Meet Calvin! Calvin is a 1-year-old Dachshund and Poodle mix — our best guess, but no matter the breed, he’s 100% adorable! Weighing in at about 16 lbs and fully grown, this sweet guy sports a long, wirey coat that will need regular brushing or grooming to keep him looking his best. Calvin is a happy, playful pup who loves other dogs and warms up to people quickly — though he can be just a little shy at first. Once he’s comfortable, he’s all tail wags and affection! Calvin would do well as an only dog or in a home with another playful pup (since he can pester those who aren’t in the mood to play). At home, Calvin enjoys toys, loves attention, and sleeps soundly in his crate at night. He’s not fully housebroken yet and currently wears belly bands indoors, but he was recently neutered and is doing great with a potty routine in his foster home. Leash walking is still a work in progress, so a home with a fenced yard would be ideal. Calvin also thinks chasing cats is fun, so if you have one, it should be a confident, dog-savvy feline. Meet Wren! Wren is a young girl estimated to be around 7–9 months old. She’s a petite little gal at about 20 pounds, and we suspect she may be a Dachshund–Beagle mix! Wren has a wonderfully goofy personality that keeps everyone smiling. She absolutely loves playing with other dogs — especially a good game of chase! Toys are another favorite of hers, with Lamb Chop being her top pick. While she can get excited and playful, she definitely has a snuggly side too and enjoys quiet cuddle time with her people. Wren is currently working on her crate training and potty training and continues to make great progress. She’s a loving, sweet girl who’s ready to find her forever family to share her joy, affection, and playful spirit. Koda is the biggest sweetheart. I got her when she was a puppy and she will be 2 in February. She can be a little reactive with other dogs sometimes and does not t like to share her toys. I think she would do best in a single-pet household where she gets all the attention and love. She is a fast runner and loves to play catch. She will do anything for a treat (she can sit, shake, lay down, show her belly, and I am sure she could be trained to do more). Getting rid of her will be very hard so I would like an adopter who will keep in touch and will take great care of her. I would prefer if she went to someone with a fenced in yard too. She is a big chewer so you will need lots of hard toys
