Kielbasa Katie  came to us from a breeder where she was relinquished by no fault of her own. She simply got too old for the pet store. This is a nice girl who is good with other dogs & with people. She is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her birth date is 12/01/23 and she currently weighs 9#.. Photos were taken after spay surgery & she is still sleepy. She has been vet. checked, spayed,  micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. Her adoption donation is $800 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. Story

Daphne is about 15-pounds and has the most engaging eyes! You feel like she is staring straight into your soul; we are head over heels for this lil' lady. One of the most endearing qualities about Daphne is how she connects with people once she understands you are her friend. She is a gal who does best after a few visits, slow is steady and steady is progress with her, so please be patient as she is so worth it! As far as other dog friends go, she has shown positive interest! She seems to gravitate towards dogs about her size, but we will watch more interactions and let you know. We're unsure about kitties and we think kiddos should be about 6ish and older for her as well as respectful. Once Daphne knows you, she believes she is a lap dog. She wants to snuggle-buggle as close as possible. She is about one year old and is spayed. When we learn more about her, we will update! So come on in to meet this lil' gem!
