**Help Us Find Chappo a Forever Home** We found the dog wandering around in the Highland Ave. area of Birmigham. I agreed to help while we tried multiple postings including Facebook, nextdoor, and PawBoost. We have had 0 luck. He is a good dog, smart, and appears house trained. We have been calling him Chappo but have no idea what his name may have been. He is athletic, fast and can jump but he is short enough he cannot clear a fence. He does love people and he needs some help in teaching him not to jump on people but he does not try and attack in anyway. He would truly make a great pet for someone. I do not have the best situation for a full time dog/pet and am hopefule we can find him a special home. I would guess he is in the 1.5 - 2 year range, not a puppy but not a full adult. I do think he is either finished growing or very close and will not be much larger. Would definitely say he has some lab in him and looks like a shorter dachsuand or hound type of build.

Meet Henry! 🐾 Henry is a confident, curious little guy with plenty of playful energy and just the right amount of cuddle bug mixed in. His foster describes him as a mini bruiser who looks like someone put a Lab/Pit mix through a shrink ray! He settled into foster care quickly and has been showing off his fun, well-adjusted personality ever since. Henry absolutely loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine playmate. He enjoys toys, whether he’s entertaining himself or sharing playtime with his dog friends. He also walks nicely on a leash and does well using either a collar or harness. This smart boy does great in his crate and will even go inside on his own. He appears to be mostly house trained and is continuing to adjust to his foster home’s routine. After a day of playing and exploring, Henry is always happy to slow down for a good cuddle. Meet Cookie ❤️ It is with very heavy hearts that our family is looking for the perfect retirement home for our sweet girl, Cookie. This is one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make. Cookie has been part of our family since our son was just 5 years old. He is now 21, and she has spent nearly her entire life surrounded by our love. As life has changed, so have our schedules. We are now empty nesters with demanding careers and ministry responsibilities that often keep us away from home for 10 or more hours each day. Cookie deserves more companionship, attention, and time than we're able to give her. While we've explored options like dog walkers, living in a rural area has made that very difficult. Cookie is a gentle, loving senior dog who enjoys the simple things in life. She's slowed down with age and would thrive in a calm, peaceful home where someone is around more often. We believe she'd be happiest with a retired individual or couple, or a family with a slower pace of life.

Meet Izzie. We are not sure she could get any cuter. Izzie has a soft sleek black coat with white markings on a long basset hound type body with short legs. Her head and ears however says their may be some beagle in the mix. She is long, lean, and petite. In that cute little package is a fun loving prancing pup with a lot of speed when zoomies kick in. She loves other dogs and plays great with all sizes. She is not a fan of having her picture taken. She is also not a fan of walking on leash so for that reason a yard would be best. She doesnt fight the leash she just lays down and stays put. We are working on it. She can be a little timid at first but settles in quickly. She would love a home where she could sleep in your bed curled up next to you... despite her short legs she can get on a standard bed or sofa. She is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines and on flea, tick, heartworm prevention. Sweet Izzie weighs less than 30 pounds. She is being fostered in North Alabama but can travel to the right home.
