Story
Meet the Brady Bunch Litter - **MIKE** Here's the story... of two sweet mama dogs who arrived at one home after being received from an Amish farm. Their new family had no idea that both girls were already expecting, and before long they found themselves with a surprise worthy of a sitcom—a house suddenly filled with 10 adorable puppies (5 boys and 5 girls)! Thankfully, Furever Tails Animal Rescue stepped in to help these little stars find the loving families they deserve. Their parents are a delightful mix of Dachshund, Jack Russell Terrier, and Cattle Dog, creating the perfect combination of intelligence, personality, and playful charm. While mixed breeds are always a bit of a mystery, we expect these puppies to grow into small to medium-sized adult dogs. Just like the famous TV family, this bunch is full of unique personalities! Whether they're romping around with their siblings, discovering new toys, chasing each other through the yard, or piling together for an afternoon nap, there's never a dull moment. Every puppy is still a blank slate, eager to learn and ready for a family committed to helping them grow into happy, well-mannered companions. Puppies are a lifelong commitment—not just an adorable phase. Their future families should be prepared for all the adventures that come with raising a young dog, including house training, crate training, leash training, socialization, chewing, teething, and the occasional accident. Patience, consistency, positive reinforcement, and plenty of love will help these pups grow into wonderful lifelong companions. Because puppies require frequent potty breaks, socialization, and training throughout the day, they would do best with families whose schedules allow them to be home more often than not during these important early months. Puppy training classes are highly encouraged to help build confidence, encourage good manners, and strengthen the bond between puppy and family. As with all puppies, they are not candidates for a tether or invisible fence. A securely fenced yard or a commitment to safe, leashed exercise will help keep them safe while they explore the world and burn off all that puppy energy. If you've ever dreamed of adding one more lovable character to your family, now's your chance! This Brady Bunch is ready to leave the "TV set" behind and find homes where they'll be cherished for a lifetime. With puppy kisses, goofy antics, and unconditional love, these little stars are ready to become part of your family's story—and they can't wait to be loved furever. Mike can go home with his new family in foster-to-adopt status until his neuter surgery has been completed at 6 months (October 2026) of age at one of our partner Veterinary offices (Chesterfield, Clawson, Clinton Twp, or Rochester), which is included in the adoption fee and is non-negotiable. MIKE is:Current on Bordetella, Distemper, and RabiesDewormedHeartworm Tested: NegativeReceiving Heartworm and Flea PreventionMicrochippedScheduled for sterilization surgery at one of our partner Veterinary offices at 6 months of age (included in the adoption fee).ADOPTION FEE: $400 IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. Unfortunately, at this time we are not currently adopting outside of the state of MI. We process applications ONLY - there is no guarantee that you will get a response to an inquiry. Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. We make every effort to evaluate each animal’s temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different. While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program. FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. ##2803763##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Romeo, oh such a suitable name for this goofy, loving dog. Romeo is a 9 year young Dachshund mix. He is great with other dogs and very sociable with humans. Very food motivated and he can hear the cheese wrapper from any distance. Romeo is looking for a permanent home, preferably one without stairs. The coordination in his rear legs is not perfect, but on flat ground he is as fast as the other dogs and he love to run and play wrestle. Romeo is not an early riser, he likes to sleep in on a soft bed close to the warm air vent.  Romeo is incontinent. Romeo has limited bladder control. He leaks urine when his bladder is full. He walks as he pees and is unaware of this, he could wear doggie diapers but he would need to be trained to keep them on. Romeo will not be able to become 100% housebroken due to his neurological problem.** If Romeo is let out often he keeps clean inside most of the time.** Romeo loves his human with ALL his heart . He has lots of needs but lots of love to give. This guy is definitely worth the work. If you think you're that special person who can help Romeo and give him a forever home fill out an application. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
