Meet Rome 💙 Rome is a 6-week-old Dachshund/Terrier mix weighing 3 lbs 6 oz, and he’s as sweet as they come. With his gentle personality and adorable puppy charm, it’s impossible not to fall in love. His mama is an 18-pound Dachshund mix, so Rome is expected to stay on the smaller side when grown. He’s curious, affectionate, and ready to grow into a wonderful companion with a family who will guide him through puppyhood with patience and love. Story
Meet Candy! 🍬 Candy is as sweet as her name and just as delightful once you get to know her. This petite 2-year-old wirehaired dachshund mix may be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, she blossoms into the most loving, devoted companion. Candy would do best in a calm, understanding home where she can build confidence at her own pace. Once she feels safe, she loves with her whole heart—especially when it comes to snuggling! She’s fully house trained, enjoys leash walks, and is a joy to have around the house. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, making her a great fit for many households. Candy has made wonderful progress in her foster home and now happily greets her people with excitement when they walk through the door. And if you want to win her over quickly, chicken treats are the way to her heart! If you’re looking for a low-maintenance, affectionate companion who will happily curl up beside you, Candy may be the perfect match.

Meet Milan 💙 Milan is a 6-week-old Dachshund/Terrier mix and the biggest of the litter, weighing in at 4 lbs 10 oz. Don’t let his “big puppy” status fool you—he’s just as sweet and lovable as he is adorable. He’s curious, cuddly, and ready to learn, making him a wonderful fit for a family prepared for all the joys of puppyhood. He even did great during bath time—what a good boy! SpongeBob enjoys having his own cozy space, like a crate with a comfy bed, though he prefers not to be left alone in it. He gets along well with other dogs, especially those who understand and respect his personal space. And true to Dachshund form, SpongeBob is a big fan of mealtime! Story
Pearl Pearl is my name and I am one of 9 puppies born to a small, dachshund/chihuahua mix mom. Unfortunately, she was really skinny except for that big belly that was full of puppies and she couldn’t feed all of us when we were born. So I came to my foster mom to get bottle fed along with 2 of my siblings. That worked out really well, but since I was a fussy fart, I refused formula and made my bottle baby mom buy goat’s milk for me to drink. It just tasted better and I loved it. In fact, I loved it so much that I told my sibbers about it and they only drank goat’s milk too!! Mmmmm!! Anyhow, now I am not so fussy but I do like my small bits puppy food so maybe I am still a little fussy so you may want to consider how you are going to spoil me when you adopt me. I will stay small as mom was only 17 pounds full of puppies so I am not sure how much she weighs now, but take away 9 puppies ... .what does that make? I get my baby making bits removed on January 5, 2026 and then will be able to go to my forever home. Will that be with you? Anyhow, I won’t last long as I am adorable, if I do say so myself! Local Adoption fee in Texas is $350 Out of state adoption fee with transport and fuel surcharge is $600

Story
Meet Australia! 🐾 1 year • 11 lbs • Long-haired Mini Dachshund Mix Australia is a tiny ball of fluff with a big heart and an even bigger love for her people. She’s a total Velcro pup who wants to be wherever you are—lap included! When left alone she’ll cry and howl for a bit, but she eventually settles. She’s active, playful, and full of puppy energy. Australia loves playing tag with younger dogs and would do great with another fun, active dog. She respects senior pups—unless they try to steal her human’s lap, which brings out her adorable little jealous streak. She has a healthy appetite, is mostly house-trained, does great with nail trims, and isn’t a fan of the crate when left alone. Australia will thrive with someone who can offer attention, structure, and plenty of love. If you want a snuggly shadow dog with a playful side, she’s your girl!
