Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Meet Louis Louis is a 6-year-old Cotonpoo boy, weighing about 12 lbs, with a gentle presence and soulful eyes that quietly ask for a second chance. He was rescued from a breeding facility in South Korea, where dogs are valued for what they produce rather than who they are. Louis didn’t grow up knowing comfort, routine, or love — but he’s learning now, and he’s ready to find the person who will show him what forever truly means. Louis is past the puppy stage and settling into himself — calm, thoughtful, and grateful for every kind moment. He’s at an age where companionship matters most, and he’s hoping for a home that will let him move at his own pace and finally feel safe. &#226&#156&#168 Adoption Information Louis’s adoption fee is $1,895, a non-refundable donation that directly supports the rescue of dogs in need. It includes: Neuter Vaccinations Microchip Boarding and daily care Health certificate Transport from South Korea to Seattle &#226&#156&#136&#239&#184&#143 A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs (you may bring your own or purchase one from us). Please note: Breed and age are best estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Every adoption allows us to save another life. Thank you for opening your heart to a dog who has waited so long. December 12, 2025, 6:34 pm

Story
Debussy is a 3 year old, 12 pound Coton de Tulear. He is a very sweet, and skittish of humans, but has made great progress. He will come up and sniff your hand but backs away if you try to pet him. When he’s picked up he enjoys the petting and will fall asleep in your lap. His favorite spot is on the couch with his humans. Starting to play with toys. He’ll play with a ball that has treats inside. He’s good on a leash and loves to sniff everything in sight. In the yard he enjoys the freedom to run. He’s treat motivated and is working on the sit command. He sleeps in soft side pen in the bedroom He doesn’t guard his food. You can take away his food bowl or treat without an issue. He’s not possessive of his human but has latched onto someone. When they leave the house he’s okay with hanging out with someone else. He likes other dogs but skittish of people. Not sure how he is with children. He doesn’t mind car rides and is good with other dogs. -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Banjo – A Spirited Soul with a Story to Tell DOB: ~August 23, 2022 | Weight: 21.6 lbs | Adoption Fee: $400 Apply at: www.adoggie4you.org Look at that happy face—Banjo is a character through and through! This little guy is full of charm, always up for some time in the play yard, and never says no to attention from his favorite volunteers. He’s friendly, social, and has a big personality packed into a compact body. Banjo’s story hasn’t been an easy one. After being found on the streets and fully vetted by our team, we searched for his owners for months. Just as he was about to be adopted, his previous owners came forward. Sadly, a year later, Banjo was found on the streets again, and we were called to take him back into our care. His former owners, currently without stable housing, agreed it was best that Banjo find a safe, secure forever home. Due to past food insecurity, Banjo can be food-aggressive with other dogs. He’s shown no aggression toward people and does well with small dogs, but may be a bit pushy with larger ones. With a bit of patience and structure, Banjo has all the potential to thrive. He would love to be an only dog to one person.  Banjo is now safe, healthy, and ready for a brighter future. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who’s ready to be truly home for good, Banjo could be your perfect match. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 17, 2025, 3:05 pm

Story
Oreo Pie got his name because he’s truly sweet as pie. Before being rescued, this little guy was abandoned in a backyard, tied to a tree, and survived thanks to kind neighbors who fed him for a month. When his foster mama saved him, he was severely matted and had to be shaved down to the skin. Since then, he’s learned what it feels like to be safe, loved, and comfortable—and now he happily snores the day away in his doggie bed. Oreo Pie hasn’t met a person he doesn’t adore and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He’s potty trained, crate trained, and an easy-going, laid-back little man who LOVES food. If he’s hungry (or thinks you’re moving too slow), he’ll let you know—and may even bring you his food bowl as a reminder! Oreo Pie will require regular, lifelong grooming to keep him comfortable and mat-free, but he’s absolutely worth it. This sweet boy is ready for a forever family to spoil him the way he deserves. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area)
