Adoption fee: $650 Pinterest: Your Tiny 'Retriever' with a Huge Heart If you've ever wished you could have the heart of a Golden Retriever in a compact, apartment-friendly package, meet Pinterest. This adorable 1-2 year old, 11-pound Chiweenie is equal parts adventure buddy, fetch champion, and professional cuddle expert. She's the kind of dog who will happily spend the day by your side, whether you're working from home, exploring a new park, meeting friends at a café, or relaxing on the couch after a fun game of fetch. A Loyal Little Shadow Pinterest wakes up between 7 and 8 a.m., patiently waiting in her crate until you're ready to start the day. No whining or fussing— just a quiet little face waiting to greet you. After breakfast and a morning walk, she's happiest doing what she does best: staying close to her favorite person. She is the definition of a velcro dog. As you move from room to room, Pinterest follows along, always wanting to know what you're up to. When you settle down to work or relax, she'll often wander into the backyard to soak up the sunshine before returning to curl up beside your feet—or better yet, right next to you on the couch. In the evening she enjoys dinner alongside the rest of the family, followed by another walk and one last quick potty break before happily settling into her crate for the night. The Ultimate Fetch Fanatic If Pinterest had a full-time job, it would be Professional Ball Chaser. She absolutely lives for fetch, especially if a tennis ball is involved. She'll gently place the ball at your feet, patiently waiting for another throw. If you don't notice, she'll politely escalate by bringing it directly into your lap. Her ears perk up the instant she sees a ball in your hand, and she'll happily play multiple rounds throughout the day. The best part? The moment she's burned off that playful energy, she transforms into an expert cuddle companion, happily snuggling beside you for a well-earned nap. One of her foster family's favorite stories perfectly captures her loyalty. No matter who threw the ball—friends, family members, or the kids— Pinterest always brought it right back to her foster mom. Every. Single. Time. Ready for Every Adventure Pinterest may be small, but she's eager to see the world. She's visited cafés, friends' homes, and new environments with ease. While new places can make her a little cautious at first, she's quiet, well-mannered, and loves taking everything in by sniffing around and people-watching. She walks beautifully on leash without pulling, enjoys leisurely neighborhood strolls, and is always interested in exploring new scents. She would love a family who enjoys taking their dog along for walks, errands, outdoor adventures, or even an occasional hike. Once she's had a chance to play and explore, she's perfectly content to spend the rest of the day cuddled beside you. Easy to Live With Pinterest is housetrained, crate trained, and has wonderful house manners. She can comfortably hold it overnight, has had no accidents indoors, and can be left loose in the house when her family is away. She patiently waits on the sofa and greets everyone with a happy welcome when they return. She's also a very low-shedding girl, making her an easy addition to keep your home tidy. Friendly with People and Dogs Pinterest gets along nicely with other dogs. She politely greets them during walks but is usually more interested in sniffing her surroundings than making new canine friends. She's spent time off leash with a large Labrador and simply went about exploring without any fuss. She's also done well with children around 10-12 years old. Like many rescue dogs, she appreciates gentle introductions and will happily warm up once she realizes everyone is friendly. A Gentle Soul Who Blossoms with Love Pinterest was a bit nervous when she first arrived... but boy, did that change quickly! Just four hours after arriving in her foster home, she climbed onto her foster mom's lap and fell asleep. From that moment on, she's barely left her side. Pinterest forms deep bonds with her people. While she may initially be shy with new faces and sometimes backs away when strangers reach toward her, she gains confidence quickly with patience, kindness, and a few gentle interactions. Once she knows she's safe, her affectionate, loyal personality shines through. Pinterest's Perfect Home Pinterest would thrive with a family who wants a true companion—a dog who will happily join daily adventures, play endless games of fetch, and then snuggle up for movie night. If you're looking for a little dog with a giant heart, unwavering loyalty, and just the right mix of playful energy and cuddly affection, Pinterest may be exactly who you've been waiting for. She's proof that sometimes the biggest love comes in the smallest package. August 4, 2026, 8:53 pm
