He moonlights as a backyard sniffing safari guide to the doggies in his foster home and reigns supreme as the Tug-of-War Titan. Toys? Treats? Don't even get us started! Kids aren't for him, no judgement, just his preference. Meet him, stare deep into those peepers and exchange adoption vows. We are happy to officiate! Blacky is a sweet shy boy at first. He is playful and warms up once he knows you are someone he can trust. Would make a great running buddy. He comes from the same horrible hoarder situation and had to fight for food so he is still reactive to other dogs at feeding time. We think that he would do best as an only pet or with a female doggie home.

Rowan's fate was what we fear for all dogs. His owner died and the family didn't want him. But, Rowan came to us in rescue, and we're sure we'll find him a permanent home, his furever home. Rowan is a 5-year-old Dachshund mix weighing 18 pounds. He's good with other dogs as well as his foster mom's cat! We aren't sure about small children. He's a good boy who can be found lying in the sun perfecting his tan coat and warming up for the winter ahead. Will you give this boy the furever home he deserves? This sweet boy has met a few dogs in his foster home and gets along beautifully—he’s all about good vibes and friendly sniffs. He seems to ignore cats completely, preferring to mind his own business. Max walks nicely on a leash and enjoys his backyard time, but he truly loves being with his person most of all. He’s used to having someone close by and gets lonely when left alone, so he’s hoping to find a home where he can be part of someone’s daily life again.
