Story
Lady J Yoo Hoo!! Hello there!! Here I am! Down here!! Well, now that I have your attention, I can tell you about myself. My name is Lady, or Lady J, or “Jaws” or you can call me by my preferred nom de plume… “the Queen”. Foster mom calls me that and I have no idea why, but I like it! I am approximately 7 years old and am a dachshund mix of some sort. I am a long-waisted girl of 18 pounds. Foster mom has had me on a little diet as I was a little chunkier when I first arrived. I was found hanging around a convenience store so I think that all that fast food probably had something to do with the excess waistline I had. I am almost perfect now though, at least my weight is. My back story is mostly unknown, but one can surmise that I have had a few rough times by looking at me. First off, my lower jaw is broken on the left side. The proper name is mandible, and the dogtor told foster mom that it is an old break that not much of anything can be done about. Doc says if I can eat ok, and boy can I eat, then there is no problem. I do have an appointment with the doc to have the baby making bits taken out (yay! Had enough litters to last a lifetime!) and get my teeth cleaned and a broken one taken out. Not sure how I broke that but maybe when my jaw was broken. That is the past and I am looking forward to my future and forever home. I am housebroken and get along with the other pups and the cat who I live with. Foster mom says I can be a little bossy at times but nothing that has a bite with it. As if I could bite anything with a dislocated jaw. I love to sleep on the bed and can climb the stairs to the bed without any problem. I do like to jump off the bed which foster mom tries to stop me from doing because of my sausage shape, she says it is bad for me. I don’t really bark much, and love to spend as much time as possible with my people. If you would like to be my people, please apply to adopt me. $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.
