Story
Meet Fife! Old man Fife is a 8 year old dachshund/JRT mix. This sweet little guy has a lot of love to share❤️🐾. Fife might be a little frosty faced but he still has a lot of energy left! He loves to play with his young foster siblings and occasionally gets the zoomies, enticing his siblings to play. When he gets tired from playtime, Fife loves attention from his people and loves to snuggle. He will slowly crawl over to you asking for pets and belly rubs. Fife does have Addison’s disease that’s managed by daily prednisone and a monthly zycortal injection. Fife is crate trained and potty trained. He gets along well with other dogs. He has not been cats or kid tested at this time. Fife does great on a leash and loves going on walks!Fife is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heart-worm negative, and on regular heartworm prevention. If you’re interested in adopting our sweet old man, head on over to our website at www.pawsofadamscounty.com and submit an adoption application. Story
Meet Calvin! Calvin is a 1-year-old Dachshund and Poodle mix — our best guess, but no matter the breed, he’s 100% adorable! Weighing in at about 16 lbs and fully grown, this sweet guy sports a long, wirey coat that will need regular brushing or grooming to keep him looking his best. Calvin is a happy, playful pup who loves other dogs and warms up to people quickly — though he can be just a little shy at first. Once he’s comfortable, he’s all tail wags and affection! Calvin would do well as an only dog or in a home with another playful pup (since he can pester those who aren’t in the mood to play). At home, Calvin enjoys toys, loves attention, and sleeps soundly in his crate at night. He’s not fully housebroken yet and currently wears belly bands indoors, but he was recently neutered and is doing great with a potty routine in his foster home. Leash walking is still a work in progress, so a home with a fenced yard would be ideal. Calvin also thinks chasing cats is fun, so if you have one, it should be a confident, dog-savvy feline. Like many young dogs, Calvin is still learning what’s okay to chew — shoes are his current favorite treasure to “borrow.” If you think Calvin could be your perfect match, please apply on our website: www.trackingintheshadows.com Calvin's adoption fee is $200.  He is fully vetted for 1 year, Spayed, microchipped, & on monthly preventatives. but will need a booster in 2-4 weeks.  Once approved, we will set up a day/time for you to meet Calvin.  Please be ready to take him home within 1-3 days after application approval. *We do not accept electric/underground fences. All dogs & cats in the home must be spayed/neutered & up to date on core vaccines & preventatives in order for your application to be approved.* Please live within 1 hour of Elkhart, Indiana ##2639103##

Story
Buddy came to us because his owner has been placed in a home due to her severe dementia unfortunately that leaves this guy without a place to go. If you’re interested in him, please feel free to reach out. We would prefer a home with no small children as he is eight years old and deserves a soft place to land.
