Chaplin is a delightful double dapple (double merle) mini dachshund. She was a stray languishing in the Hondo shelter before pulled by God’s Dogs Rescue. Chaplin got her name because of the distinctive little “mustache” ( ) on her upper lip. Despite her diminutive size (11.4#), she is 100% dachshund! She loves to play, to chase, and to burrow. No pile of unfolded laundry is safe! Finding her in the clothes pile becomes akin to a “Where’s Waldo” puzzle. Given her coloring pattern, she is hard of hearing. She has minimal hearing in her L ear only. Chaplin is ready for her forever home that will adore her for the treasure that she is. Attributes: Loves children Special needs - hard of hearing Local adoption fee is $200(in TX)Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Blain is a super cute Dachshund mix who was brought to us with several of his siblings/housemates after their previous owner could no longer care for them. He is extremely friendly and confident in himself and loves people! His date of birth is 8/22/2023 and he last weighed 20 lbs.Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.
