from scratch. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Fred how he is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home. Fred was bought back to the WA state where he now is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. This was a scary one for this boy, if we had not been there & bid as much as we did he would of ended up being used again as a breeding machine for as long as a breeder wanted to breed him. That already was his previous life. For everything he has been through, he adapted well to his very devoted foster home. He had to be shaved down because he was matted but loves a good bath & being brushed & had gotten used to being dried by a hairdryer. His foster mum said he had to learn everything. He listens to his foster mum but ignores his foster dad. He likes to sit in the kitchen with his foster siblings while waiting for his food or a treat. His foster mum said that at first she had to build trust with him but now she has he trust her & he loves her. He enjoys her picking him up & giving him love. She said this boy does not have a mean bone in his body & is a sweetheart, She said he likes to sleep on the blankets with his dog friends. The reality is, the foster homes are his real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding he can snuggle up in, a roof over his head that’s not outside. When he first arrived in his foster home he did not know what to do with the food & treats. But now with his food & treats he will knock you over with enthusiasm to get to that food. Nothing stands in his way when it comes to food. He is obsessed with it. In his foster home all of his food is made for him & he eats clean. He adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something he did not get to experience ever until he was rescued. He would still need work walking on his harness & leash but has been taught in the rescue to walk on a slip lead. In his foster home at first he would go into the backyard & not want to come inside but decide he would then would & run away from his foster mum or dad. His foster mum was so patient with him & now when he wants to come in. He gives her a bark & she walks outside & he waits for her to pick him up & bring him in.
