Peanut was surrendered due to owner experiencing and stroke and unable to care for him. He experienced an accident getting his foot stuck under the fence and owners asked our rescue to help him. Peanut received an amputation and is now a 3 legged dog. He adapted very well and has no issues skipping around. He is crate trained.

He’s incredibly dog friendly and truly loves being around other pups, making him a great companion for a home with canine friends. When it comes to his people, he is all about the cuddles — he adores attention, melts into you for affection, and just wants to be close to his humans. He enjoys going on walks and would happily be your little sidekick for neighborhood strolls or outdoor adventures. While he has so much love to give, he’ll do best in a patient home that understands transitions can take time. With consistency, reassurance, and lots of love, he will absolutely blossom into the most loyal, affectionate companion.
