Story
Patton is around 10 years old, I have had him for 5 years. He loves to cuddle under neath the covers with you and is a snuggler. He doesn't need leashed to go outside to potty, will not run off. He does loves walks and treats. He does have a tendency to mark his territory in the house. He gets along with other dogs and cats. Hasn't been around younger children a lot but he would be a good fit for a little older person. Our schedules are so busy and he doesn't like to be kenneled a lot so someone that works from home or is home a lot would be ideal. I just want to make sure he goes to a good home. he does need some dental work done soon. He loves to dress up wear jackets, costums etc...

TEXAS ADOPTION ONLY (BONDED PAIR) Oy Chico! Chico is a sweet couch potato, who is bonded with his brother Jefe! They are cute, little senior dachshunds who are hoping to be adopted together! They are a package deal, consider it a 2-for-1 special! Both have good energy and cannot stop wiggling their butts constantly! We are purebred dachshunds, with slightly different colored patches but all dachshund ALL the time! We are your standard dachshund size and have the temperament that would be great as a binge watching buddy, gaming friend or even a professional nappers (seriously we're that good.) Chico does have a seizure disorder that is controlled well with phenobarbital. His seizures were only about 1 a week but no one wants to let it happen so the meds were started and work GREAT! Local adoption fee is $300 for both of us (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $600 (includes transport to your area)

Meet Willard! He is an adorable 18 lbs, 10 year old dachshund mix looking for his retirement home! He is house and kennel trained, does great with other dogs who stay out of his business, and currently lives with teenage boys, but kids under 5 might be a little much for him. Willy loves to eat any food but his, snuggle on the couch, and supervise his foster dad during work from home days. If you want to meet Willard, please apply at www.foreverhomedogs.org! His adoption fee is $150.All adoptions are $300 per dog for puppies under 1 year, $250 for adults 1 - 9 years old and $150 for senior dogs which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots. Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $150 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.
