Story
Meet this handsome 1-year-old Pitbull Dachshund mix 🐾🤎 This sweet boy was recently pulled from another local animal shelter and is so ready for his second chance at forever. He’s incredibly dog friendly and truly loves being around other pups, making him a great companion for a home with canine friends. When it comes to his people, he is all about the cuddles — he adores attention, melts into you for affection, and just wants to be close to his humans. He enjoys going on walks and would happily be your little sidekick for neighborhood strolls or outdoor adventures. While he has so much love to give, he’ll do best in a patient home that understands transitions can take time. With consistency, reassurance, and lots of love, he will absolutely blossom into the most loyal, affectionate companion. If you are my furever home, come visit me at Valley Animal Center’s dog adoption center. To get a head start on the adoption process, you can also fill out the online pre-adoption application! After you fill it out, a dog care associate will contact you shortly. The form is found here: https://valleyanimal.org/dog-adoption-application/ Our Adoption Fees: Puppies: $100 Adults: $75

Story
M - 9 years old - Chihuahua/Dachshund Mix - Jack Frost is a older boy who is slowing down, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like a good cuddle and short, two minute walks! He had several teeth removed due to dental disease, requires a mixture of wet and soaked dry due to the tooth loss, and has some vision impairment. He does fine with other dogs so long as they're not too hyper and in his opinion, annoying. But he knows how to hold his own if it results in a scuffle. He has been around cats and doesn’t seem to really care that they’re there, even when they give him a quick swat to see if he’s going to play. And he loves kids, so long as they are respectful and cuddly! What he really needs is a loving family to give him some peaceful golden years and love that he so desperately misses. ADOPT To adopt, come see us! We're open for walk-ins Tuesday - Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM with adoptions closing at 4:30 PM each day. All adoptions are $25 and our pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to head home with you.
